Just been reading about the Zika virus and the effects on unborn babies ( Microcephaly- reduced brain development and then associated issues.) Fiji & Tonga are supposed to be reduced risk, but they are still a risk. Honestly why doesn’t Meghan let Harry go by himself.

Letizia looks amazing in that red dress. She's so stylish and dresses her daughters really well too. They're always in clothes that are completely age and event appropriate, but not in the least bit fussy or staid.

My favourite bit was the hug from the little boy. He was so funny stroking Harry’s beard. I’m so looking forward to seeing Harry as a Dad. He is absolutely amazing with children, ( I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy about a Royal baby!)

Just from a fashion point of view; Meghan is wearing an Aussie brand of Jeans . ( good) a French shirt: which I find a bit meh in style. However the jacket is by her pal Serena Williams. For me; it is a) a not very nice jacket b) not really on promoting her friend’s clothes when on a royal tour. c) why on earth will she not wear British Designers?

Apart from the odd Stella McCartney & Burberry when engaged; and her evening wedding dress; she has really not made the effort. It is all Carolina Herrera & Givenchy.
To her credit, Kate has pretty much always worn British and very often high street. Back in the day; Diana wore British designers and wore foreign when overseas to honour the host nation.

Someone needs to have a word with Meghan. I am really cross with her promoting Serena Williams (horrible) jacket.

I’m not keen on either the jacket or the shirt. I can see why she’d wear Australian or any other commonwealth designers but I agree she should also be wearing British to give the industry a boost. I wonder if it’s to do with her stylist friend Jessica Mulroney?

Agree re the use of US designers. I would like to see her in British, Australian and New Zealand designers on this tour. It shouldn't be that hard and is an easy way to give some different businesses a lift.

I tried unsuccessfully to post a picture of the afternoon tea they have had with the Country Women's Association, including banana bread baked by Meghan. I love seeing all the stolid (and delicious) carbs lined up. She is a long way from Hollywood here!

Meghan’s Banana bread in front. There is some token fruit; but Insee what you mean about the carbs!

I thought Meghan had a special advisor, for protocol issues, so I am surprised she is not more appropriately dressed to represent the UK. Also, I thought that the wardrobe of foreign tours were funded by the Foreign Office; ie taxpayers money, so why she is wearing American designers such as Brandon Maxwell is beyond me.

I wouldn’t say Jessica Mulrony is to blame. Meghan has strong fashion ideas herself. Jessica appears to be more of a moral support.

Itinerary for the Max and Wax visit next Monday & Tuesday

It looks like there will only be a couple of day outfits, and one of them is on a boat, so not sure if that will be a Max hat day!
However; there is a state banquet, so as well as Máxima, hopefully Kate & Camilla will be digging out Tiaras
