Liked the look of today’s but was so hard to get out! Had to really really squeeze to get it moving, my tube feels full of air and even rolling it from the bottom up I only got the tiniest bit!

DearPrudence · 07/12/2018 07:49

I'm following and enjoying this thread even though I don't have the calendar - is that weird?

Anyway, if anyone would be kind enough to post a photo of the day's offering that would be great. I already wish I had this year's calendar. Xmas Envy

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 07/12/2018 07:51

Prudence, it's this

Chrysanthemum5 · 07/12/2018 07:51

Will use this today in place of my trusty nivea lip balm and see how it goes. My lips are very dry at the moment so will be interesting to see how it fares

Bobbywashere · 07/12/2018 07:55

Yes it is hard to squeeze out. I thought there might have been a seal at first. Think it might be so thick that it is hard to get it through the tiny little hole. My lips feel so moisturised/

DearPrudence · 07/12/2018 07:55

Thank you Freaky and Crysanthemum Xmas Smile

This is what we have had so far.

Ooh I love a good balm. I found it comes out easier once the tube is a bit warm.

Xmasbaby11 · 07/12/2018 08:13

Love today's. My lip balm had nearly run out.

MiaN · 07/12/2018 08:16

I opened this box month ago and it gets easier to get product out gets easier after few uses.

Feawen · 07/12/2018 08:24

That’s good to hear MiaN! I like a good lip moisturiser but found this tricky to use.

I’m looking forward to trying the elasticiser at the weekend. Smells good!

SpudUDontLike · 07/12/2018 08:40

My lips are so dry and constantly peeling that I was overjoyed to get today's gift! If this sorts me out I might be converted.

BlancheM · 07/12/2018 09:14

I've put my whole body weight on the tube to try and get some out and I give up! Might have to cut the end off.

Trills · 07/12/2018 09:20

I expect it'll be squishier if it's warmer?

HumberElla · 07/12/2018 09:49

Love the balm, it’s very nourishing and I only needed a tiny squeeze. I’ve got very dry lips just now and this feels lovely on without being greasy or glossy. Great product.

SecondTimeCharm · 07/12/2018 09:54

@passthebubbly that’s funny, i have both too and i think the harrods is coming out on top for sure Grin

today’s lip balm was a little disappointing, very hard to get out of the tube and felt a bit greasy on the lips for me. I’m a loyal Nuxe Reve de Miel fan

dollyknocker · 07/12/2018 10:15

My lip gloss thing doesn't work, nothing comes out no matter how hard I squeeze it. Am I doing something wrong?!

dollyknocker · 07/12/2018 10:17

Oh bloody app is now showing me all the other posts saying the same thing, sorry. I tried warming it and squeezed it so hard I thought it would burst but still no sign of any product.

loveka · 07/12/2018 10:24

Oh! I thought it would be berry coloured!

diamondsandrose · 07/12/2018 10:31

Give it a while to soften somewhere warm

Feels nice and tingly

A lot of lip balms kind of "sit" on my lips and don't penetrate the dryness if that makes sense. I get this weird thing as if my lips are burnt and nothing much helps apart from, bizarrely , Bobbi brown lipgloss.

Often lip balms are just a layer of grease on top of the soreness.

Hopefully this is a penetrating one, tingly ones usually are. Oo-err
If it does it's a holy grail for me!

diamondsandrose · 07/12/2018 10:32

If anyone knows a lip balm that soothes the burnt lips thing I'd be very grateful!

diamondsandrose · 07/12/2018 10:49

To the PP asking about the elasticiser pony tail thing, for me yes I just do the pony tail as the ends are the driest part and it's quick to just dip the pony tail under the tap to wet it.

BlancheM · 07/12/2018 10:54

I rub it into my roots as well, not every time but it makes a difference and after using it long term, my hair has grown out really healthy.

MiaN · 07/12/2018 11:25

@damandsandrose
lrp cicaplast lip balm is the best imo.
