Both duchesses really look good in the warm berry tones. Really suits them both. Meghan looks good, weather appropriate and stylish! I'm not sure about Kate's suit. She originally wore it in 2012. She's very slim and has good legs, but I don't think the proportions work well. Her hair is a few shades lighter, it suits her.

The colour is beautiful but the cut and length of the skirt are a bit odd.

Metallic silver would look great on the Duchesses. Yes, metallic silver sequins.

The cut and fit of DOC outfit is very dated,I doubt an Alexander McQueen or Chanel suit would look this dated.

I do like MM's look today - she looks great. I wonder if it's because she feels more at ease when involved in a cause that she can relate to.

Not keen on that suit of KM's. I think the skirt is too short.

I agree queen DOC outfit looks very dated, I really dislike above the knee flippy skirts they are a bit school girl in my opinion.

Kate's suit is a bit girlish but at least she isn't dressing 20 years older than her age, for a change! The jacket is ok but the skirt is a bit 2008. Lovely colour on her though.

I’m a big D of C fan but I don’t like the suit with black polo neck and tights. Have you heard the expression “black cheapens colour”? I think if she had gone with berry tones or another colour, maybe a soft brown (?) I’m not sure what, but the black coordinates are definitely helping to date her look.

A little bit on what Kate's visit to UCLH was about. It's all to do with her big project to give kids the best start in life and especially help kids from deprived backgrounds.

I think it was Trinny and Susannah who brought in that black cheapens colour back in the 90’s, I sort of agree, I don’t like a bight red top with black trousers for example, the contrast always looks too harsh to me, I love black with muted tones or as an accent/accessory to a colour like Meghan demonstrates well here.

I love that green dress of Meghan's, it's one she should definitely bring out again next summer.

I have to say it is quite endearing that KM sometimes gets it wrong and doesn't always look polished. I like how unselfconscious she seems.

Apparently Charles suffers from rosacea and his swollen fingers are caused by arthritis. He has always had sausage fingers though. It was one of the first things his mother remarked on when he was born.

Kate more often gets it wrong in my book! It's rare she has a hit.
