@Quantumblue I love how animals really don't care about the humans standing next to them or in their presence sometimes. This heavily explains my love of cats.

Also the statement that members of the RF congratulated the couple at the wedding (which was clearly to me a way of indicating that most of them already knew) got morphed (by the tabloids and some MNetters on another thread) into some version of Harry grabbing the mic at the reception, jumping on a table, and yeling, "Yo, we have some really important news, which by they way, Eug, is going to drop you down a notch in the succession to the throne." Bonkers

The only person who said they announced it at the wedding was the Mail's royal reporter, but that's now been taken as fact! The Palace has kept mum (pun intended) on when it was revealed.

That does explain a lot, Queen. I don't keep up with what the British tabloids are up to except what I read on MN. Here in the US, Eugenie's wedding was a minor news blip, but Meghan's pregnancy is big news.

I really liked her white dress outfit - v sleek. She doesn't have a big bump but to be fair, she is probably b conscious of it due to being so slim. I was never quite so slender, but I know I felt like I looked hugely pregnant long before it was obvious to a casual observer, if that makes sense. So maybe that's why she felt she had something to hide (assuming of course that is how she felt - how would we know after all).

Not so keen on the green dress, I personally prefer slightly more structured looks generally and find flippy flappy type dresses too fussy. I prefer the green to the red though - I found the red original version a little Handmaid's Tale-esque. Definitely not one to wear with a white hat!

I know she's not Royal but Pippa has had a baby boy.

Sorry to be clear I wasn't insulting a hidden motive behind her holding the folders it just reminded me of all tv shows ever where actress contantly have something in the arms to shield the bump! I have no issue with her wanting to his it I just thought it was a funny way to do it.

The BBC reported that's senior royals were told at Friday's wedding. The source was a reporter on the tour with them.

Who counts as a senior royal? I have never really got where the line is? From google they are saying it is the Queen, Philip, Charles, Camilla, William and Kate some included Harry some not. No way they were told on Friday!

I'm sure some of the older more distant royals found out on Friday maybe the Kent's ect the people closest to them will have known for a while I'm sure.

That white dress is stunningly beautiful - she is absolutely glowing. And I like the khaki too, in different ways

Hope Pippa is OK - I suspect she will have the same "ping back into shape in a week" genes that Kate has, but I hope she doesn't feel pressured to leave the hospital looking glam

I wouldn't have thought that the Beeb would print that without corroborating. They usually don't.

The bbc have to have at least two sources before they report.

The news is still open to interpretation with now formal definition as who is/isn't a senior royal (or at least one I kind find). It could mean anything them telling one royal whonthat journalists thinks is senior and technically it isn't a false statement is it?

Also I haven't see anyone say the source of this information. It wasn't in the official statement and I haven't seen any article that say how they know what happened.

Fair enough I haven't seen one with them all named. I could understand the queen maybe has hasn't she been in Scotland and I'm guessing isn't on what's app grandparents are normally done face to face but I would be surprised if he told the Cambridge's his brother at the same time as everyone else! We will never know for sure though unless eugine comes out with AIBU cousin stole my moment
