I must say, it is a bit scratchy though. Not at all like the other one :(

Well took the xs off and put the small on. Have decided to keep the small as it itches less. I think because the xs was a slimmer fit on the arms it was itching me more. The small doesn't itch at all!!! Bizarre. So a word warning. Maybe stick to your own size. The small looks like the xs in the silver. Its still looks nice :)

That dress looks great never, and I love it with the necklace, even if it's not the necklace you wanted! I see what you mean about it being versatile - to play up or play down the sparkle...

How annoying about the jumper, Laska! Particularly as you could have swiped the one you spotted yesterday if you'd known. Maybe that one IS actually heading to you? Who knows... I'd have thought that they would keep a track of "back orders" to send on as returns come in, rather than putting them back up on the website. Though it may well be too big for you in the S anyway, as you say.

I haven't tried the zebra dress flipflapbat but I think it is fab and I think you should get it (#nothelpful). It looks a great print and a nice style. I had a rare moment of sense, though, and I thought for my lifestyle I probably wouldn't wear it enough to justify.

I had a great time thanks. Felt very comfortable. On my way home went to pick up the green leopard skirt in a 12 from my local waitrose and its perfect. So glad I got it. Its just such a beautiful colour.

Hi all. I've missed the whole weekend of posts due to working and other stuff.
The "other stuff" was sadly getting a phone call on Friday just before I started work from DS1 who is at Uni in Birmingham to say that one of his mates from school who was part of "his circle" had committed suicide on Thursday at a different Uni. Obviously DS was really upset (as was I). As a consequence, he came home yesterday (as did lots of other uni mates) to all meet up and cry together. They are obviously shocked and devastated as no one saw it coming. It's so so sad. So have been trying to be around for support, although was working today. Am home now and he's going back tonight so we have had a few good chats and he is feeling supported hopefully. It's hard sending him back tonight.

Anyway, sorry to derail. On clothes news, has anyone looked at Olive Clothing? I saw an advert on Instagram and had a quick peek at their website and it looks kind of a cross between Hush and Toast as far as I can work out. Reasonable-ish prices, unlike Toast!

That's awful about your sons friend Your poor ds. Must be very hard for you to have him return back to uni. I LOVE the clothes on that website but why oh why have they styled all their clothes on hangers. Its really hard to tell what they will look like on. The stuff is lovely.

@Laska about the dresses not on the website. They are in the winter booklet and are called the Taylor dress [leopard print] with little spaghetti straps and star devore dress. Do they have the moon dot PJ's and they don't have the ceres metallic pleated skirt but it looks similar to one they did before. Also the velour colour block slip dress. All the others are stuff on the website but these additions look very xmas night out so are probably still to come.

The moon dot pj's are on the website [ I never look at pyjamas] but the three dresses are not.

Wondering if they might do a bonfire night 10% off! You never know!

That’s so sad, fudge. One of the young men in my DD’s college class committed suicide. It was so tragic and shook them all terribly.

Oh fudge. What an awful time for your family and the family of your DSs friend . It must be so hard for him to have to go back, and for you as well, supporting him. Uni is such a difficult time to adjust to for everyone, and it seems the mental health of students can get forgotten among all the academic and social stuff .

Noooo. Not another website with lovely clothes... Though I agree it is really difficult to tell what they will look like. Can't even see if the trousers are full length or not ( I know cropped trousers are in, but I can't get my head around the wide legged, cropped trend. And my ankles feel cold just thinking about it). And what's with the "one size" thing. Presumably you just hope it fits you in a way you like. I love this though. (No I don't need any more jumpers and no I'm not buying anything else online til I go to an actual shop this week...)

Thank you all for your thoughts. He should be back now so hopefully his flatmates are around and he doesn't have to be on his own immediately. It's so unbearably sad for the family. And the far reaching impact it has too, apparently there were teachers crying at the school on Friday afternoon when the news broke.

Hi, I was wondering if any of you might be able to help me. I'm looking for a Hush coat called the Anders Revere in size 10 midnight blue. It is sold out on the Hush website. Does anyone know if this coat will be restocked ie do Hush usually restock? Or has anyone found a similar coat elsewhere? Thank you.

You can try early in the morning around 8:30 to 9:30 or so. Sometimes they get returns and you might be lucky. That coat was in stock in the navy not that long ago but has been out of stock in the black for ages. You may have a chance if that is the case. Have you tried John Lewis? Not sure if they stock it however. They don't have everything hush.

Maybe that is why they don't show any photos of the garments as it must look vastly different from an 8-18! I really do love their pinafores but its difficult with them not showing the fit. Its a lot of money to part with when no indication of sizes and just a disclaimer saying that it will fit a 14 neater ...er yes that it obvious.

But the clothes look lovely.

If they restock they generally have a pre-order option on the sizes with how long it will take till they’re back in. The majority of stuff though they don’t restock (but will quite possibly repeat next year in different colours).

Its mostly returns. Not sure if they will restock now. In sales terms its probably getting to close to sales. Its always possible. When did the coat come on the website? If it was way at the beginning of AW i doubt it. Best to check for a return. You might strike it lucky. Esp for the navy. Try John lewis too for a return.
