Well done Never - mystery solved. I have to say I'm very pleased with mine. I chose red because I've been admiring your red tiger scarf and liked the zebra print.

Yes it is small to size - I'd size up for sure.

neveradullmoment99 · 26/10/2018 21:32

So what did you buy Ella? You are a 10 did you go for a 12?

neveradullmoment99 · 26/10/2018 21:33

Is one size enough? Im not looking atm just for the future.

Ellapaella · 26/10/2018 21:39

That's weird @neveradullmoment99 as I bought that exact coat at the end of summer but it was listed as XS/S/M/L when I got mine.
Initially ordered a small but swapped for a medium which was a much better fit. I posted a picture a few threads back. It's definitely the same coat.
I'm 10/12 and I think you are a similar size/shape to me so I think a medium would work for you or just one size up if going in actual sizes.

Thanks Ella. Thats good to know :)

neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 08:20

Ellapaella · 27/10/2018 09:00

Mine is out for delivery today. Lazy day for me today - has such a busy week and the weather is so awful I'm going to hibernate indoors and not go anywhere.

Laska5772 · 27/10/2018 09:00

I've ordered the M in the Meryl and the 14 in the puffa.. I hope they will be ok, I am really not sure of where Hush sizes are nowadays..

Laska5772 · 27/10/2018 09:02

its bright and sunny but v cold here right now,, we are going out for a long walk i think.. just what i need .

neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 09:07

Its freezing but beautiful here. I see your jacket is in stock @laska. I agree with sizing. Hit or miss atm. Even more erratic!

neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 09:08

Off to the supermarket then quick visit to my mums😀

Laska5772 · 27/10/2018 09:09

ah and Johnnie has already refunded the leopard jacket I sent back earlier in the week .. (so much better than Hush fo r returns although they do seem to be getting a bit quicker at it ) , .and i also have a suki top on back order now coming from him , which is likely to go back actually as i have tried on one since and its not really me and a H&M William Morris print shirt dress is on its way

Ellapaella · 27/10/2018 09:14

I read somewhere (might have been a blog can't remember) that generally Hush coats have been far more true to size this season rather than coming up slightly larger as per their usual sizing.
Certainly the parka I ordered and sent back was a 10 and was a good fit.
Fingers crossed it's right for you Laska - can't wait to see your pics if it.

dontcallmelen · 27/10/2018 09:47

Cold but dry here, so off to dgd favourite park then a pub lunch.
Hopefully my M&S jeans will be click n collect later, have a lovely day everyone hope all your parcels arrive.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 10:34

Ok. So wondering what jackets you all wear with your amies. I wear my parka but always feel like i look like a bag lady when i go out. I look fine until i put my jacket on. What do you wear with them when its cold?

neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 12:26

Btw, was at tescos and they had a long cowl neck jumper like the hush one in pale grey. Pretty long too and nice and baggy for £18 if anyone is interested - @ella? Pretty good value although obv not wool! Still very wash and wear.

Ellapaella · 27/10/2018 13:25

Will catch up with thread shortly - just quickly posting pics and will come back.
Today I got the Cassie Modal dress and pendant, super pleased with these.
My new boots arrived (see pics) and also see here the M & S jeans and zebra scarf.

You look lovely Ella. I knew you would suit you. I love everything on you. Smile

Laska5772 · 27/10/2018 15:15

Hahahahahaha... my Hush Meryl in (supposed M!!) arrived.... so huge that I could have got both me and DH in it! ..

It is a nice weight and colour and the fabric feels good , but if I reorder (and I may not , am now going to look at the Tesco one first) , ill be going for the XS!!

Laska5772 · 27/10/2018 15:16

Ella you look great .Both dress and boots are fab on you ..

Ellapaella · 27/10/2018 16:47

Thanks both
That's a shame about the jumper Laska. Are you going to order a smaller size?

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 27/10/2018 16:49

I only wear harem/Amies in the summer never as I don't find hen warm enough for colder months so tend to wear mine with a denim jacket usually.
Would Amies go ok with a biker jacket? With the right shoes it would be ok I think. Or a nice warm blazer?

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 27/10/2018 16:57

A blazer may work. I have mine on today. It got a bit warmer with the sun but oh the wind was biting cold! I had my parka with it. I think it needs to be casual. I find joggers a bit hard to style jacket wise in the winter. A zipped up fleece would work but its not me.
