Forgot to wear perfume today but did have a cream tea . 80s yellow florals makes me think of Sublime which might be SotE.

SOTD is ELDO's Noel au Balcon - honey, spice, apricots and orange blossom. It is the grown-up, glamorous version of 4160's Dirty Honey and therefore I love it.

I can't tell you how bemused I am to find myself a gourmand fan

Gawd, it's nippy today. Am sat in my office (lol, it's the box room with a desk in it) with a scarf and an extra pair of socks on...winter is coming and so are the cosy winter scents... cannot wait!

I’ve bought a bottle of the original off ebay and can’t wait! Plus samples of Profumum Roma perfumes containing Myrrh. I have a decant of Battito d Ali which is delicious on cold days. The Myrrh just stops the sweetness from being too much.
I may have followed your tip off Blahbla and ordered a couple of Jo Malone from Tk Maxx.
So have been a bit spendthrift😁

At home today. In Old Sport and Dirty Honey (different arms obvs). Glad you gave it a mention Fennel, as I do think Dirty Honey is overlooked.

Got my October selection from Bloom. It's the Halloween selection so includes Secretions Magnifique (anyone want a sample, this is my second), Bat and Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Wearing Bat today. I'm getting chemistry labs. Very phenolic.

Dank sweetcorn too perhaps?

I went to penhaligans for the first and probably last time!

SotD Tyrannasaurus Rex. I feel like it could be the fantastic base to a rose perfume. Very smokey and metallic.

Have just shrunk most of my work knitwear (middle aged eyes misread the dial)

That's the perfume budget gone for a while ...

Oh no MrsL! So frustrating. Although must admit I've benefited from the same thing recently - DP put a lovely navy blue pure wool sweater of his on a standard wash... and now it fits me beautifully

SOTD is Mona di Orio Vanille - wonderful smoky boozy vanilla, not sweet at all. Can't decide whether to go for a long walk in the chilly sunshine today or have a very lazy one...should probably do the former I suppose!

Scent of my life (possibly!) is now Luna. Just adore it.

Ah, CVC is great, blah! Absolutely love it. It's a wonderful vanilla.

I don't know about Shazam for a blind buy for someone else. I really like Feminite de bois and Tam Dao but Shazam leaves me a bit underwhelmed. However, if she's a fan of woods then Bodhi Language might be a better bet (if you're looking at 4160)? I think it's a very underrated scent.

stayingalive - I have a gorgeous set of Penhaligon's samples and Luna is definitely one of my favourites from it. It's a very pretty, light rose on me.

Would you mind if I drop in to ask for a recommendation please?
I use boots sanctuary spa products and like clean, soapy, citrus scents and herbs. Really dislike anything sugary sweet or synthetic smelling. I have the sanctuary spa spray but it doesn't have staying power and wears off quickly.
If anyone knows of a purfume I might get on with I'd really appreciate your ideas. Thank you and sorry for interrupting your convo
