Lovely jumper gin, suits your shape with the skinny jeans.
not how is your hair today? The colour is fab and tbh I couldn’t see the scalp dyed pink so don’t worry!
Nice fake burgundy jacket @ella which reminds me to wear my burgundy suede biker more often it’s such a great colour and yes the Sainsbury’s jumper has that asymmetrical hem/Cross style which elevates it from boring grey jumper plus a v neck which is now flattering on my big boobs, anyway @ £4 must be this years most bargainous jumper! Grin

enabledlurker · 26/11/2018 10:30

Hi Cherries, love your hair and the jumper really suits you.....but nibbled edges on a new £££s cashmere,Confused?

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 10:31

Thanks soy, probably where I’m sitting as well wrt the trousers. It’s funny how you can want a thing for ages then just be a bit ‘oh’ when you finally try them on.

Laska, it’s funny, I barely recognise myself some days. I’m not really losing weight any more, but everything is still redistributing. Hope your day is as ok as it can be, and that are dad is coping.

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 10:31

Hi laska 👋👋👋 hope your day progresses well under the circumstances. Lucille dress? Link please I can’t find it Confused

GinandGingerBeer · 26/11/2018 10:38

I really like that colour on you Cherries. It make your lovely blue eyes stand out or 'pop' as the young uns say! The nibbled edges would annoy me personally, I thought it was a faulty jumper as I looked at the pic before reading your post.
But if you can get over them, then colour wise it's a hit. ( I'm a HOC autumn, but I just couldn't see what they were on about tbh, I looked awful no matter what without my face on Grin)
What about trying it with those white jeans that fitted you so well and some brown boots?
Bet they're too bloody big for you now aren't they? Wink

Ellapaella · 26/11/2018 10:57

@ilovecherries you look beautiful, the colour of the jumper really suits your skin tone and eye colour. You really do look lovely.
I'm still not really grasping the deliberate nibbled cuffs of a cashmere jumper.. is it really meant to be like that? How utterly utterly bizarre. I really don't get that at all.

dontcallmelen · 26/11/2018 10:57

Laska hope your day is ok 💐
Cherries the colour of the jumper is lovely I’m undecided about the nibbled bits, yy hair & looking fabulous, I have to agree with Soy on the trousers, think the jumper would look good with jeans or leather leggings.
Gin jumper suits you.
Not the hair looks good, pretty colour.

ilovecherries · 26/11/2018 11:09

Oh ella, my eyes just filled with tears at your post. Thank you. I still in my minds eye see a size 24, and then the baldness and the joke sized boobs and it’s very easy to be hyper critical of myself. It’s lovely torealise that’s not what others see. Beautiful is never a word I believed would be applied to me.

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 11:12

@GinandGingerbeer love the Cos jumper, did you get a BF discount? I was just thinking I haven't looked in Cos for a while.

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:13

Paloma jumper and tiger scarf arrived. ❤️❤️ The jumper is just like the v neck wide top but light wool, and the scarf I’m relieved to say looks/feels brand new (was concerned I’d get one reeking of Dior poison like cherries) and such a lovely Drapy weight and shade of red.
Just threw it on (excuse old jeans and slippers) to show you.
Because I’m short the length is perfect.

Hush Christmas - its a slipper-y slope and a ding dong meryl-y on high :)!
SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:14

cherries I second @Ella you are truly beautiful

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 11:14

Going back to Hush, I was looking through my wardrobe and found two items from Hush still with their labels attached that I've never worn Blush

One is a burgundy ruched skirt and the other a red jumper with navy trim. Will post photos in a minute.

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:16

And the RocknRoll little bag! Love love love! Velvet on one side, nice beading on the rock side.
Can be worn cross body or on shoulder or hide the chain inside as a clutch. I’ll wear this lots!
Super pleased with today’s parcel Smile

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 11:16

What do you think, wear or EBay?

soups I wear my burgundy ruched skirt lots so wear? (Assuming you still like) the jumper I’ve never tried and if you’re bored with it maybe you’ll get more £ ebaying?

Laska2Meryls · 26/11/2018 11:21

,Lucille dress.

