I think things have moved on now, but just to agree with everyone who's said soy looks great in all the haul. And you obviously love the jumper...the hand gesture says it all! Ditto huff and the coated jeans, but I agree that for that price they need to be perfect and ideally gold plated. I really liked them when I tried them on, but just not enough to justify the cost. Though have to say you look much better than me...they do really look like leather jeans in your photo.

len - I know what you mean Re the Meryl. It is lovely lovely, but the sizing is really off! On no planet am I an "xs" ( and I don't want to be vanity sized into one) so people who really do fit the measurements on hush's size guide would be swamped! But miss bobbins , the neck isn't restrictive at all. Kind of a floppy cowl...that's what I like about it. Not too keen on the feel of wool polo necks, and they make my neck look the same thickness as my head..

Wonder how big the XL Meryl is?? Do you think we could all get in there?

Oh, and Gin - hope you're feeling better today! I had that "it's too cold to get changed" thing on Sunday. Ended up falling over onto the bed cos I was refusing to take my slippers off when taking off jeans, and they got stuck.

Can you help me style the Mariana skirt in snakeskin? I’m a 50 year old short arse( 5 foot 1), a size 16 and very curvy with huge boobs. I do have a waist, but also a belly! . I ordered it off my son for my Xmas pressie and it arrived today. I bloody love the feel of it (floaty) and the print. I tried it on with long black boots.m and a v neck black jumper. It looks wrong with the jumper out, (hides my waist) and not good tucked in (you can see the elasticated waist band). I also have a silver sort of off the shoulder White Company top that could go with it for a more dressed up look.

Any ideas?? It’s a right pita being short and curvy! I’m never going to look like the Hush models.

Oh and it has slouchy pockets. All the hearts for pockets!

@UtahGirl12 how long is the jumper you tried with it?

I would go for a jumper that has enough room to wear not tucked in but tucked under if that makes sense. I'll see if I can find an example of what I mean.

I think I’ll ask DH to give me the RocknRoll jumper for Xmas as I do ❤️ But have just paid £400 to get car repaired/MOT 😱(thinking of you @ella) and feeling extremely extravagant to keep just to satisfy inner rock chick.

utah I have the Marina snakeskin (I would, wouldn’t I ) and I’m short and curvy and to date it is the only Marina I can carry off fairly successfully as it seems to be less voluminous than the black and coloured versions and so very lovely to wear! I’ve worn mine with a thin and fairly fitted black jumper that finishes just below the waist. So look for something like that. OR you could tuck a silk shirt in or top if you put a belt on the waistband (to hide the elastic). Experiment as it really does look good on.

So like picture 1 - jumper isn't tucked into the waist but kind of tucked under so that it sits on the waist band.
Personally I'd avoid picture 2 where it's left untucked as it won't flatter the waist line where as tucked under it will give nice definition.

If you find a jumper too chunky you could try a long sleeve black jersey top.
I'd also wear it with a cami top and blazer for a more dressed up look.

Cross post with Soyo but I agree a silk shirt tucked in would also look good.

Thanks girls, some good suggestions, although I've never been able to carry off a silk shirt due to gapage at the front due to my huge norks! My black jumper is what I term a sort of normal length, maybe about hip length? I will def try it tucked under and tucked in with a black belt. Looking forward to seeing the pictures suggested.

utah it’s too dark now but tomorrow I’ll put on the skirt with the jumper I wore so you see how it looks on someone short and super curvy. Don’t expect the Hush model fabulousness but hope it’ll help you

Can't remember who else had the snakey marina on here and it may have been you Soyo but I remember some pics being posted and it looked great with a black jumper and biker boots. It might have been Laska.
I was very tempted by it and would wear with biker boots and slouchy jumper during the day with biker jacket and to dress it up I'd wear with a heeled boot, black silky cami top and blazer. Or a very fine knit sparkly black jumper.
