So I think any man would have mental health issues having experienced the following :
The very bitter, very public, divorce of his parents which then resulted in very tug of love parenting until her death
The emotional isolation that can affect men who boarded.
The fact that no matter his personal interests, talents or desires, he has no choice in career.
The fact that anecdotal evidence points to Harry having had a very straightforward relationship with Diana whereas his was more complex and possibly more toxic
The time :
-
police officers came to reprimand her for nuisance phone calls to some bloke and or his wife and she called William in, said it was him and the police bollocked him. It was her.
-
She rang Eton and arranged for William to watch her famous interview live. During this interview he discovered whilst sitting with his HOY, that both his parents had cheated on each other and that his Mum thought his brother was better suited to the throne
-
The time he sat outside pushing tissues under the bathroom door because she wouldn't come out and wouldn't stop crying
And that's just the common knowledge stuff
Marching behind your dead mums coffin as cameras filmed you and random strangers wailed and yelled your name
Your Uncle having a go at your Granny from the pulpit of your Mums funeral and choosing at 14 or so to practically go NC with him as a result.
Yes, I'd say that would make any man struggle from clinical depression and why Cambridge's have a focus on MH IMO
