Len, Miss Bobbins, Soy, you all look fab in your leggings. I quite like my legs, so I’m happy to have them on show. I think leather leggings in winter are chic, because they look gorgeous with chunky knitwear.

Laska3Meryl · 14/11/2018 20:53

Have yours arrived yet cherries? Were they the Bajuken (sp?)ones?

OP posts:
Missbobbins · 14/11/2018 20:55

@Laska3Meryl the top is a hush wide top, I bought the wrong size so it's massive (next size down was oos), but sooo comfy!
The dress was a new look bargain, am planning my leather jacket too for total rock chick look ( more like haggard old chicken but will try it!!) 😂

I am so inspired by you lot, through everything you are all going through personally you all still remain so positive and supportive of all of us. You girls really lift my spirits when things are not what they should be.... I thank you all for that... 💞

fairiesandelves · 14/11/2018 20:59

Hi been lurking here and invested in the MV coated leggings. Not sure they're totally me but I'm keeping anyway lol. Should I wear them with a long top to cover my bum ? And biker boots?

ilovecherries · 14/11/2018 20:59

Yep, the Baukjen ones. They arrived in the newsagent twenty miles away this afternoon. I’d driven past it on my way home and the text arrived just as I pulled into the drive. Argh. Will collect them tomorrow.

dontcallmelen · 14/11/2018 21:04

Miss 😘

ilovecherries · 14/11/2018 21:05

I like my belly and any potential camel toe covered, fairies.

Missbobbins · 14/11/2018 21:07

Hi @fairiesandelves - welcome.

That's what I will be wearing them with. But I am sure the others can give you countless ideas! :)

Missbobbins · 14/11/2018 21:07

@ilovecherries - 😂

Laska3Meryl · 14/11/2018 21:08

Ella the Boden poinsettia sparkle Breton came back in my size and just fell into my bag, along with another T to make up the value as I also had a 20% code Thanks for your voucher! Xxxx Flowers

Welcome flowersandelves...I had been wondering earlier (as Dave had said that the MV leggings had suddenly came out of stock ) if we had been inspiring any lurkers!!. This is a dangerous thread to be on , but we are all quite fun! long top and bikers sound great , . do post us a photo if you are feeling brave.. (we are a nice supportive lot and do love to see how things work on real people )

fairiesandelves · 14/11/2018 21:20

It's a lovely thread and yes you all inspired me. I was going to ask about camel toe or wondered if it was just me lol cherries
I have a cat called Dave by the way Dave

NotAnActualSheep · 14/11/2018 21:53

Sooo many posts - and some great photos!

@MaryJ - I've got that skirt too (it's lovely..good choice Grin) but am no guru when it comes to styling. always had to point out to me that the spots were deep green and not dark grey, which is how good my eyes are... and I have a simple forest green jumper that works well. Or black shirts/ jumpers that aren't too long, or can be pushed up to sit on the waist. As the drapey bit is at the top I think that needs to be uncovered. Footwise, I've only worn black ankle boots - either flat or with a slight (chunky) heel - or longer black boots. It would probably work with trainers or similar too, but Ive only worn it in a work situation!

@len - your jumper and MV leggings look amazing! Definitely keep. And you've got me on the MV website again looking up the jumper...

@ella - I love those esprit trainers too. That reminds me that some of the comfiest ones I ever had were from esprit about 15 years ago or more. I wrecked them by dropping concentrated sulphuric acid on them (a long story) and was so sad. And they did at least do a good job of protecting my feet...

@cherries - I totally understand about the surgery. It must be a nightmare for you - particularly the skin thing (ouch). I have no recommendations, but obviously make sure you are happy with whichever surgeon you go with, even if it means waiting a bit longer. Flowers

(hang on - I need to have another look at the next lot of posts....)

dontcallmelen · 14/11/2018 22:03

Note to self, take more pics tomorrow check for camel toe😂
not I was really surprised how nice the jumper is, has some nice detail on it & sooo comfy.

Coriander71 · 14/11/2018 22:03

I got the MV leggings after hearing all your love for them and I do love them too, very much, (they’re so comfy apart from anything else), even though they are not something I would have considered myself in - and despite my DH saying they reminded him of black pudding!!! So not the look I was going for.... (he is a lovely man really).

Laska3Meryl · 14/11/2018 22:10

Coriander hello! Black Pudding!!!!, eh, Wot?

Have an MN LTB!!!! GrinGrin...

If I do keep my MV leggings my DH won't see them until the weekend (as he works away).. I'm hoping he will find them Quite Naice.. ( or morepreferably Pwhoar!! , actually not.. I am 60 and he is 58 !! WinkGrin

twosoups1972 · 14/11/2018 22:10

@dontcallmelen the leggings look great on you Smile

NotAnActualSheep · 14/11/2018 22:12

@missb - those look brilliant - both the leggings and boots! And thats a really pretty dress. (they both are..)

@Laska3Meryl - I can't believe you're considering not keeping a Meryl! ShockShockGrin

DH has just noticed that I'm posting and has asked if its a shoe thread. I said, no, its a thread about leather leggings, and he looked at me like I was bonkers, and then grinned. Not sure what that means... I'm still waiting for the sosandar ones - i caved and ordered the MV ones too as they all look so good on everyone. Not entirely sure the thighs are going to love them (Grin @ black pudding..), but I'd never even have tried last month...

And hi @fariesandelves and @coriander. Be careful here... I only came on to ask for opinions on a jumpsuit a couple of weeks ago, and here I am (not quite) with leather-look leggings, having spent over £100 on a single jumper... (I NEVER spend that much on a jumper).

WineGin and Cake to all in the virtual hotel bar... You're all lovely.

Laska3Meryl · 14/11/2018 22:12

Right Brew.. see you Fine Hushistas tomorrow.. x

Coriander71 · 14/11/2018 22:17

Thanks Laska - In his defence , he does really like black pudding 😂
I’m going to brave it out and wear them with v.long jumper and trainers (or possibly brogues) - I think; on me, they need a little bit of ankle showing - bikers didn’t look right (although they look great on all the pics on here)

Coriander71 · 14/11/2018 22:20

Yes sheep, I can see this thread is a slippery slope!

dontcallmelen · 14/11/2018 22:23

coriander & fairies welcome it can be a very dangerous place but also the loveliest full of support & humour.

twosoups1972 · 14/11/2018 22:24

Damn this thread, I’m tempted by the MV leggings now! Can someone advise me on sizing! I’m 5’3” with slim hips (size 10).

hendricksy · 14/11/2018 22:28

I'd get small@... I'm bigger and shorter and got medium short . They are plenty big enough . Much bigger than their normal leggings .

Alwaysasparklymoment99 · 14/11/2018 22:33

Black pudding hee hee hee…..Welcome @coriander and @fairies. Yes, its a slipper slope...
