@neveradullmoment99 I think they just don't give a toss! I notice they are using Hermes now though who in my experience are more reliable so hopefully it will actually turn up this time. We shall see.

Never the LL vest is still on 5 weeks waitlist in the Charcoal M!!!! Angry

Ellapaella · 06/11/2018 10:06

Actually I've just had a text from Hermes to say my parcel will be delivered today.
I'm going to order the glitter dress like yours Never - I fancy it for the party season, plan is to wear it with knee high block heel black suede boots and my pendant.

Hope you get your TP parcel soon @ella
Just had a look at the new things and have to say not tempted at present as I agree with not that I don’t have the figure for most or the lifestyle for that matter to get enough wear and I already own lovely evening wear.
Having said that Wink I have signed up for that work Xmas dinner/dance as some good colleagues DH has known too for years promised me we’ll get a table together which should be fun (but I’ll be driving that night so no alcohol which I prefer on that type of do anyway)
So I have a lovely gold sequin skirt which has only been worn once and I can pair with black kitten or high heels and fancy a new non strappy black top to go with it and my short velvet black jacket...I was eyeing up this which I think would look nice tucked in (then I could also shop for a nice belt lol!)
www.hush-uk.com/m/womenswear/daywear/tops/saffron_crinkle_blouse_pine.htm

In black not pine. What do you reckon? There’s plenty of stock so do I risk waiting to order/try hoping for a discount code?
And btw if there is a good discount code I’m ordering the leather leggings which I’ve lusted after for donkeys years and which do suit my lifestyle...Wink

Laska5772 · 06/11/2018 12:13

I like that blouse Soy had thought about it previously.

ilovecherries · 06/11/2018 12:24

I’ve just ordered the wide tip as a reward for only needing a small dose of oral Valium to get through my mri. There was a lot more room in there this year! Sitting in Silverburn contemplating a Zara teddy coat. Hmm, not sure if this is what they meant when they said not to make any big financial decisions till the sedative had worn off!

SoyYo · 06/11/2018 12:25

Yes laska I think it could go well with my sequin skirt which is now 2 years old, I googled it and attaching a pic of what it looks like (rose gold sequins, it’s pretty and deserves another outing)

cherries Grin

Laska5772 · 06/11/2018 13:55

Just been in Nextand have bought some burgundy coated skinnies.. this may be a bit of a departure for me... Hmm. They have a lot of Hush dupes inc wide(ish) Glitter tops

Laska5772 · 06/11/2018 13:56

Love the sequin skirtsoy !

dontcallmelen · 06/11/2018 13:59

Soy have sequin skirt envy, tis lovely.

GinandGingerBeer · 06/11/2018 14:40

I've seen the crinkly top in JL @Soy and it's gorgeous. It looks more charcoal than black though iirc, almost a pewter kinda colour.
The coated skinnies I'm sending back, looked like a great big fat sausage in them. I really want some though, any suggestions for some which don't look like my thighs should be between two slices of bread?
The sylvie blouse came and that's lovely. Wore it on Saturday with black hush blazer and new dune buckle boots which are also fab!
I also love the glitter wide top & if I can find some coated skinnies I might get it. But I do t need it, and have lots of stuff I've not worn yet.
The two wide jersey tops though, I've worn and worn so they've been good £ per wear! So I tell myself

SoyYo · 06/11/2018 15:04

Thank you for the sequin love, yes sequins are more bronze/rose gold than gold gold if that makes sense and thanks gin for the heads up on the black shirt I think I’ll order just hoping for a code but if not I’ll go ahead soon, had a quick look at other black tops from white company etc but either too expensive or not the look I’m going for (in my head) plus it should be easy to dress down with jeans or wear for work after the party.

On your hunt for skinny coated jeans I’ve got these from Boden (the coated style) and liked them enough to buy 2 pairs: 12 fit me well I’d say they’re TTS.
m.boden.co.uk/en-gb/womens-petite-range/trousers-jeans/t0119/womens-mayfair-skinny-jeans
They do them in regular, long and petite and at £60 well worth a try as Boden are usually v fast to credit returns. I’ve worn mine lots but these are more basic coated skinny rather than the Hush biker style skinnies

Laska5772 · 06/11/2018 15:33

The Next ones are only 24! Pull on coated leggings. They have them in black burgundy and silver!!

ilovecherries · 06/11/2018 15:36

Long a bit of sequin bling, Soy, you’ll look fabulous.

I left the coat in the end - mainly as I dozed off in Starbucks and daughter dragged me off to the car - I think she had visions of having to heft me up in a fireman’s lift. But it’s sort of calling to me, was so lovely on. I may get it yet as a post-colonoscopy present. That would be a talking point, for sure. OTOH, I do not NEED it, and I think I’m going to have to go zero tolerance on polyester and acrylic. I’m trying to cut down, but keep making exceptions, which isn’t really good enough. I certainly try not to buy it in items that will be washed a lot, eg blouses and trousers, but a teddy coat is still going to end up in landfill eventually. It’s so ubiquitous though. Anyway, here is the coat I lust for in my drug induced stupor. I don’t usually suit camel, but this is somehow quite cool toned.

Laska5772 · 06/11/2018 15:49

yay Meryl XS has shipped Smile ( and the wide top..
Teddy coat looks super-duper Cherries hope you are feeling more yourself now

GinandGingerBeer · 06/11/2018 15:53

Thanks @Soy & @Laska. I might try both and see which ones fit best.

SoyYo · 06/11/2018 16:12

cherries that coat looks like it will give you cozy bear hugs all winter! If after your drug induced longings you still love it I’d say get it but I know exactly where you’re coming from re environmental impact. I watched the documentary on fashion waste and the reason I’m trying to be sensible with one hit wonders. Aside from wasting £ I want to minimise the impact and I’m really wondering how much wear I’ll actually get out of my luscious leopard fur coat Hmm

Yeay laska!!

SoyYo · 06/11/2018 16:17

So I found a photo taken nearly 2 years ago of me wearing the skirt to the same Xmas event. I’m now older and half stone fatter (yes still trying to shift it) so in the interest of environmental conscience and the fact most people will be too pissed to remember what anyone wore two years ago, if I get the Hush shirt and wear that instead of the high velvet top and add higher heels do you think I can get away with it?

dontcallmelen · 06/11/2018 16:51

Cherries glad the ordeal of the mri scan is over & the drugs are wearing off, I have seen that coat in Zara & it’s lush, definitely a coat that will give you a cuddle.
Soy definitely think the blouse is worth a try & higher heels you will look lovely & sparkly.
Laska yeahy at last jumper despatched, did you try the next coated leggings? Sound like a bargain.

Ellapaella · 06/11/2018 17:16

Lovely skirt @SoyYo - looks fab.
Here is my TS jumper. It's very cosy, in fact it might be too warm and I'm worried the neck will annoy me. Will have to think about it for a while.

I actually prefer this burgundy one I got from Joules two years ago. It feels neater and more flattering.

@ilovecherries that coat is almost identical to my one from Tesco.

OP posts:
ilovecherries · 06/11/2018 17:27

I think that will be great, soy.

ella, you look lovely in that jumper. The coat IS very similar to the Tesco one, but the cut is different enough that the zara one fits my shape properly, and the Tesco one just didn’t - to fit my top off, it had masses of extra fabric.
