Lovely boots, always. I’m finding New Lovely k footwear surprisingly good. Yep, I loved the faux leather leggings from Sosander, really cosy with the fleecy lining. And last years leopard coat. Their shirts are all polyester unfortunately, and their knitwear has a lot of acrylic, so not so keen on them.

We popped back to Scotland for the weekend, I was feeling ridiculously homesick for some reason. Haven’t done much, although DH cleaned the kitchen properly and I tidied the garden for winter. DD actually keeps the house fine and keeps the grass cut but the concept of dismantling the cooker hood or cleaning on top of the kitchen cupboards would not be tasks she would see as necessary!

We’ll head back about lunch time tomorrow. DD’s wee car got through its MoT on Friday but she got an advisory on the tyres and I don’t want her driving with poor tread once the roads get icy, so I said I would take her for new tyres before we leave. What were we saying upthread about adult student children. Hmm.

New LOOK. Don’t know where that lovely came from.

MaryJenson · 18/11/2018 08:53

These MV leggings.
Talk to me about size and length please 😊

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 18/11/2018 10:33

I don't have them @Mary but I am sure that @Ella and @Dave and even @fairies have them [looks like she is wearing hers in the picture above?] if you hang around I am sure they can talk to you about them. @Laska ordered them too but I think she was sending hers back.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 18/11/2018 10:34

If they are the leather look ones that everyone has been purchasing lately.

twosoups1972 · 18/11/2018 11:13

@MaryJenson I've ordered the MV leggings, I think they come up quite generously cut. I'm normally a 12 (sometimes 10 on the bottom half) and have ordered a S in both short and regular lengths to try. Think they are arriving tomorrow, I will report back! I'm 5'3" btw.

Ellapaella · 18/11/2018 11:52

Hello all, just logged in - been away with some friends Friday and Saturday night. Just catching up with thread.
@MaryJenson I am 5'7 and a standard 10 and have the medium regular MV leggings and they are a perfect fit.

Ellapaella · 18/11/2018 11:53

And sorry yes it's the leather look leggings.

Ellapaella · 18/11/2018 11:54

@Alwaysasparklymoment99 love your New Look boots. I think NL have had a great season - really nice things in and good value for money too.

Missbobbins · 18/11/2018 12:51

Anyone? 😂

Here are the Hushistas - counting down for a Very Meryl-y festive season
Missbobbins · 18/11/2018 12:52

With regard to the MV leggings - I am a 16 (with a considerable belly) and have the Large, so I think the sizing might vary... xx

Missbobbins · 18/11/2018 12:54

@Coriander71 I have a similar dress from a couple of years ago which is navy with flowers - I wear navy tights and navy short boots with a small heel (they are both suede and leather) and have had so many compliments that I think the combo must work! And it's soooooo comfy! Xx

ilovecherries · 18/11/2018 13:56

missbobbins 😂😂

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 14:48

Miss please get me a front row ticket, I can use the programme as a fan😂

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 18/11/2018 14:49

Love the menopause the musical @Missbobbins. Love to see the music/dance for hot flushes!!!!! ha ha ha Grin

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 14:51

Not I really like the velvet jacket, saw it a few days ago & was really tempted but I really really don’t need another jacket, yy thou you could wear it with jeans & ankle boots for a more casual look especially this time of year or dress it up with smart trousers/dress/skirt.

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 14:55

Just had a mega tidy up, done some washing n ironing had dgd last night she had me up at seven, so not to bad she peeped over her cot at 4am saying ‘Hello Nana, it’s morning I come in with you now’
Dh been out in the garden all afternoon, raking/tidying & mucking about in his shed.

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 14:56

Sorry meant to add Welcome to new posters.

Ellapaella · 18/11/2018 15:24

Aw len your DGD sounds very cute.
When my youngest ds was about a year old he sat up in his cot one morning, looked at DH and I and said 'Cock a doodle doo'. It was hilarious- we've never forgotten it as we really had no idea where he'd got that from or that he'd understand cockerel's wake up and make that noise at sunrise Grin

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 15:39

Ella 😂 they are so funny at that age & really do come out with stuff that you have no idea how they know.
She stands leaning over the cot, with all her worldly goods in her hands (bottle, comfort blanket, numerous soft toys one called wah wah as she can’t say Koala) & you know no point in refusing she is coming in with you.

Ellapaella · 18/11/2018 15:39

Aw that's so sweet! Smile

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 15:50

Ella at the risk of sounding really soppy & 🤢 she is the light of my life & days when I’m not that well she makes me push myself so that we do fun things I want to be fun Nana, not half dead ol bag Nana 😃

fairiesandelves · 18/11/2018 16:40

Yes alwaysassparkly I'm wearing the MV faux leather leggings in the photo. I'm a size 16 5ft7 and got the large. I always get the large in any MV leggings I buy. Perfect fit.
Just one thing - beware them riding down at the back when sitting and napkins can slip off your lap - I had to tuck mine into my waistband haha. Also .. had to take mine off on the back garden last night as I was worried my dogs would have jumped and scratched them. Pity the neighbours Confused

twosoups1972 · 18/11/2018 17:08

Happy Sunday everyone. Feeling down today, my 11 year old dd (on ASD spectrum) managed to spoil yet another outing, just a family trip to local market. Come home, everyone feels shit, dd apologised but I’m feeling so resentful 😢

dontcallmelen · 18/11/2018 17:12

twosoups aww that must be so difficult for you all, I feel for you 💐
