Hi all...hope everyone is keeping well.

Just wanted to pop on to add my admiration for Always' leather leggings! They look fabulous!

I have a pair of coated black trousers that I got from 7 for all Mankind a couple of years ago when I was a lot skinnier. I can just about get into them now but they are low-rise so my muffin top hugs out the top (nice) and it looks like I have a builders bum if I bend down...maybe not eh!

Yeay soup good call! I think winters suit jewel type strong colours which is the case with that lovely forest green. I’ve never had my colours done but suspect I’m an autumn as my skin tone is light olive/warm and have a lot of reddish tones in my brown hair. Light brown eyes too.
Look at your veins: are they mostly blue or green? That determines whether you’re warm or cool toned.
If you go to the Kettlewell site they have a fun online quiz to guess your ”season”. I’m mystified by all the scarf wearing faffing to “determine” your season...if you like how it makes you look in my book that’s a winner!

I bought a great cowl neck jumper in burgundy to go over my mv leggings .. it's really nice and shapely with a dipped back . Looks great 🤗

I have lots of things to comment on ( not least the giving up work stuff and how t makes you feel) BUT it will have to wait until tomorrow if you want lucid ( or anything like) . This is because I have just had a 45min (at least) conversation with my DSF (who is struggling with my DM's illness and hospitalisation massively ) and during it I stopped eating my dinner but carried on and drank half a bottle of .

Therefore am unqualified to say anything on the internet!!. However , i must just say that of all my MV deliveries the faux leather leggings ( which ella posteda photo ) were the absolute best and I really recommend them (i got the M reg ) and the ponte/faux leather treggings were a real disappointment ( being far too big and baggy everywhere but the knees which were too tight )

Glad you like the MV leggings, they are probably my most bargainous buy in a long time.

Laska probably best you carried on drinking🍷 it’s not always easy trying to console & soothe anyone who’s is struggling.

Dave I think Ella got the M reg as did I, they are a really good fit , as its free returns I would try both the S reg and M reg if i were you..

Yes Dave I got the medium in regular length. I think you are a bit slimmer than me so a small may be fine for you, I find in between a 10 and a 12 in MV as I think the sizing is on the small size. I'm 5'7 and the regular are a perfect length.

Probably not on the small size to be fair - just not as ridiculously oversized as Hush!

@Dave, glad to see you back on. Well noticed a stitch was a bit dodgy on the leather leggings so have sent for another pair and will send the ones I tried on back. Still keeping though. Thanks for the positive comment Dave. Leather and fake leather leggings are not like real leggings Please do post a picture when you try them on. @Laska, love to see you in yours too. [[[[[hugs]]]]]] about your mum. Must be so hard.

Oh and was reading seemingly we are in for some snow - end of November, December time. Holding out for a lovely white xmas. I love xmas but hate all the present buying!!! Thank goodness I only buy for my youngest and the MIL.

laska sorry I was so immersed in my self absorbed mehness that didn’t report back on the Hush shirt.
I like it but I’m ordering other alternatives from Boden and MV and then I’ll have a massive try on with the sequin skirt.
Jury still out, it looks lovely and a good generous fit but concerned about how it’ll wash and whether it’s worth the £ if the nice crinkly effect disappears after the first wash (plus it's polyester)
