Hello! Another drop by as I saw the thread! I had a bit of a splurge with the 25% discount event having made quite a bit of cash from a big e-bay clearout. I bought the grey biker shoulder star sweat which is perfect. I bought the Big Love jumper in pink/cream (it's huge, have sized down) but still not sure if it's justifiable or indeed how much I will realistically wear it. Beautifully comfortable and soft though. Still pondering on that one. I also bought the star bag with the chain detail. Absolutely perfect bag, not keen on the chains, might do a strap swap (which I do with a lot of things to make them work!). It's such a gorgeous bag though, right size, lovely leather. Sent back the zebra star jumper, felt too short. Also sent back the navy marl sloppy joe and I found the cut so odd. Not for me. A couple of weeks ago I posted about buying the sparkly wide relaxed top. I thought it was lovely but realised that I would have so little occasion to wear it that I returned it .

I also got an absolutely bargain Jada green jumper dress for 20 quid on e-bay. Perfect as new condition. Looks gorgeous on. I really couldn't afford it at full price when it was online so I am delighted with it!

@dontcallmelen I've just tried the big love jumper on with the mid-charcoal amies from this season and it looks lovely. It is heading a bit further up the keeper list. What I have noticed is I've always had an issue with Hush sweats. Always slightly too short and I buy the largest size (I'm a 14 but have big norks). I bought the star biker sweat last year and returned it as it sort of hovered in an uncomfortable spot in terms of length. The one I've just bought is perfect and definitely a couple of inches longer as was the marine bright star sweat that I bought myself for my birthday. Lots of reviews mentioned length on sweats so I suspect they've listened.

I'm going to wear the Jada on Boxing Day with pointy heeled ankle boots and thick tights with a green leopard silk scarf. Will hide the bloaty excesses

Ooh good they may have listened, wish they would sort the bloomin sizes out it can be very hit n miss, your Boxing Day ensemble sounds very stylish 👍🏼

I know what you mean about the length of the sweats formidable. I tried on the confetti one this season, and a couple from last year, and you are right...they just seem a bit short (and I'm not blessed with norks, so it's not just you!). Sounds like you got a few bargains though...especially the jumper dress. Sounds perfect for boxing day digestive activities.. The love jumper looks great...they are doing some really lovely snuggly jumpers this year.

Yes soy -the fabric of the "twisty" dress is very flimsy. I think that is part of the problem (and to be fair, lots of the reviews on the site do say that). There isn't enough fabric strength to hide wobbly bits under it, even though theoretically it fits...

I spoke to sainsburys customer services, and they said they would honour the discount...through some very complicated process. However, I've just been back on the website, and it doesn't seem to exist on there any more . My local store doesn't have them either.. I'll give it another try on and see if I can live with the oversizing...

Yes - I would have to return it, and then order it again online. But they would give me a credit to my account for the difference between the full price and the 25% off price if I phoned them up again between returning and reordering. (She did have to explain the process to me a few times..it was a bit complicated for a Friday afternoon!). Not much use if there isn't any way of reordering it, though! Gah...

What a pain. Well its either keep it or just send it back. What about the monsoon one that cherries has? Its very similar.

Right I am now looking for Meryl-like in charcoal or black.. to go with the bronze skirt.. (which I wont be wearing to Funeral as too sparkly).. has any one seen one , so far all I have found is one from Pure collection which is £150..

What about H&M? Love the idea of a meryl that is in black. What about jigsaw. They had one in bright pink and a few other colourways but I cannot remember what they were. Off to google.

@TS - I suppose it depends upon what body shape you are. It can be dressed up with jewellery but there are dressier things? Is it just a casual night out? If so, then it will look great with heels, tights and some jewellery. The tina is knitted whereas the tara is jersey.

Celtic and co have this lovely one in Navy.. and this slouch jumper is nice too! Tempted...

I like them both, but neither are not black, so search continues .... its a V wet day here today. i'm staying indoors chilling out and am feeling much better for the pressure being off a bit and being able to think things over for myself.. DH is here so that's nice also and hes cooking later .. I'll be oing back over to dads on Monday as we are meeting celebrant

Hi laska I’m not sure how long you want the sweater, I think they look better with the skirts just below waist but not sooo long.

Hmm will look, I definitely want longer,, (a bit like the Meryl length) with that bronze skirt, I have shorter jumpers and like the blck boat neck with it but really liked the longer look ( I know you weren't so keen on it as the shorter one soy but it does feel a 'me' look) . Id really like the hush Charcoal cashmere B/F and the Hush Black roll neck cashmere but am not paying that price .. ( nor asking Dh to!) . maybe they will be in the sale but after them being mysteriously out of stock on the 25% weekend and then reappearing at full price , I'm not counting on them going down much
