The Baukjen ones are lovely cherries and that look fab styles with the Veja trainers. Definitely go for black. I'm so jealous!

Ellapaella · 09/11/2018 19:10

They look fab

Ellapaella · 09/11/2018 19:11

And that jumper the Baukjen model is wearing is also lovely - a perfect match for the leggings.

I have a lot of ebay money, as I’ve been selling almost non stop all year. It does feel very extravagant and will be the most expensive thing I’ve ever bought, but I think I will order them to try.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 09/11/2018 19:45

Well the only thing I have ever bought that has been more expensive was my toast cheaney boots. They were dearer. The only other thing that wasn't as expensive was when I got my first teaching job and finished my qualification - a hobbs deep red coat. I remember seeing it in one of the glossy magazines like vogue. It was nearly £300. It was beautiful. I was gutted when I sold it on ebay for not much :( That was a number of years ago when I just started out selling. Sold it at the wrong time of year.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 09/11/2018 19:46

I still have my cheaney boots and will never sell them. They are just stunning and will never date. I wore them quite a lot last year when I went to Norway.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 09/11/2018 19:47

I have been selling too and I still am. Had quite a bit of cash In my account but have bought my cashmere jumper etc with the proceeds and a few other pieces so only have a bit of it left.

Laska3Meryl · 10/11/2018 13:56

Going back to velvet puffer jackets - the green Whistles one I was after has come back into stock in a S in John Lewis:

www.johnlewis.com/whistles-iva-velvet-puffer-jacket-green/p3364098?size=s

I also really like the black Hush one and the navy Monsoon one!

Laska3Meryl · 10/11/2018 14:41

That green one is lovely twosoups is it your size? I wasn't bothered about a hood on mine , (although may regret that later)..and its not a rainy day coat anyway but I have nice furry/ sheepskin hats I like to wear in the winter anyway

twosoups1972 · 10/11/2018 17:18

Thanks laska I’ve tried on the M which was too big so the S should be ok. Not sure if I can justify another coat though!

ilovecherries · 10/11/2018 17:30

I’ve seen that irl, twosoups, it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s not my colour, but having tried this one, the Hush one and finally bought the Monsoon one, I’d say that whistles one was the best cut. Had they had it in navy or wine, I’d have chosen it. If you like the colour then I think it’s a great buy.

Ellapaella · 10/11/2018 18:27

Nice coat Soups. Sweaty Betty are also doing a very nice velvet puffs this season.
I've just ordered These leather look leggings from Mint Velvet. I have a pair but they are a few years old now and starting to look a bit worn on the knees. TOGETHER15 is giving a 15% discount at MV today.
Has anyone got anything from Boden with the 25% discount? Apart from the grey coatigan nothing is tempting me bit even with a discount t I don't think it's worth the price for yet another grey cardigan that will no doubt bobble in a few weeks.

miffy2 · 10/11/2018 18:28

I took delivery of 8 (!) jumpers between yesterday and today. I mostly order online in various sizes and bring my returns to the store where possible as I can never find the sizes I want in the stores themselves.

Anyway the two from Zara are going back. The pink roll neck was massive and very very neon pink. Too much WOW factor for me to carry off.

The other one I bought was over-sized and red but the shade of red wasn't great on me.

Three jumpers in various sizes from H&M - I am keeping the grey one that I love, and has been bought by others, in Medium and also keeping it in cream (the IRL shade is a bit deeper than the photos online). Weirdly though, the medium is much bigger than the large! I don't know whether to order another Medium or just keep the large as it is quite small.

The third jumper looked way better online than IRL, especially the colour, so it is going back. The shade of beige is just blah on me.This one:

Ellapaella · 10/11/2018 18:36

Miffy your H&M deliveries came quick, mien hasn't even been dispatched yet 😢 I'm hopelessly impatient at waiting for online deliveries! I need it now!
Ordered myself the below leggings to wear with my new turquoise jumper and black trainers when they arrive.
Is the ribbed jumper the one you linked the other night? It's very nice.

Ellapaella · 10/11/2018 18:37

*mine hasn't been dispatched yet is what I meant! My iPhone autocorrect has a mind of its bloody own! It seems to change spellings and words after I've finished and sent 😡

Ellapaella · 10/11/2018 22:42

otherstories version of the Meryl anyone? Half the price.. they do lovely knitwear.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 02:20

@ella, i saw those leggings too and thought they looked great. Can you post a pic when you get them? Also love to see the jumper with them😀 love h&m jumpers atm.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 02:21

That meryl lokka likey looks great.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 02:21

Look a likey!Blush

Ellapaella · 11/11/2018 09:50

I actually really like this dress.. haven't got much spare money now but would love this for nights out. Love it styled with the black biker jacket.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 10:08

That is a gorgeous dress Ella. Do they do s skirt? I was in JL just when the winter stock came out and saw an asymmetric skirt with that red print. It was a beautiful red. The thing With MV is their materials let them down. I have ordered a few things in the past and the material has felt 'cheap'. It may be lovely though. I think it eould look lovely on you. They may have a sale before xmas. Most do. Think even Hush sale was earlier last year.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 10:11

Yeh it was the salma print skirt which is a horrible shape. The print is stunning.

Ellapaella · 11/11/2018 10:42

@Alwaysasparklymoment99 yes I've fallen foul of MV a few times. The actual fit often looks very different in RL to how it does on the models. I would need to try this on in store. I love the print though.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 11/11/2018 11:57

The print is beautiful. The red is a stunning colour. The skirt is hideous though - shape wise. The dress looks lovely but I agree that the shape is a hit or miss. I think the styling and material is quite 'complicated' sometimes with delicate polyester slips attached that make the sit awkwardly if your body shape differs from the model. Probably find that they have many of the dresses pinned back!!! I agree about trying instore. I see the material is polyester but I know hush uses that a lot but to be fair, it has come a long way feel wise.
