I meant to also say that I send my sympathies to you Laska2Meryls ... I am a stranger to you I know ... but I send my best wishes during these hard times. Mums are so incredibly special Flowers

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 12:56

@WaterLilyThursday welcome
@SoyYo love the jumper and the scarf - really love the bag, it's very 'you', totally goes with your rock chick vibe.

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 12:57

@twosoups1972 is that the Sylvia jumper? If so I think there was a lot of love for it over the summer so it would probably sell well on eBay or on the Hush FB selling page.

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 12:59

waterlily, thank you, that’s so kind :). And now you’ve posted, I hope you stay and chat. :)

GinandGingerBeer · 26/11/2018 13:04

Welcome @WaterLilyThursday Wine This is indeed a truly special corner of MN, do you have a hush addiction too? Lovely comments you posted Smile

I've cracked and ordered the zebra print joggers and burgundy raglan. I'm sat at home having the most horrendous period cramps and couldn't find anything comfortable and comforting to wear, so ordered the as my xmas lounging round outfit.

I too have found something hush lurking at the back of my wardrobe unworn Blush Think I knew it wouldn't suit me but was about £12 in the sale. I'll post a pic in a bit, it's 'orrible on me but I couldn't face jeans today, hardens are tatty, dresses are too dressy. I'm difficult to please!

Sending you love and warm wishes Laska x

GinandGingerBeer · 26/11/2018 13:05

Ooh soya, love that bag! The paloma looks gorgeous too. Big thumbs up 👍

GinandGingerBeer · 26/11/2018 13:08

I don't think I got a BF discount @twosoups1972, although I did in my head as I thought it was £89 but was charged £79 so probably me reading the wrong currency on the tag. I did check on line while I was in the shop and there wasn't anything about BF discounts.

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 13:21

Hi waterlily thank you for popping in, and the ❤️ It’s the first time I’ve stuck around for a year + in a MN thread (I’m fickle me) and that’s a testament to the great ideas, intelligence, style, support and total non clickiness of the girls who post here. You’re always welcome to appear/disappear at your hearts content Wink

Thanks for the 💕 on my purchases @ella and @gin, with the new clutch for my work Xmas do I feel I’ll totally rock whatever I end up wearing. Btw did I tell you I’ve ordered the RocknRoll jumper?🤣🤣🤣
It’s so totally not my shape and so ££ that you’ve gotta laugh at my delusional purchases but put the word on it and I’m a sucker Grin I found myself looking at yet more biker leather jackets but determined not to succumb as I own so many already! I think my next “big” purchase will be the rather marvellous leather leggings a la “never” but hoping for a discount (pretty please Hush?)

handbagsandhairdryers · 26/11/2018 13:25

SoyYo may I ask how the plains jumper in blue is? just ordered one myself this morning (went for a medium and I'm a size 14) ...

handbagsandhairdryers · 26/11/2018 13:30

ella what trainers are you wearing in your post from what you're wearing on Saturday please? X

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 13:31

Hi Handbag the Paloma is lovely, very thin wool so it drapes well. I’m a 34FF on top but if it wasn’t for my big boobs I’m more of a true size 12 all over and only 5 3” tall. I went for S and on me it’s still nicely oversized but doesn’t swamp me at all.
It’s soft and non itchy so I think you’ll like it and the blue is not navy more of a nice mid blue shade.
Is that what you wanted to know?

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 13:56

I love that bag, soy. Also love the r’n’r jumper, can’t wait to see it. I did try it on in JL but even the ever positive personal shopper winced a little when she saw it on me. I’ve worn the tee shirt loads though.

After everyone’s encouragement I’ve ordered the cheapest, spikiest hair I could find in plumberry jam before the BF sales end. I have always, all my life, wanted to do something outrageous with my hair, but even on a good year it wouldn’t have tolerated processing and wigs used to be far too expensive to have more than one at a time. Now I’m wearing faux (or going bald) all the time, and wigs have changed so much, I want to try something crazy before I really am too old to do it.

WaterLilyThursday · 26/11/2018 14:13

Thanks everyone for the lovely welcome!! I would love to stick around and join in on the chat ... I fear for my wallet!!! Wink

Oh I can completely see why you would stick around on a thread like this @Soy - so welcoming and warm - and fun as well ... and, of course, for the Hush (and other!) clothing ...

