Well hush leather leggings and nibbled jumper. I like the colour in daylight @soyo. I have pixelised my face so you can see my skin tone

My only worry is, how will it wash? Bit concerned it all runs!!! Saying that, if that is the case, I could return it? Why oh why do that to cashmere. I am with you cherries on that.

Other Stories coat its really nice but this one is too big I think? I didn't have any idea of their sizing so ordered the 42 . Thinking now of either one or two sizes down? It's supposed to be boxy but this is I think too much so. Even with Meryl and T under. Photo of sleeve so you can see texture.sorry about dusty mirror..

Its too big @Laska but it is gorgeous. Definitely order the size down as its lovely.

I am not sure about how many sizes to go down. Hard to tell from photo. Love the texture. I would go down one size but it depends upon how it is at the bust. What to do is measure it against other coats you have and perhaps judge from that. Normally sizes go down a couple of inches at a time.

So if its 12 an a 40 then a 10 will be a 38 etc?

glad you agree with me, yes Black is hard to photograph.. Its a lovely coat , and definitely will be worn not just for funerals.. I had the 40 and the 38 in the basket waiting for someone to to answer never! so have reordered both, . Whats annoying is that they have free delivery from the 1st , but i must be sure I have it here for the end of next week, Ah well.

Their sizes are bit confusing, yu can click through to size guide from the page but i thought as they are an H&M offshoot ( they are aren't they? ) that id better size up

@Laska2Meryls I thought 38 is a 10 but on the info under the Other Stories coat I bought it said model is wearing size 36/10 so I ended up ordering a 36 and it fits well, if on the larger side. Very confusing

laska hope you’re feeling more rested this am, it’s a long hard and depressing slog you’re going through right now when all you must want to do is have peace and quiet to grieve...try and plan a short break with DH in the new year to give you something to look forward to? Think of a city break or a place in the sun? Just to cheer yourselves up.
The OS coat is lovely but agree too big on you, which you didn’t need confirmation on I’m sure...fingers crossed one of the smaller ones fit like a glove.

@neveradullmoment99 I love that outfit, the jumper is a great colour on you and goes so well with the amazing leather leggings. I think you have a similar skin tone to me although my hair is not dark, it's more red. I inherited my Mum's Mediterranean Olive skin colouring (I'm not as dark as she is but I have definite yellow undertones)- I think rusty autumn colours definitely look good with your colouring, in fact you are likely to pretty much suit most colours.

@Laska2Meryls I love the coat, I would say only go down one size so that you can still get a chunky knit underneath comfortably. I had no idea that Stories were associated with H&M.

@NotAnActualSheep I love the twiggy jumper, it looks great, it's a keeper for you I reckon.

I love that outfit too @Never - leather leggings are just beautiful as is the jumper - and @Dave (hi I'm new here!) - that dress is beautiful on you - just like it was on @Ella too. I really like the Twiggy on you @NotAnActualSheep - I ordered it at the end of Oct. but it did nothing for me so I sent it back. The neck was too tight - didn't suit me. I got the pink Meryl instead - can't WAIT to wear it - it's going to be a Christmas present so I just got to try it on with a few things. @Laska - I LOOOOVE all of the various skirt+jumper combos - loads of inspiration there. I paired my Meryl with a long Hush skirt (Veira? Is that was it was called?) when I tried it on to show my sister. I think it looks nice tucked in a bit the way that @Ella was talking about yesterday. I also agree with the others about the coat Laska - that a size down would be better. I have heard too that &OtherStories are a more expensive/different target audience "franchise" (not the right word really) of H&M so it would make sense that their sizing would be similar.

Here's the pink Meryl with the Hush Veria skirt - photos taken to see if my sis thought it was a keeper (we don't live near each other) ... I can't wait to try it on with other bottoms. @Laska, I don't have your long legs so I don't know that it will be as nice on me with leggings/jeans - will give it a go though. I noticed after I took these photos how dirty my mirror was - I cleaned it!

Those dresses are beautiful on you @twosoups - the material looks to be a lovely quality/weight in them. I think that I prefer the second one - I think that it fits you even better than the first one ... but I adore the burgundy+grey in the first one too! Either would be gorgeous. Which would be easier to match with tights etc.? Second one maybe?

Hush bronze pleated skirt bnwt that I won on eBay arrived . Pleased with it by definitely would not have paid full price for it. Was 89! (I got it for 30 )
