Not ordering anything right now but its good to see what things are like through others!!

I like the jacket, Soy, it suits you, I think, and not too beige. Can’t wait to see the snow leopard though.

Never, nothing has excited me in the new stuff, I’m not feeling the Hush love just now, although I am still lusting the cashmere. I’m being unfaithful with Me&Em, Sosander and Cos.

I am holding off any orders as I am going to Chicago at the weekend and who knows what gems I will pick up there? In fairness I usually come back from the US with a case full of skincare and makeup and sweets, and very few new clothes (except way back before GAP were in Europe and then I used to stock up on jeans).

I am on the hunt for a decent parka/puffa coat as I spend a fair amount of my working day outdoors on year duty. It needs to cover my bum but be light enough and roomy enough for layers. So I think the windy city is as good a place as any to search :D
Also looking at lululemon and athleta for workout gear.

If I don't buy too many things I will treat myself to a new jumper from Hush!

Never I really love loads of the new Hush stuff! I ordered the velvet puffa jacket , but I love loads of the new things ..

So Boden Jacket , it looks great on you Soy but sadly not on me.. I was imagining it a bit shorter. But although the 14 fits , it just doesn't look right on me , AND for some reasons it is too small, but its also too long in the arms..Someone else has said these exact things regarding the sleeves on the reviews on their website I see, so I am hoping that I really dont have fat armpits! Maybe I do... perhaps its the difference in shoulders ?

Hopefully the Hush puffa will look ok on me ..and not make me look like a fat black womble

miffy very very wise to hold off till Chicago trip there’s a huge amount of choice in the US. I was there with work last May and managed one eve to have a quick dash in Macy’s.
Got DH and DS their favourite Levis for USD45 (compared to £75+ at JL) and didn’t have enough time to try things on for myself but still found a lovely big Fillginger shopper and a great gold rose necklace I’ve worn lots since...and that was a 1 hour dash. With time on my hands the wallet damage would have been severe

Its fine elsewhere just the arms.. Icouldnt go bigger in the body

Gin , I dont know, the hospital says the surgery went well, we just have to see now..

That’s weird laska I’m just under 5 4” tall which is a good 2” shorter than you yet the 14 fits and is roomy but not huge on me, and actually I was thinking for a standard fit the arms were a perfect length (I usually buy petite fitting at Boden)...maybe I’ve got freakishly long ape arms for my height?
Oh well worth a try and you’ve got the Hush puffa to look forward to.

My Boden parcel came with a PO returns label and a Hermes one. but the address is different to my old Boden lables (which said Kirby road Glenfield)

its : Boden Customer returns, National distribution centre, NDC XX40 1EG..

i'm going to photocopy it for potential use in sale time..

(however the Hermes one does say Kirby road , Glenfield, so maybe it is ok ?)

Yes I just tried it on again to double check laska I’m what you would term a typical inverted triangle or vase shape (wide shoulders, big boobs, waist which has widened with menopause but still there, narrow hips and slim legs and arms) but overall I am quite small boned so it could just be your bones are bigger. And it would make sense as you’re taller.
If I stand with the coat on and arms straight down then yes the sleeves come down to my ape knuckles but as soon as I move the arms (as you usually would in RL) sleeves ride up and perfect wrist length.
Oh well 😔 it wasn’t meant to be for you and I may still change my mind if the Sosander snow leopard coat is fabulous on...

The velvet puffa looks nice @Laska. I like the fairisle twiggy jumper but ive got one from Toast that cost a fair bit and I never wear it. Have considered selling it but I love it. Its always just a bit too warm to wear it and with these hot flushes....[started taking Evening primrose oil but although I had a great sleep last night , hot flushes were not great today but early days still] Had a little browse and I do love the asymmetric devore skirt and the other animal print skirt. Could see me ordering the animal one but I have the lovely asymmetric one in the sale so feel its perhaps too much to order the devore one. Also kept the velvet marina. I may be tempted by a LBD but not atm. Not much else that really draws me. Oh love the bag with the star on it. Its gorgeous.

@Laska, sounds like the OP went well. Hope she recovers well. My dm has been through 2 operations since she was 80, so don't despair.

I love love the colour of the Esther jumper, but the photos make the gorgeous model look dumpy so I can only imagine how it would look on most mortals. Too thick, wide and short for me anyway!

Same about the boden coat. Its looks so beautiful. I have the red short jacket from Hush and already have a longish one from M&Co that I love and is very strokeable so not going to order any more fur coats. But I do love the look of it.

The Esther jumper looks nice but the high neck would bug me. Lovely colour and weave though.

I would have had to have the small in this H&M jacket and it was still quite big !!

this was the H&M dress I bought in the dark blue .. really nice.. I had the 12 and its still pretty loose on me , but thought of shrinkage!

I live the Meryl jumper in pink.. but its far, far too expensive for the fabric it is composed of .. 41% Wool, 39% Acrylic, 18% Polyamide, 2% Elastane.

actually the La Boheme Mesh Watch is lovely ( but i never wear watches.. )

Nice H&M dress laska! Out of interest how does the fur fabric quality compare with Boden? I know the cut is different and I wonder if that’s the cost difference...

DH loves the coat on me and tells me to keep (he’s seen me in the Hush and NL black fur ones I tried).
He’s such an enabler! So cooking right now a very late spaghetti dinner which is yet another reason I can’t shift that half stone...love my carbs too much!
