Super chuffed for Meg and Harry, you can keep Will and Kate but Meghan in particular is just so down to earth. Bet she's a proper girls girl too, hair and make up, champagne, nice clothes etc.

Ok, to be fair, side on Meghan is definitely a little fuller than pre pregnancy. Nice to see Harry wearing a wedding ring, I didn’t realise he had one 🤦🏼‍♀️

Someone eagle eyed has spotted that Meghan is wearing some of Diana’s ( lesser known) jewellry.

It was smart of Meghan to wear the white sheath dress; knowing everyone was going to want to look at her bump. You can just see her waist is a bit wider, and she has a very small curve. As pp said, it was just The was she was dressing at Eugenie’s wedding rather than the bump itself which made her look pregnant, Bit naughty of her really.

Completely agree, could have easily waited until they returned from their trip seeing as they are not changing their plans at all and let Eugenie have her moment.

The announcement does seem strange timing. Are they not worried about Zika virus or is their something they take to prevent it or a vaccine. I personally wouldn’t fly that far either or undertake a tour. I’m not a nervous nelly but I am super cautious around pregnancy.

Well that dress is surprising. You honestly can't tell. They way that she wore the coat at the wedding did indicate that she was showing more.

I don't believe they would have wanted to overshadow Eugenies day, if nothing else Harry genuinely seems to dislike the press and intrusion. So if it's not that she is showing maybe she isn't going to zika higher risk countries?

Eugenie had 3 days of celebrations - I hardly think she felt overshadowed!

They are going to high risk countries wine. I think H courts the press, on his terms, I am not a particular fan of H&M (not that they will care).

I do think it was bad form to make a pregnancy announcement so close to Eugenie’s wedding, doesn’t matter how thrilled everyone is and of course they are, I just think it is bad form.

If they'd announced last Thursday or Friday morning then yes, that would've been unreasonable of them, but they waited til after the weekend. And there's no evidence that they told people at the wedding - that nugget of information has come from the Mail, and they're hardly reliable. Eugenie is probably on honeymoon in some exotic location now and perfectly happy!

I don't for a minute think they announced it at the wedding and yes for all we know eugine may well have asked for them to do it to take the pressure off, Or maybe they are just worried that many people saw Meghan not drinking ect it would leak I'm sure there is a reason. All I meant is I'm sure there was reason for announcing then and it obviously isn't that she is showing.

I seriously doubt Kate and Meghan are known for bring first in the bar queue at weddings anyway. I read somewhere she wasn't a big drinker.

I love the green dress, the red is nice too. You can’t tell she’s pregnant yet, it was definitely the oversized coat that did it. I think they just wanted to announce as soon as the 12 week scan was over. KP have said she is still going to Fiji.

That necklace, on the Princess of Wales, which is part of a suite with the earrings is very much of its time. If there’s a revival of 1980s jewelry I’m ready.

I imagine pulling out of a prearranged trip due to Zika would cause massive political headache and require a level of diplomacy. Maybe there's talks going on in the background and their plans may still change.

That's a nice touch that she's wearing Diana's jewellery. She must've had so much - not just what she got when she was a royal, but the Spencers aren't short of a bob or two!

I guess Diana would have been late 20s early 30s. It amazing how young she was really. Not sure Chas would have got away with such a young bride these days

Agree @Queen the red version is much nicer. But Meghan loves her muted colours.

Meghan could have easily worn a different style of dress for a Eugenie’s wedding and not shown at all.
I can understand her feeling paranoid, not wanting to overshadow Eugenie, but she would ha e thought harder about her outfit. Even if she’d left the buttons undone; no one would have batted an eyelid.

Well it’s all done now. Spotlight back on Meghan. We’ll probably get a Pippa announcement shortly. Been a busy week!
