I have always forgotten names. Even of people that I have known for years. Sometimes I turn round to say their name and it slips. However that is normal for me. Its funny though, I can remember 30 childrens names after a few weeks in the class!!!!

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 15/11/2018 22:49

I never forget important peoples names like my brothers etc. Its always people at my work.

Ellapaella · 15/11/2018 22:50

Yes Dave get thyroid and Vitamin D levels checked too. It all sounds very hormonal!

Ellapaella · 15/11/2018 22:50

Thyroid function blood test I mean

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 15/11/2018 22:50

Sometimes I get my childrens names muddled up though when I am calling them and had a real laugh this morning when my dh called for our son and used my name ha ha ha..... I think he came over all a bit sheepish about it.

DavetheCat2001 · 15/11/2018 22:54

I was tested for anaemia/thyroid/hormone levels etc a couple of years ago and apparently all was fine. It was when my depression was bad and I wanted to rule out anything physical.

I think I should get re-tested though as I am just so knackered and my hair is really worrying me.

Always I'm forever calling my son by my daughters name and vice versa..drives them mad!

Late to the eves chat...who are you ladies?? Grin
I could tell you a tale or two about menopause woes (mine was sudden for no apparent reason at 40 years old) but I’m wound up by the news at the mo and the reason I got distracted, plus we’ve just watched a weird horror movie on Sky (DH’s choice) bound to get bizarre dreams tonight Hmm

It’s good you’re talking about this, there seems to be a conspiracy of silence around menopausal experiences and it’s time we realised it’s a phase of growing older which needs to be understood and supported till we come out wiser at the other end.

Tell you what I don’t regret though: since becoming post menopausal I don’t suffer fools gladly anymore. I used to be far too accommodating and too nice to people and now I’m becoming a bit of a dragon Grin

Grumpy old lady 🤣 I love not giving a damm and speaking my mind these days...
Night night don’t let the bedbugs bite!

Magnesium citrate is a good suppliment to help sleep and brain fog am told. I bought a big bottle of it, but keep forgetting to take itGrin.
Only slightly Hush today wearing grey soft top and charcoal jeans. Ash star trainers. But off to see parents again. Furniture moving at thier house in prep for some adapted stuff for mum. However no date yet when she may come home.
Len totally life changing experience then ,but I have never noticed anything in your posts to suggest that you had any difficulty. My frequent dreadful spelling errors are simply down to being a rubbish typist!

We were out last night, so just catching up now and nodding away. My 50s were the worst decade of my life, but never sure how much was down to menopause and how much was down to the fact I was in such extreme pain and living in an opioid haze I feel my life stopped between 47 and 59 and now I’m trying to work out who I actually am, what I like etc and doing it all at 60. If I let myself get maudlin about it I feel really sad about all that lost time, but I’m trying to look forward positively, which I manage about 80% of the time. The rest of the time I moan a lot Grin.

DavetheCat2001 · 16/11/2018 09:40

Morning ladies..I am finding thesedays I care less and less about stuff including what people think of me.

Things that in my 20's and 30's would have stressed me out and sent my anxiety through the roof, I just don't bother about anymore.

There are clearly benefits to middle age 👍

Just wanted your opinion, thinking of wearing the MV leggings with the Hush wide top for a night out next weekend with my Boden boots. Does it work better with a bit of ankle showing or none? 🤔

Is it meant to be black Friday today or next Friday?
@cherries, you have done really well both in weight loss and in keeping a positive outlook :)
Mary You are welcome on the thread any time. Feel free to post.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 16/11/2018 09:43

None @dave. It always shortens the leg. The outfit is exactly what I am wearing!!! How odd is that?

ilovecherries · 16/11/2018 09:51

Me, too, almost! I’m wearing next coated leggings, green wide top, Fly ankle boots and double star necklace.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 16/11/2018 09:52

I don't have the MV leggings though. I have my next ones on as I am too scared to wear my leather ones. I might change later. I don't have your gorgeous boden boots either but have my hush trainers on.

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 16/11/2018 09:52

OMG you are almost like me then cherries!!!!! ha ha ha ha.....

ilovecherries · 16/11/2018 09:53

Thanksgiving is 28 Nov, so I think that means Black Friday will be 29th?

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 16/11/2018 09:53

I could also put on my double star necklace @cherries!!!

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 16/11/2018 09:54

I think in the UK googles says next Friday?
