Just don't read the comments Grin

VanillaSugary · 12/11/2018 19:37

@Spudlet It was the Vogue centenary edition in 2016. She definitely wore bootleg denim dungarees.

Spudlet · 12/11/2018 19:41

I believe you! Am still scrolling through - I'm as far as the New York trip in 2014.

Never, ever read the comments - this is my recipe for a happy life generally Grin

itswinetime · 12/11/2018 19:43

Not a great pic but here are said dungarees

Dear oh dear Kate looks like Jane’s understudy from Rod, Jane and Freddy!

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/11/2018 19:49

Those dungarees were last seen on Felicity Kendall in The Good Life!

Yeah I don't think it's a look that needs recycling 😂

Spudlet · 12/11/2018 19:52

Oy. Least said soonest mended...

Spudlet · 12/11/2018 19:54

Some of her dresses though... gorgeous! I wonder how she keeps track of what she has? When you see them all lined up in chronological order, years go by before she rewears sometimes - surely she can't remember all those clothes? They must be catalogued somehow, right?

Batteriesallgone · 12/11/2018 20:09

If you enjoy choosing them you’d remember I’m sure. Organisation by colour would be the easiest thing I’d imagine, with a label on the hanger noting date of last wear / level of function. That’s what I do in my dreams where I have an amazing fantastic wardrobe and staff BlushGrin

Spudlet · 12/11/2018 20:10

I imagine a spreadsheet, which probably says quite a lot about me Grin

itswinetime · 12/11/2018 20:11

I presume not everything is saved only dressed that she particularly likes/thinks works and then yes there must be a system

Anne is anothe big recycler and as her size hasn't changed from what I can see 50+ years of outfits means there would is a dress catalogue next to the jewellery and shoe catalogue I would love to have a browse through them!

beanaseireann · 12/11/2018 20:11

Don't the Gloucesters fly under the radar re the royal family.
I noticed the Duchess of Gloucester at the service yesterday.

PennyMordauntsLadyBrain · 12/11/2018 20:15

I quite like those dungers Blush

She’s tall and slim- she’s probably part of the 1% of people that could pull them off without looking like a painter/decorator

RainbowsArePretty · 12/11/2018 20:17

Batteries I imagine she will have a lady in waiting or a PA who keeps a spreadsheet. I imagine not only of the clothing & event but the accessories & jewellery worn too.

peridito · 12/11/2018 20:23

Dungarees

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/11/2018 20:27

@beanaseireann Yes, they were there. She wears some interesting outfits too and was in a black velvet dress yesterday. The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael also attended, but not their wives. I think Duchess is not at all well these days.

TipseyTorvey · 12/11/2018 20:29

@spudlet i love a good spreadsheet too but I bet there's an app with a mix and match carousel for executive wardrobes with alerts stating date last worn and ideal accessories. If there isn't someone needs to write one quick.....actually I need one!

QueenOfTheAndals · 12/11/2018 20:33

Here's some of Birgitte Gloucester's ensembles. I liked the orange dress and the black velvet very much and that headband is insane!

Clothes that a toddler would wear should never be graced by a Princess of the Realm!

LonnyVonnyWilsonFrickett · 12/11/2018 20:37

Not a fan of the dungies, but how nice is her make up? She looks decades younger without that black eyeliner.

mikado1 · 12/11/2018 20:38

Thanks kooshbin and Queenoftheandals for the eyeliner tips! Curly, didn't spot the next skirt in the other threads! Fast moving alright!

SenecaFalls · 12/11/2018 20:38

I did read somewhere that Anne does have a catalogue and system for keeping up with her clothes, aided by staff of course. And it's a lot of clothes.

beanaseireann · 12/11/2018 20:39

I do like a nude wedge shoe myself. Elongates the legs without the pain of heels.

I just don't get the hate
