All my brother said was 'He needed the bathroom and it was a good spot to stop'. Quite why they stopped at my place which is quite close to KP is beyond me. I wasn't going to ask anything. I was very annoyed that my brother didn't send a text to let me know he had stopped by. I lived on my own and yes I sometimes got scared!!!

Paradyning · 30/11/2018 22:02

For some reason I read PH as DOEvin your first post about your loo. Then had visions of him spraying your bathroom.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/11/2018 22:05

Oh yes some of them are "quite pretty" @CurlyWurlyTwirly but not model material! Amelia Windsor and Olympia or Greece wouldn't be on the catwalk if it wasn't for their names.

@YearOfYouRemember sorry for the late reply, only just catching up. It's the Jan issue, and has Michelle Obama on the cover. Carole did the interview as a focus on businesswomen. I'm a subscriber so get issues a bit earlier, it might not be on your app yet? (sorry have no idea how it works!)

AhoyDelBoy · 30/11/2018 22:11

Supermum are you the poster whose brother worked as security for PH? I’m guessing so. How very odd it was obvious someone had been at your place if they were only stopping for the loo. I hope they didn’t rifle through your knicker drawer Grin (that’s a joke btw) I guess if you live alone it’s very obvious when someone has been in.

Curly is abandoning us for CELEBRITY Style & Gossip Shock

BettyBooJustDoinTheDoo · 30/11/2018 22:22

Always thought that Curly was a bit fickle....Grin

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/11/2018 22:26

I will never abandon Royal Style & Gossip. As soon as I see those shiny Tiaras at the Diplomatic reception I’ll be back. But this is FASHION darlings and I have trawled Instagram, Twitter & thé blogs and thos Royal Ladies are giving us nothing new at the moment.
So let’s check out Amal, VB and any non titled Alisters on Celebrity Style and Gossip

ElspethFlashman · 30/11/2018 22:29

Am I the only one thinking PH was caught really really short and had to do a massive dump in her flat? GrinGrinGrin

itswinetime · 30/11/2018 22:34

See what happens when the deprive us of gowns and jewels we go from talking about Diamonds to massive dumps 😂😂 save us if you are reading Meghan and Kate through us a new tiara or something Crown

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 30/11/2018 22:35

Well I hope he flushed & kept the bathroom clean & tidy Smile

AhoyDelBoy · 30/11/2018 22:36

No Elspeth, no you’re not Grin

SenecaFalls · 30/11/2018 22:40

Am I the only one thinking PH was caught really really short

That was certainly my first thought. Grin

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/11/2018 22:41

Here's a distraction. The Telegraph has an interview with Carole Middleton. I don't mean to throw shade at Kate, Pippa or James but it seems none of them inherited their mother's drive or work ethic!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/11/2018 23:10

That was an interesting interview @Queen
However why would Carole give an interview. It made me think; either the business is struggling or they are going to get divorced... eek!

AhoyDelBoy · 30/11/2018 23:18

Royal Christmas Cards 💌

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 30/11/2018 23:23

I think I will write to Meghan! Maybe I will get a card back in her beautiful handwriting !

Pupsiecola · 30/11/2018 23:48

Maybe they are gearing up to sell the business?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 01/12/2018 00:06

Gosh latest DM Meghan story.
Apparently she wanted the church to be sprayed with atomisers for a nice smell before the wedding. Either it is completely made up or twisted. They are honestly making Meghan out to sound like Marie Antoinette.

TheCraicDealer · 01/12/2018 00:20

I'm not a massive MM fan but it's all getting a bit silly now, isn't it. The wedding was six months ago, and even if this little nugget was true- so what? She seems the type of perfectionist who would pay attention to things like scent- given there's no suggestion she threw the head up when she was told "no" I fail to see what the point of this story is.

itswinetime · 01/12/2018 00:28

Not a major publication but it seems even the press are starting to question how there can be so many leaks and negative stories around at the moment.

the cut.

It's beyond a joke now each story lore ridiculous than the last! They had so many flowers in the church no one would think what we really need is a ambi pure plug in yes I know they are probably more jo malone than am I pure 😉 If there is any truth in it it will have been a joke comment I think.

Want2bSupermum · 01/12/2018 02:04

MM has really upset some of the senior people who manage the RF. I'm really not surprised by the negative comments but it will continue for a bit longer until the stories are so ridiculous that people stop paying attention. DofC did a great job putting the flames out. She probably isn't thrilled to have DofS as a SIL. I'm sure she would have preferred someone like Lady Viola Grosvenor as a SIL, which is the type of person who traditionally would have married PH, preferring someone like her because they have been raised within the culture so know what is expected. It's a very hard role to take on.

As for the dresses, thank you for the link to the fold. I found a couple of nice suits and will wait until I'm in London in Jan to try on so I get my size right.

I sent DH a link for the Catherine Walker site and he loves the evening gowns. I've been wearing the same evening gown since I was 17! He wants me to get something new. I'm not telling him the price. We can afford it but we just don't spend money on ourselves ever. I have 6-7 events a year where I need to wear a gown so it does make sense to have one lovely dress. I've sent them an email to see if I can book for January. The goal will be for the dress to take me through to 60.

Clionba · 01/12/2018 05:49

A dress to take me through to 60 - are you Princess Anne?! Grin

UrsulaPandress · 01/12/2018 06:25

The Megan stories really are getting ludicrous now. Horrible headlines then totally made up nonsense in the body of the article. Is it just the Daily Mail doing it?

Clionba · 01/12/2018 06:28

Nope. Lots of outlets. She wanted atomisers to scent the Chapel, she was told no. That's probably the end of it, but of course the spin is her controlling and demanding behaviour. They were the nation's sweethearts a few months ago, what's gone wrong?
