Actually ignore the Pinterest pics as she looks like she's got it tucked in. But the two pics I posted from the Hush site demonstrate a jumper with a midi skirt tucked up under rather than in.
It's a lovely skirt and I'm still tempted!

Just thought I’d let you all know, I ordered a skirt from John Lewis Hush a few weeks ago, and saw yesterday that it was reduced by 25%. So I phoned them and they have refunded me the difference in price. So worth keeping in mind for the future...

Hi I'm here , so much to catch up on. Thanks everyone for more good wishes.. I do need to read back , things do feel a bit unreal here,Ive been knocked sideways a bit . Back to work to day which felt really odd , and I'm not really keeping up with the goss .. so please do indulge me .. back in a bit when I have read through .

one thing s does seem odd though for a serial fashion shopper , Is that all the black Friday/ cyber Monday mega shopping deals just seem to have totally passed me by.! True I did buy practical things for the upcoming 'event' but other wise really cannot be at all interested .. (my lovely sylish DM would wonder what the heck has got into me!)

Just read the email regarding the new Hush Christmas jumpers. £200+ for a jumper they can jog right on!.. That is Exactly what I thought also Ella!

It was not me with the Snakeskin Marina, but i did post a coupl eof biker boots/ Hush black cashmere boat neck and tougher jumpers with the black and burgundy marina .

I would have bought the Charcoal b/f cashmere over the weekend at 25% off if they had had it in stock..

Cynical me is not really that surprised that (the hunted) Meryls came back in today!

I was a total Hushista today !! I wore my grey Meryl (XS even though I am a 36e so that is utterly stupid !) to work today with my charcoal L/L Tunder and the charcoal zebra leggings ..

Not boasting.. ( because it was an expensive and probabaly embarrassing venture in total greed ) but for new people here, I did go all out total bonkers - and ripped the credit card - and so have Meryl in both pink and grey . Hence user name.. ..

............I can only blame the dreadful Enablers on this thread , So Beware!!

I have the snake marina and I've never worn it 😳 Not that I don't like it, I love it, it's just I've not really had the occasion to, off to see Christine and the Queens in Manchester tomorrow night so might wear it then with my hush biker and uniqlo fine merino knit (these are good @UtahGirl12, very fine knit, I only paid £19 I think and delivery was super quick)

Gin poor you it’s been quite a while of being poorly but take it easy no point rushing back to work till you’re actually feeling well. Yes it’s good people pop in and remind us all of our fab things just waiting to get an outing so hope you have a good time tomorrow in the Marina snake. I’ve only worn mine twice (and got compliments too!) just for work dinners and must take it out more. The fairly light weight at least means it’s truly an all-season skirt.

@Laska2Meryls the photo of you in the grey jumper with skirt and biker boots is my absolute favourite and that's the one I was thinking of. I really love that outfit.

Are all Hush shirts a bitch to iron? I have the Sintra tattoo heart and it come out of the wash like a rag. It needs really careful ironing or it creates up. Ugh

What skirt are you wearing in that photo Laska? Is it the black marina?

The jumper is this one which is so much nicer IRL than the photo, being a lovely smoky ivory/grey.

Boots are Clarks about 5 yrs old and re heeled and soled every year since (have never found anything worthy to be their replacement yet!)

Marina skirts dont need ironing Whisky . Wash on 30 delicate/wool machine wash , hang on hanger to dry , job done

@GinandGingerBeer yes it was 2 weeks ago, I’m not sure what the longest period of time can be. I hadn’t worn the skirt yet so would have had to return and re-buy it.

Yes to tucking in jumpers, much more flattering. Jumpers over the top look better when oversized and slouchy.

Can I get opinions on these two jumpers please? I would really like a fair isle jumper and love this Anthropologie one but then saw the grey textured jumper and am now swooning!

Sorry @ella I think knowing you the grey is totally in your comfort zone (and yes fabulous too!) but you’d been wanted a change/Fairisle and this one is just beautiful, so elegant and understated with those colours...swoon
