Well my dr martens arcadia in cherry red came. They are a lot darker than I thought they would be - almost black but they are lovely. I really like them with my washed black skinny jeans and long sabrina cardigan. My mum caught sight of the velour jacket and told me to keep it. She thinks its gorgeous and has said I can have it for my birthday so win win!!!

H&M jumper arrived and I'm so pleased! Feel like I don't need the Meryl now (which is handy as I can't afford it). Wouldn't normally wear with leggings on its own, just too excited to try on 😂

I picked up that jumper today in H&M, Huff! I had to go for a huge size as it is all they had, but I was returning/exchanging a dress without receipt, so at least I can now keep this one for a month and return if/when a smaller size comes back in stock. It is lovely on.

Do they have other colours? which one is it. Can you do a link?

So I packed and returned the plastic lace vest (horrid) and the scarf...a little sad but these days I’m trying to be sensible and I just knew it wouldn’t get enough wear and would look at me reproachfully. It just doesn’t go with most of my winter coats (except leather jackets) and so...bye bye but if you are on the market for a really thick warm high quality wool scarf that could double up as a shawl I highly recommend it.

@Soyo - Its the hush puffa [velvet one] My mum couldn't stop stroking it! she loves it on me!

I will show you a picture tomorrow as its very dark and they will just look black! They are surprisingly comfy for docs. I'm sure they will rub somewhere while breaking them in.

When I took them out of the box I was a bit disappointed because I thought they had sent me the black ones but when looking closer I realised they are very very dark red with a bit of fading at the toes. It was starting to get dark though so couldn't really see them. They are a very subtle red.

I am sure with wear the leather will get a bit worn and may lighten up a bit when the sheen comes off but they are a good inbetween as they are good with black and good with other colours.

I wish they were a bit more red like that but I think they will be similar in the daylight and someone said they are red when the sun shines on them. They do look pretty black with a bit of the rustic red at the toe.

They look perfect never and that dark red will be perfect to combine with lots including black and your awesome hush fur coat 👍

Yes that would look good :) My poor faux red jacket that is languishing in my wardrobe.

Its absolutely beautiful that jumper huff I have so many charcoal and grey jumpers though and I am not that fussed for the cream but it is stunning and has some wool in it so totally worth it imo.

H&M have so many stunning pieces of knitwear. Why on earth buy from Hush. Their jumpers are beautiful.

They are also a fraction of the price. I know that they may not wash up that great but lets face it, neither do some from Hush. I want loads on there.

Oh my Never I'm am sooo jealous of those boots! DM's are on my Christmas wish list. Let me know how long they take to wear in and how you find the sizing. I had a pair of Pascals I ordered earlier in the year and they were so narrow I had to return.

I went into Uxbridge today with my Mum while visiting my sister and we had a browse round Primark. I came away with this beautiful dark red faux fur coat and my Mum bought the brown furry jacket.
She's 71 and looks amazing in this, she's been wearing it with skinny jeans and biker boots today - I feel so proud of my Mum totally rocking it.

I wish they were as red as that tbh but they are almost black. They are very comfy. I am a 6 and that's what I got. I don't feel them tight anywhere but have only worn them for about 15 mins max.
Love the jackets btw. That red jacket is gorgeous and I adore the brown one. You really suit it - no pinching!!!!

Ooh lovely stuff posted today.I also want to go round huff's to have a nose around what looks like a really lovely house ( all those wooden beams!).. Are you in the Cotswolds Huff?

My velvet puffa is so delish! sadly tough I have noticed some of the stitching is coming undone on the sleeve. (not a seam but some of the decorative stitching ..I am in two minds whether to return or just sew it back myself..

I think the pink Meryl may be too big ( thinking of how big the M was but am hoping not.. it should be here tomorrow.

DM was a bit brighter although there is a long way to go before any possibility of her being discharged , and even then it may not be back to her home.. DSF .. v morose.. and DB almost as bad ..(they never have been the most positive of people)

However it hasn't be such a tough day for me, I think I am coping with it all better now ( with the help of my really lovely supportive DH and of course !...... F the diet!! )
