Yes laska you could always give a cheaper option like Uniglo a try but size up? They have the cashmere in crew and v necks too and the last order I received (heatech tops) was free delivery and returns (above £50 I think which the cashmere is) you get a Hermes return label.
Btw today wearing the new Hush skinny black jeans and they’re super stretchy and comfy but glad to report they don’t bag and hold their shape. Very pleased! With the burgundy sweat top, going out to see the Xmas lights switch on in our town centre which is literally 3 minutes walk from our house so will put on the velvet puffa and go have a look at the stalls and have a glass of mulled wine Wine

Btw I ordered DH one of the cashmere jumpers in deep green

SoyYo · 01/12/2018 16:13

From Uniglo I mean

neveradullmoment99 · 01/12/2018 17:19

They have a Christmas switch on in my town centre today but last time I went I felt the stalls were very disappointing. They did have music though. I forgot all about it this year. Maybe just as well as the weather itsnt the best especially with the kids. My dh took the kids to the school xmas fayre. Going to pop the tree up tomorrow when my dd comes back. She is away ice skating in Edinburgh with friends and her mum and going for a sleep over. She was super excited.

Huffthepuff · 01/12/2018 17:36

@Laska2Meryls I've got an email from Pure Collection for 30% off this weekend if you decide to go down that route. Doesn't seem to be a code but you can forward the email to fam/friends

dontcallmelen · 01/12/2018 17:39

Laska glad you having a chilled day & had some time to have a think so important under the circumstances 💐
Met friends for lunch, which was lovely tried a vegan/veggie super healthy cafe, had pancakes made with almond milk & agave syrup so am now completely healthy😂 ready for stuffing my face with wotsits later.

Laska2Meryls · 01/12/2018 18:24

It has Chard,(he bought local organic chard even, ooh get us!) lots of herbs and chickpeas and tons of garlic and oil and pork smells divine..I have had a lovely lazy day.. and have a Wine already on the go ..Wink

dontcallmelen · 01/12/2018 19:03

I’m even more healthier than I thought then, didn’t know wotsits were veggy, my body is a temple I tell yer😂
Enjoy your evening & the 🍷glad you have had a good lazy day.

SoyYo · 01/12/2018 21:15

Hope you’re all enjoying a chilled eve. We had an hour walk and a glass of mulled wine for the Xmas lights switch on, I think it may be the last one in this town as we plan to sell our house next summer. DS2 came with us and we went to the church to look at all the Xmas trees decorated by local groups, schools and societies. DS2 fondly remembers doing them when he was a Scout or at the various swimming clubs, and even playgroup when he was very very small, and while we were admiring the decorated trees there was enthusiastic live Carol singing too Smile

laska Finery seem to have 40% off knitwear (code on Page I’m linking to) in case anything here is suitable (lovely slouchy jumpers just not sure they’re the colour you’d like)

NotAnActualSheep · 01/12/2018 21:18

Lol at laska and len with the healthy eating!

We went out to a Swedish cafe for lunch, after DS had been to a cinema party, and I had a "vegan brunch" (could have been veggie, but I didn't want to pay the extra £ for an egg). It was yummy, but DH commented that the sausage looked a bit like it would in a few hours (if you get my drift BlushShock) which spoilt it a bit. And some pear cider, which is basically the same as fruit juice, and a perfect accompaniment to breakfast...

Glad you have had a lazy day laska and you deserve the Wine.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/12/2018 21:49

40% is good. I always find the finery clothes a bit 'odd' or is it me? I ordered a skirt in their sale a couple of years back. Its lovely but the colour is 'odd' but I have had compliments wearing it. It is a kind of grey with khaki. It took me ages to decided what went with it.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/12/2018 21:52

Ive not done much today. Slobbed about mostly this evening. Cant wait to stop for Christmas. My last day is the 19th December so truly on the count down. Off for 18 days Grin

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 01/12/2018 23:06

Had a lovely day here (sadly no hush worn). Unfortunately about half an hour ago DS aged seven exploded out of his room in a right state with a temperature of 40.5. He’s asleep in bed beside me making odd gulping noises. Could be a fun night.

neveradullmoment99 · 01/12/2018 23:24

Oh no. Poor soul [ and you] Hope you have an ok night. So many bugs about. We have been lucky this year so far.

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2018 19:18

Porpoise aww hope he feels better soon, definitely lots of bugs going around at the moment, dgd has had a really bad cold/throat she sounds like Phil Mitchell at the moment, we keep getting her to say “Allo Pat” 😂

SoyYo · 02/12/2018 19:41

Just checking in, you’ve all been very quiet so hope you’re enjoying a good Sunday.
melen Phil Mitchell! Grin you made me laugh! Poor baby Smile
And Porpoise hope your youngster is not too bad today.
never re Finery I’ve only bought shoes/boots from them, very fast delivery yes the clothes are a bit strange but good quality like their footwear.

Well DS who lives in Brighton and was struggling a bit went and handed in his notice, employer didn’t want to lose him so he’s been offered a home based contract and He's come home today for the week. I’m super pleased for him as I think some time at home will do him good, still plans to go to Brighton office every other week and do a day there. So fingers crossed it’ll work out for him.
So now I have both boys living at home again and I feel good about it. We’re planning on selling our family home next summer and move to Spain/live part time here but will hugely downsize to a small 2 bed Apt in the UK so it’s unlikely we’ll all live together again long term. I’m sure by the time we sell boys will be more than ready to move on to other living arrangements but in the meanwhile plan to make the most of the next few months living as a family again under the same roof.
Is it boomerang generation our kids in their twenties are called? Well I don’t mind one bits to have chicks home to roost Wink

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2018 20:08

Soy aww how lovely to have them back for a while, my Ds keeps coming back, he’s home at the moment as well & he is late thirties 😳

Laska2Meryls · 02/12/2018 20:18

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2018 20:25

Laska sounds a very good weekend, I have been at IKEA all day am totally & utterly knackered.

Laska2Meryls · 02/12/2018 20:31

IKEA all Day!!? Terminal.. (unless you are working there of course? ).

I have mostly plopped and read , and made soup.. the only thing Ihave bought has been a hat that DH wants for Christmas .. although I am just about to treat myself to the next in the series of books I am reading (Icelandic murder mysteries !)

Am feeling much more rested and so glad I took this weekend out .. tomorrow back over to the mainland where we are meeting the celebrant to discuss funeral ..

Laska2Meryls · 02/12/2018 20:33

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2018 20:52

Ooh the books sounds good Laska glad you are feeling much more rested & hopefully you’re mind/thoughts a bit clearer especially when you meet with the celebrant tomorrow, hope it goes well💐

dontcallmelen · 02/12/2018 20:57

No not working there, went with dd & dgd Dh drove us, as dd & her Dh have not long moved to a bigger place, but it needs a fair bit of work so getting some ideas/cost, was a very looong day.

Laska2Meryls · 02/12/2018 21:10

Quentin Bates Gunnhildur books Len if you are into that sort of stuff (not gory)

Laska2Meryls · 02/12/2018 21:14

... I didn't really see you as an IKEA woman, or worker Len having seen some of your lovely furniture projects.. Smile.

Right after my 'exhausting' day i'm going early to bed with Brew to read the next installment ! got a criminal to catch!!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/12/2018 21:15
