OMG cherries - your eyes look amazing with the jumper! You absolutely do look stunning. And your hair really suits the look too. I know what you mean about the cuffs, though. Why would they do that? TBH, I think they would irritate me - but I would wear cashmere for "best" rather than an around-the-house jumper, so it would take that use away for me, as i'm not trendy enough to rock the "distressed" look (ditto jeans with frayed knees..if my jeans got like that I'd throw them away!). I wouldn't be surprised if there were loads of them left come January sales for that reason...which is a pity 'cos hush cashmere does seem good quality. I agree with the others about the palazzo pants too - pity, but I'm sure you'll find some better. I got some cropped trousers from me and em and they were basically full length on me! But those do seem a bit of an odd shape.
gin - that meryl-a-like is lovely - it works really well with the rest of your outfit.
soy - the jumper and scarf look lovely! Im wearing the paloma and slippers today, too
. And I'm glad you love the clutch! That looks really useful for christmas things.
soups - I like both the jumper and the skirt and would wear (in fact, I love the jumper...but I'm realising this year that i have a bit of a jumper fetish that needs bringing under control)...but if you haven't worn so far, maybe they don't do the "sparking joy" thing?! I agree with soy's thinking that the jumper would probably sell better as its pretty unusual, and the skirt looks very versatile and could be styled in different ways, whereas the jumper is a bit more distinctive?
I like the lucille laska - i have been looking at it a few times in the various discount periods boden has been having - but end up discounting it as I think it will look a bit of a wrong length on me. And Ive got a few midi-length dresses that I don't wear enough. I think you're taller than me, though, so it should look good on you. Hope today goes well for you...
