Ella yes wide top would look fab. I think I messed up with mine though as I bought a small and it's a bit shapeless. I can't justify another one this year but would get an extra small if I ordered again. I still wear it loads but it's not a 'going out top' for me.

I'm going out in the evening tomorrow for the first time since ds was born 10 months ago 😳 No idea what to wear!

Oh, FFS - I don't need leather leggings, I will look awful in leather leggings, I have never had any desire for leather leggings - and yet, I've just ordered some. (These, just to be a bit different). Just to try the long shirt and chunky knitwear Meryl thing. What has happened to me ...

I think @cherries has leather look leggings from sosander. I am sure she commented favourably about them.

I remembered cherries had recommended the sosandar ones a while ago, and I've been wanting to order something from there for a while just to see what its like. (Never thought it would be leather-look leggings, though). They've got my address from somewhere and have been bombarding me with catalogues of tempting clothes (not sure why I'm encouraging them, really...). I may also have popped a velvet blazer in the basket too, just to see (and get free delivery).

I get Me&em, celtic &co, Sosander, Hush [well obviously] white stuff, white company and a company called bam. They sell clothes made from bamboo. Received a free pair of their bamboo socks. Lovely they are. Then a couple of weeks later received another pair in a different colour!!! I am delighted and they do feel nice on the feet. Hoping for a third pair.

Yes I have a couple of pairs of free Bam socks too. Very nice, especially as they're free!

I have only half FOMO (also had to look it up !) but am hoping good things from my MV leather look and ponte treggings. I. think they will be more 'me'

Lol @Laska3Meryl living up to (2/3rds of) your name . I'm still lusting after the pink but I think that ship has sailed...I keep missing returns on the website if there are any. Plus I DON'T NEED ANY MORE JUMPERS. Like your "treggings" though. Was tempted by a similar pair on the sosander site, but they didn't have my size.

I got some bam socks too. Fab stripey ones. Was v excited. Was absent-mindedly opening post while discussing a spreadsheet with a colleague over the phone, and unprofessionally said "ooh, socks" in the middle of our conversation... I think he now thinks I am a bit weird.

Understandably I get the brochures from companies I have bought stuff from, but also for far too ££££ stuff ( the fold, wrap London, poetry, iris and Poncey homeware stuff...) so they may just be trying to gauge my demographic by a scattergun approach. Bit of a waste of paper, but obviously works for them as I keep looking. It's getting a bit embarrassing to get "another dresses book" (as DS puts it).

Yes I should change to '2Meryl' sometime... So do you know do you get free socks Not ? I'd love some ..I have recently bought 5 pairs and a Bam top for DH christmas from them but no free socks came my way .

I first noticed leather look/ponte mix leggings/treggings (or whatever they are called) on some stylish fab Italian women of about my age in Florence last winter .. so I know I like the look.

All-over Faux leather I feel is not really me..although I have ordered the ones Ella has from MV to try , but so far the ones I have tried (Next ones) I looked a bit wrinkly sausage-y in ) but goes off to peruse Sosander

No idea how/why I'm afraid! They just appeared... I think it is a recent advertising campaign, so some may still come your way. Though maybe they think if you know how good they are already, no need to tempt you... (probably not a good marketing ploy generally, but hey).

I could kick myself for not using this - I just used the 10% sign-up code on the website and I wonder where all these brochures are coming from. (It was @huff saying they all have discounts in that reminded me to look at the one in the recycling box, but only after I'd placed my order...I'm such a plonker).

I'm assuming I'll channel the wrinkly sausage look - but worth a go, and @always and @ella look great in theirs (though of course they look great in everything ). I may try the combo ones later if they work for you.

These are skecher trainers - the street style ones, I probably bought them from amazon. Leather upper. These are just my Next coated leggings - I didn’t want to risk having leather ones delivered to the house as they would just have been left at the door, so they are C&C later in the week.

Do you think I should keep the colonoscopy coat? I do think I like it, and it’s very cosy. But I was half stoned when I bought it. It doesn’t make me look like an ACTUAL rotund teddy does it? Be honest!