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:24

Ah it was Boden laska I love it, hope it suits you the colour and pattern is gorgeous and you’re quite tall so you should be able to carry off with panache

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 11:27

Gorgeous outfit and bag @SoyYo

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:34

soups thank you and sorry I didn’t read your message properly now realise you’ve never worn!
I personally love the ruched burgundy skirt but can’t see if yours is the same as mine, mine is the heavy weight Winter one from last year and has uneven hem (like this years online version) and I find it very easy and comfy to wear usually with a looser jumper on top. Also Hush tend to reduce them quite a lot at sale time and repeat them every season which makes the potential eBay sale price lower.
But you need to try and see how much wear you’d get out of it.
Whereas the jumper is not repeated and so likely to achieve a better sale price and also brand new...
Does it make sense now?

twosoups1972 · 26/11/2018 11:48

Thank you SoyYo

I have a ruched skirt in blue/navy stripe that I wear all the time but usually as a summer skirt. I bought this burgundy one which I thought I would wear loads but it hasn't happened! I've got another burgundy Hush skirt (boucle) that I wear a lot.

Not sure about the jumper now, I really wanted it at the time but wondering now if it looks a bit school-y.....?

NotAnActualSheep · 26/11/2018 11:54

OMG cherries - your eyes look amazing with the jumper! You absolutely do look stunning. And your hair really suits the look too. I know what you mean about the cuffs, though. Why would they do that? TBH, I think they would irritate me - but I would wear cashmere for "best" rather than an around-the-house jumper, so it would take that use away for me, as i'm not trendy enough to rock the "distressed" look (ditto jeans with frayed knees..if my jeans got like that I'd throw them away!). I wouldn't be surprised if there were loads of them left come January sales for that reason...which is a pity 'cos hush cashmere does seem good quality. I agree with the others about the palazzo pants too - pity, but I'm sure you'll find some better. I got some cropped trousers from me and em and they were basically full length on me! But those do seem a bit of an odd shape.

gin - that meryl-a-like is lovely - it works really well with the rest of your outfit.

soy - the jumper and scarf look lovely! Im wearing the paloma and slippers today, too Grin. And I'm glad you love the clutch! That looks really useful for christmas things.

soups - I like both the jumper and the skirt and would wear (in fact, I love the jumper...but I'm realising this year that i have a bit of a jumper fetish that needs bringing under control)...but if you haven't worn so far, maybe they don't do the "sparking joy" thing?! I agree with soy's thinking that the jumper would probably sell better as its pretty unusual, and the skirt looks very versatile and could be styled in different ways, whereas the jumper is a bit more distinctive?

I like the lucille laska - i have been looking at it a few times in the various discount periods boden has been having - but end up discounting it as I think it will look a bit of a wrong length on me. And Ive got a few midi-length dresses that I don't wear enough. I think you're taller than me, though, so it should look good on you. Hope today goes well for you...

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 11:59

No I don’t think it’s like school uniform, if that’s what’s putting you off wearing, it looks to me like a more summer jumper which would look great with faded, black or white denim. Also could look good with plain denim skirt.
Ultimately the test for keeping is “do you feel like “you” and good wearing it.
Try on again and if the answer is “meh, not sure” then eBay as they’ll only end up hanging in your wardrobe...

SoyYo · 26/11/2018 12:05

Hello fellow homeworker not 👋 thanks for the clutch love, if it didn’t have RocknRoll on it I wouldn’t be quite so taken with it but my inner rock chick can’t resist! Grin
Btw one slight concern I have with the Paloma is that it looks like it could bobble quite easily? Love the shade and fit so will keep but hope I’m wrong as it’s such a versatile jumper and hides a lot without making me look huge (which very loose jumpers tend to do)
Anyhow back to work! Wink

Hi All, I often read this thread because I love Hush clothes (that is how I found you) - I have never joined in before but I had to post just now after seeing that photo that you posted Cherries - I thought it was a photo of the jumper from the website (i.e. somebody modelling it!) when I saw it first. You are very beautiful. It's funny how we get hung up on the parts of our bodies that we like the least and fail to see the beauty. The colour is just gorgeous on you. I agree with the others re the cuffs though - very annoying for cashmere. Anyway, since I am here I also want to add that you are such a warm and truly LOVELY group of ladies! Often brightens up my day to read your posts to see how much goodness there is in people and in the world.