@Gin - I think that the honest answer is yes Blush ... I do have a bit of a Hush addiction! Just thinking there of how many of their clothes I have bought since my first ever purchase (blue summer stella jumper in summer 2017) ... and it's actually a bit shocking! Most recent purchase is the famous Meryl (in pink)!! I was sure that I would return it and more just purchased it because of the amazing reviews but I didn't believe that it could be "all that" ... was I wrong?? I fell in love as soon as I bought it and couldn't bear to send it back. It's actually going to be my Christmas present from my brother+sister (I couldn't really 100% afford it due to also falling in love with a Sézane jumper so my sister kindly offered!!) ... so I can't wear it yet but I have tried it on with the Hush long dragonfly skirt from earlier this year (can't remember the name) and it goes really well! Sent my sis a photo of that combo and she agreed I should have it for Christmas. Anyway, I'll stop blabbing on - suffice to say that, yes, I do love Hush!!

Oh and @cherries, you're so welcome. Like I said, I couldn't let that photo go without a comment. If you don't end up keeping that jumper, I really think you need to get something else in that exact colour! It suits you so well

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 16:55

@handbagsandhairdryers they are from Espirit, a recent purchase, got them a couple of weeks ago.

dontcallmelen · 26/11/2018 17:08

Welcome Waterlily
Soy your haul looks very good & the handbag is really lovely & very useful I reckon as you can wear it so many ways.
cherries glad you going to give the plum berry a go, I think you will really suit it with your fab colouring.

dontcallmelen · 26/11/2018 17:12

Laska the Lucille is lovely, yy you are nice height, so length will look good on you.
Two agree if you are not feeling it, then think the jumper would get a good price on eBay, maybe try styling the skirt with different tops maybe thin tee/long cardi or slouchy jumper with tights/boots.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/11/2018 19:31

Hello :) I agree with everyone else @cherries, the jumper looks fantastic on you. The colour looks so good with your hair colouring and agree about your eyes popping out. Keep!
Mine came today too. Its really too dark to try on as I cant see the colour in the daylight but I agree about the nibbled cuffs and hem. I cannot believe that someone has hacked into a jumper like that. Saying that the cashmere is beautifully soft and I love the shape of it. No idea if the colour suits me as I cant see it in the dark so will report back.

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 19:47

@ilovecherries you have lovely eyes Smile

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 19:59

I am positively glowing today after all the lovely compliments :). Thank you 💕

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 20:01

I'm on the Hush site debating the multi faces tee and have just noticed the lovely leopard print silk cami, this would be perfect as a 'going out' top but why so short? I just couldn't get away with it unless worn with very high waisted trousers. If only it were a little bit longer it'd be perfect.
Anyone got it? Would like to see it in 'real life' if possible..

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 20:04

I’m currently differing over the faces tee as well, ella. I have had it before and sent back as I thought it was overpriced, but it’s a more sensible price now. —also looking at lulu cashmere—. Don’t know about leopard vest though, but it does look very short.

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 20:19

Shall we enable each other with the three faces tee? It's the cut and shape I like and I like how it's styled with the Sabrina cardigan..

NotAnActualSheep · 26/11/2018 20:20

I did wonder about the Paloma bobbling soy. I think as it has quote a lot of bamboo and cotton it shouldn't be too bad...but I'm usually wrong about these things... ( seems to be wool and acrylic that do it for me). My highly scientific evidence is that I have worn it today for one whole day, and it hasn't bobbled Grin.

Glad you've decided to go for the plumberry hair cherries. It'll look Fab! Though I'm not sure there's an upper age limit for that kind of thing... (having said that, I'm trying to wash out mine (hopefully!) and ask someone with more skill to do it for me...it was just very uneven, and more on the top of my hair than underneath. That'll teach me to think I have any skills at DIY hair. I liked the colour and concept, but the execution was pants.)

I'm intrigued at what horror is lurking in your wardrobe Gin! I'm sure it can't be that bad! Hope you're feeling a bit better now. Sounds like a lovely lounging outfit.

Hello handbags and waterlily. Be very, very careful of your wallets on this thread Grin. I'm still getting pink Meryl envy Envy. You're "exclusive" according to the chap at hush customer services, you know!

NotAnActualSheep · 26/11/2018 20:24
ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 20:42

I’ve ordered the tee :). I’m going to wear it with black trousers and my fake Sabrina.
