awww that's lovely @Each. I have twins :) They are 31 lol!!

neveradullmoment99 · 27/12/2018 11:48

@cherries wow...that's great that you can run like that. You make me feel guilty ha ha...I have been slobbing around since yesterday but its so wet that I don't even want to set foot outside.

twosoups1972 · 27/12/2018 12:15

Impressed with the run @ilovecherries I haven't been running for ages. I did couch to 5K in the summer and finished it but I find if I don't run for a week I lose my fitness very quickly. Do you use an app to show how far you've run?

twosoups1972 · 27/12/2018 12:16

Congrats to your cousin each lovely news. When is she due?

SoyYo · 27/12/2018 12:24

Morning not up to much tbh today other than quick pop to shops for bread.
@cherries I’m impressed!
@each lovely, she’s lucky to have your advice and experience
@melen glad you had a good Xmas day your dgd must have loved that dolls house
@not sounds like all of us overindulging
@never Sometimes it’s good to slob about Wink it’s not as if we do this often...
@laska hope you got your cc sorted and you’re okay
We may go to the Norfolk coast for the weekend just to blow the cobwebs out...

ilovecherries · 27/12/2018 12:29

soups, I have a garmin watch that does it all and then syncs to my phone. I’m not fast by any means, but when I consider that less than five years ago I needed a wheelchair and wore morphine patches for pain, it feels nothing short of miraculous. I try to run 5K three times a week now, and run in all weathers except ice/snow as I’m still terrified I will fall. Just can’t get on with the treadmill at all, again because I think I’m scared of falling, so if I really can’t run outside, I use an elliptical.

EachandEveryone · 27/12/2018 13:36

The already have a 4 and 6 year old so its going to be fun!

twosoups1972 · 27/12/2018 14:29

That's really impressive cherries I WAS going 3 times a week over the summer but I've lapsed. Was ill with cough/cold thing for a while and now I can't get the motivation up again. When I was doing C25K I was focussed on time rather than distance so have no idea how far I run. How long does it take you to run 5K? Do you stop at all or go straight through?

Laska2Meryls · 27/12/2018 16:13

DH and I been out on a long walk since this morning on a lovely clear and sunny day here, sea shore hills and woods ,and are now just back for the best bit of Christmas - when we are on our own with a fridge full of yummy left overs! .

Just started off by having a fine Jerez sherry and some Catalan salted Almonds Soy Grin

Actually I'm finding that I dont at all mind not having a credit card .. its rather nice not looking at sale stuff...

Running is really not fr me , but after today I am determned to make a brisk walk down to the Bay and over the top of the downs a regular thing of an evening ..

A sea hill coast circuit can be anything from 1-12 miles here because we are in a semi rural area..

Laska2Meryls · 27/12/2018 16:28

So amongst other things, I received ( as well as the lovely Hush Scarf,) gorgeous Geelong wool jumper mini dress from Celt and co ( in charcoal) , and an orange Cashmere cardi from JL , plus a new silk dressing gown..
and pants and socks of course! (its tradition in our family to all give each other pants and socks!) plus lots of other lovely things ..I was really spoilt.

Tomorrow we on the road.. off for DH family meal in the town he works away in all week and which DMIL hosts in a restaurant .. it will be fun.. 27 of us confirmed .. Plan is to come back in the evening , but its 4hrs traveling (inc boat) each way ..

Laska2Meryls · 27/12/2018 16:30

cherries as ever I am in Awe of you.. .. you are such an inspiration ..

happytobemrsg · 27/12/2018 16:57

Well I completely fell off this thread!! Merry Christmas everyone!

I just ordered a couple of things from Mint Velvet - can they be discussed here or is this thread for Hush only?!

Ellapaella · 27/12/2018 17:00

@happytobemrsg you can show/tell us about all your buys here, not exclusively Hush. What did u get from MV?

Ellapaella · 27/12/2018 17:06

Well I would have loved to order the Fifi bag but it'll have to wait for another time.. I had £100 money but I've used it to put towards my Dr Martens which should arrive next Wednesday- very excited about those.

@Ella, my dd's boots arrived for her birthday and OMG they are gorgeous and SO much nicer in real life. Pity they are a 3. She looks fabulous in them.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/12/2018 17:13

I ordered hers from Schuh on Christmas Eve so it was pretty quick. I have put them away for her. What ones did you get? I love mine and have worn mine way more than I ever thought. Going to save up for another pair I think. Something with a bit of colour.

dontcallmelen · 27/12/2018 17:26

Hello everyone having a quiet day today, had mega clean up & sort out yesterday.
cherries another one in awe of the running.
Laska ooh sounds like a nice day tomorrow & your walk sounded lovely, unfortunately nothing so scenic here, but do have a few lovely parks in walking distance, I need to take more regular exercise but running is difficult for me due to dodgy heart, thinking should get back to Pilates & more walking.
Each aww lovely news, enjoy your trip to Yorkshire.
Soy Norfolk sounds like a lovely idea.
Ella & Never* I have dm envy.
Two lets us know what you got from MV, I like the knitwear from MV.
Not 😂 at having to actually talk to family.

ilovecherries · 27/12/2018 17:38

soups, I run it without stopping but I am VERY slow - just under 40 mins. I used to be able to walk faster! But hey ho, I’m still chuffed with myself Xmas Grin

Nice to see you back, laska, have missed you.

mrsg, post away!

ilovecherries · 27/12/2018 17:39

I would love DMs, but I just cannot break them in. Couldn’t do it before, no chance you. But they are so lovely.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/12/2018 17:44

You can buy canvas ones - more in the summer @cherries. My leather ones didn't need any breaking in tbh.

happytobemrsg · 27/12/2018 17:44

Well I've been thinking about ordering the star jumper for ages & finally took the plunge. I also in a fit of madness ordered my first ever piece of cashmere! It's a bit strange, being a poncho, but looks so comfy. Thinking it'll look nice with my dark grey printed leggings.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/12/2018 17:46

It is really nice to hear from you @Laska. Sounds like you have had a good Christmas and so nice you are doing lots of family things. We are going over to my SIL on new years eve. Going to pop on my leather leggings and one of my wide tops [ordered the charcoal one today].

happytobemrsg · 27/12/2018 17:47

Urgh I can't attach pics
