This just popped up on a local FB page: Prince and Princess of Wales visit Canberra in 1985. Local tradies didn’t get dressed up for Royal visit. Classic!

Diana looks like she's having fun talking to the tradies but again, hard to believe she's only 24 there.

The dress and accessories just look so polished and well put together. Was she wearing Givenchy last night too?

And DoC has an engagement today too; is it bad I'm hoping for another blazer and trouser combo? The last one looked so chic, it took years off her.

All this speculation about Meghan being a month further on than claimed. Nonsense! I am short waisted (and short legged... just short, basically). My babies were gestated outside of my body. I was huge both times. People asked me if I was having twins constantly. I can only guess there was no room inside so my body sent the bump out, out, out. I had severe diastasis recti though. Core muscles are shot to pieces

I’m always amazed when I see taller women with longer torsos having such small bumps, because that was the opposite of my experience!

Kate's in Meghan green today! Cute dress, and reminiscent of the spotty one she wore for Charles' birthday portraits. The shoes don't quite match but I imagine she thought "sod it, they're green, they'll do"!

Thats a nice dress. But it was -3 here this morning - she must be made of steel to not be wearing a coat, as she looks to be standing outside! She must have a vast array of thermal vests for all occasions

FGS let her enjoy being pregnant!!! She can cradle her bump whenever wherever she wants IMHO.

@Spudlet I imagine she's just outside for a short photo op. When you're chauffeured to and from events in a nice heated car then who needs a coat??

God, what a thoroughly boring polka dot dress. I don't love polka dots on anyone over the age of about 9, I find them a bit childlike.
