Anne French Cleansing Milk - discontinued?

Just that really. Not available anywhere. Used to use it and stopped. Now on an economy drive and not buying my usual Decleor, so thought I would try AF again. If anybody uses it, is it gone permanently or just a temp thing?

Boots still have it showing on their website and it’s 3 for 2 at the moment. If it’s not in store then you could order it and then collect ? :-)

I've seen it very recently, in one of the Savers type shops.

Boots website shows it out of stock, as does Superdrugs. Also went into a large Boots, Superdrug and Savers today. Not in stock, not even a space for it. Amazon, out of stock. Nothing on Ebay! If I put the name in Google it brings up lots of stockists including Amazon, Ebay and smaller chemists, but they are but empty promises. All out of stock!

Hmm the only other places I’ve seen it have been small local chemists, if you haven’t checked them already :-)

Covered in cobwebs no doubt! Might start a thread on High St Cleansers and Toners recommends instead!

Just did a search on Twitter- somebody contacted Boots about it in Sept, and Boots confirmed it was discontinued. All these strange things happening in the world - Trump, Brexit and now AF has been discontinued!

Wow that's crazy. Though in fairness people weren't exactly storming the doors of Boots to buy it.....

Try Superdrugs Vitamin E Hot cloth cleanser. It's lovely and creamy and very cheap.

THanks for the suggestion. Just wanted a simple cleanser (but not the simple range) - hot cloth cleansers give me small broken veins unfortunately.

Noooo! That was the first cleanser I ever used! Love the smell of it.

I bought some in boots last week, shelf was full then so you might get lucky if you hunt the stores!!

I will keep my eye out!

Oh my goodness! This takes me right back to the 70s, when I was a teenager. They used to advertise Anne French in Jackie magazine and I used to buy it all the time. Very distinctive smell and unusual shaped bottle.

I suppose that is why it has gone, prompts memories but no sales!

Wow! I had no idea it was still around and like @WilburIsSomePig and @OhDearGodLookAtThisMess I can smell it now.

I bought some in Boots on Tuesday. I haven't used it in 20+ years and had forgotten how great it was. GUTTED this will probably be the last bottle! It's lovely, leaves my skin feeling so clean but also soft and moisturised.

@OhDearGodLookAtThisMess that was my first thought when I read Anne French - Jackie magazine adverts.

Along with "Hint of a tint", and Aapri Facial scrub.

I felt very grown up when I bought my first bottle of Anne French. Hope you find some op!

Oh that has brought back memories! I was a boots Saturday girl in the 70’s and bought my first Anne French cleaner with my first wage packet. I can still remember the smell.
I was amazed at how dirty the cotton wool balls were when using this cleaner.

It cleans your face like no other, love the smell too!

There was a face mask as well, it was pink, and dried hard on your face and made your skin glow.

They did hair remover too, didn't they?

Oh yes, fond memories of using it as a teenager, but I didn't know it was still around. There was also some brown stuff (American brand I think) that also was amazing for the amount of dirt it removed from the skin.
