Kate looked absolutely perfect in the pictures published today.

Polly I’ve just realised that it’s Wednesday, not Monday & so the dinner was a Tuesday. I’d be much better off asleep! I’m all muddied with half term & a few nights away.

Meghan's pink dress is a horror!

Kate's - don't hate it but certainly not one of her best, to say the very least...

I really don't like that pink dress with Pom poms today! There must be better dresses for the climate and location than that surely. It reminded me of some of Kate's Indian tour horrors.

Princess Michael did look.very good. I loved the Aquamarine brooch and the long Pearls inside her collar.
(However the makeup was a bit "what ever happened to Baby Jane" for my taste.)

A rare misstep for Camilla. The dress and hat shape were perfect for her but the colour was too harsh. The pastels she usually chooses are spot on for her colouring

Theresa May also in navy but mismatched. Her outfit for the state dinner needed shapewear. Has she got a back problem because her posture is so.bad.

Camilla was in cream in the photos from the evening. I thought she looked very serene. She does do good tiara wearing hair. I hated Kate’s dress although her figure can pull it off.

I hate to knock other women, especially the PM but her dress was very unflattering, clinging to all the wrong places. As you say her posture makes everything worse. Mrs. May should take a leaf out of Camilla's book in terms of her (usual) palette. TM wears colours that tend to be too harsh for her colouring. I would love to see TM have a color in her hair that flatters her as her hair and clothes just don't work together well.

However, I know she has much more important things to be worrying about and women have every right to stick two fingers up at any expectations that they dress in a certain way. Fair play to her.

(But she could be looking soooooo much better! )

I like the pink dress but it could lose the pom-poms.

I quite like Meghan's pink dress, it's something different for her. God knows we all said we were tied of navy and black!

But more than the dress, she gave an impressive speech on education for women, so it's clear that she wants to be more than just a clothes horse.

My verdict fwiw

Camillla - state dinner, loved her outfit but navy day outfit too dark for her

Kate - evening dress liked the colour but not the style.

Meghan - pink dress, colour at last but was horrid.

Since I live in jeans most of the time I’m not sure Ive the right to judge

I like Camilla’s dress and the colour and I still like Meghan’s pink dress including the pom poms! I have no shame!

Meghan looks really beautiful in pink. I love that she’s making serious speeches on serious issues. Her bodyguard looked very nervous, what a nightmare of a job that must be.

If i had to chose between the pink with pom poms and the blue mermaid dress i'd chose the pink

I used to live in the South Pacific and the men wear a LOT of tropical shirts! Even Prince William wore one on his tour. I absolutely hate Meghan's pink dress but that is also a nod to the local ladies' style.

I reckon Meghan is 5 months pregnant and the baby will be born in 1 March.

I also love Kate's dress, but oh, she looks tired! I bet she's back on the fags again.

Meghan should have removed the pom poms.
The dress was busy enough without pom poms.
I think Meghan is more Cos style but can give a hippy vibe too.
No one else has commented on a completely different hair colour for Kate.

I'd like to hear Meghan's speech, she has a lovely and natural speaking voice. Kate always sounds a bit awkward and stilted and like she's faking her accent.
