Here we go again!

Special edition: Eugenie wedding thread

Harry and Meghan have 2 days more in NZ before they head back to London and, if I was her, I'd put on pyjamas, get Netflix fired up, and not leave my bed for several days! William and Kate will be out for a sporty engagement in Essex tomorrow and I'm sure we'll start to see them more as she's now officially back from maternity leave..

No idea what the continental royals are up to but New My Royals (does that title even make sense?) is my go-to link for them!

Curly yes I think Kate has the "slim" gene definitely.

I wish I did, but I have the "giant arse gene" lol

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/10/2018 12:59

Meghan's worn a fair few British designers during this trip, interspersed with antipodean ones and the occasional American. And whilst Givenchy is her go-to label, the head designer there is a Brit.

We don't know anything about Kate's levels of discipline really. She could be one of those people who stuff their face but never gain a pound, for all we know!

Interesting response from Sophie and Kate on that video Curly - Sophie really seems interested in the display, where Kate (who I think is great) doesn't seem so involved. Maybe fashion really isn't her thing, as others have said.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/10/2018 13:19

I like Sophie's black and red dress in that clip but it's another Erdem shocker for Kate!

Kate is SOOO slim, but has such a lovely figure - curves in the right places. Good genes and brilliant discipline combined I imagine. Blimey, she looks amazing today.

BlingLoving · 30/10/2018 13:23

Also, I assume that Edward/ Andrew and to a certain extent Anne will take on the stuff the cousins (kents, gloucester etc) have been doing? Or perhaps not in light of the generally bad feeling towards Andrew. But certainly Edward and Sophie are pretty well established as the lesser royals who can still be wheeled out as needed in the same way the older generation have been for years.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/10/2018 13:35

@BlingLoving Your comment about your 3yo reminds me of what the daughter of a very image-conscious relative said when she was 4. She wanted to be a Victoria's Secret model!

Speaking of self-discipline, obviously Anne has it in full measure. To be that fit at her age is pretty impressive. I speak from experience. My slim gene worked pretty well right up to menopause. Then it turned on me.

Paradyning · 30/10/2018 13:54

I think Kate looks awful. Again. But I know I'm in the minority here.
Neck up beautiful and groomed etc etc. But the outfit is dreadful. The jeans too tight for her incredible legs.

QueenOfTheAndals · 30/10/2018 14:02

I preferred today's Kate look with the jacket. Without and it looks like she's working backstage at a West End show!

Kate’s jeans are not appropriate. Far too tight - she looks as if she is a pantomime lead in tights.

OutwiththeOutCrowd · 30/10/2018 14:28

Sometimes when people wear very tight dark skinny jeans, the overall effect is of having forgotten to put a skirt on over thick tights. The wearing of a jacket only seems to accentuate the 'something's missing' feel ....

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 30/10/2018 14:39

Looking great. Like the jacket, trousers a little too narrow.

Alwayscheerful · 30/10/2018 14:39

I do agree with you jacket and sweater are fab but bottom half is not a good look.

beanaseireann · 30/10/2018 14:43

I love the skinny jeans look.
Oh to have Kate's iron discipline figure. I bet she wouldn't have tucked in to the left over buttered chicken I found in df's house Blush
I love the navy dress on Meghan. She doesn't need jewellery with it.
Sometimes less is more.

LimpyLampy · 30/10/2018 14:43

Found you

LimpyLampy · 30/10/2018 14:49

I do not like Kate’s jeans and yes there is def a pool in BP. I remember reading Kate took George there when he was a baby. As many people (not me!) have little gyms set up in their standard houses, I’d say there is a full gym, personal trainers and personal chefs on hand in BP.

Clionba · 30/10/2018 14:51

I read an interview with Carole Middleton in the Sunday Times, just before the wedding. She said that they followed the Dukan Diet. She said she made cheese on toast for William, but neither she nor her daughters ate that. I think they exercise a lot and are very careful with what they eat.

LimpyLampy · 30/10/2018 14:54

William would be s pilot but Harry would long since have been kicked unceremoniously out of the army and would appear on rich boys living in London type tv programmes where he would drive fast cars and party hard.

SleepingStandingUp · 30/10/2018 15:06

Perhaps Louis, youngest and most indulged will become the model (inheriting Uncle James' looks) whilst Charlotte travels around the world giving rousing speeches on her new Env sustainable new technology that will alleviate poverty across the world. George who seems quite quiet will be an academic, maybe a lecturer in Art History somewhere posh

Clionba · 30/10/2018 15:14

I don't like Kate's outfit today. She looks as if she's wearing a jacket and tights. Skin tight jeggings with a tight top shows off her amazing slim figure and long legs, but I personally don't think the look is right.

BigGreenOlives · 30/10/2018 15:18

Andrew would be a surveyor working in Mayfair.

There was a pool in BP, my grandfather installed the boilers when my mother was v young. Going back to connections on a humble scale, the same floor sanders worked on my sitting room and the C’s apartment at Ken Palace. They were sub-contractors for K&W but friends of friends for us.

SilentIsla · 30/10/2018 15:18

The jacket is by some Canadian designer. Not trying to compete, I hope?

PawneeParksDept · 30/10/2018 15:26

A surveyor ? No

Andrew would be Sir Philip Green or similar
