Have broken my ‘I will not buy any new clothes until after Christmas’ promise by ordering the green velvet trousers (OK, and the Rock n Roll tee). Not a Friend so won’t get them till Monday but have been lusting after them for months after seeing the tiny preview picture so I reckon I am justified!

Can’t help with the aquisition of the white trousers, Each, but I remember going on a cruise with my mother a couple of years ago and everyone over the age of 65 was in white trousers and generally some form of breton top. Mum was horrified - ‘it’s like a uniform’ - repacked her white trousers immediately and has never taken them on holiday again

Also ordered the black coated skinnies. I already have a pair from hush from 2/3 years ago and they are almost the same. Mine are slightly lower rise. Had to size up to a 14. The 12's were tiny. They are nice and will buy in the sale if they come up but am going to return them. The velour trousers -Beautiful colour. Neat on the waist if you have a tummy. I got my normal size 12. The fabric is cheap rubbish. I would buy in the sale as I love the colour but the quality is er..shite. Compared to boden and my toast ones they are a disgrace and the velvet is like something out of boohoo.com. cheap cheap cheap. They say they are floor length. No way!!! They are the same length on me as the model and she is 5ft 10. I am 5ft 6 almost. I guess they would hang lower if I had less of a tummy but I would probably have to size up if I wanted them longer. Sad too as they fit nicely on bum and hips. Anway, hope you have more success with the velour skirt @laska.

The top is fab just like last year's wide grey top but nicer fabric. It's slightly thicker than the V wide tops. Does have a New dyed smell to it though sure that will go on wash. Zebra leggings as they were when I first tried. Will keep them this time ( only sent back previously because I thought I would not wear both animal print..)

And cherries, I see you have them on. They are similar in length to yours. I think they need to be way longer for the style. I am also worried about shrinkage.

I thought that about the trousers as well, Never. They were JUST long enough on me at 5’7. And the crotch was in the right place so hanging lower wouldn’t have helped. I love the jacket - tried it on and had it been anything other than black would have ordered in a moment.

Like the outfit @Laska. I don't wear my leopard leggings so I probably wouldn't buy the zebra ones but I really like them on you. Love the top. A great buy. Very tempted.

Plus the trousers will mark terribly. They are on a clip hanger in JL and had two nasty marks from it, back and front, where the pile was squashed.

Honestly cherries, if you are wanting velvet wide legs that are quality [ or cord ones] buy the Toast ones. Beautiful quality.

Sadly though, I think they are only doing cropped ones this year. Very annoying.

What do you think of the red leopard jumper? I think I will return it but I do love it Its just too expensive.

I tried on the Velour trousers never agree the quality is appalling and at 5'10 sitting on my calf!!!!

Would just like to say I bought the green sleeved Tara and its lovely. Really nice thick fabric that smooths your tum/bum area!!!

That's interesting about the skirt Cherries. I ordered a 16 (usually have Hush 12) as Hush said the waist comes up very small.But sounds like it will be going straight back. What size did you try on?
I did wonder a bout the fabric looking cheap though.

I think the top is a great buy.. it may be slightly shorter than the wide tops but not much.. Am really pleased with it .

I tried the 12 in the skirt, Laska, and could pull it out 6/7 inches.

I really Love the red leopard jumper ( also the new one in Black).. The only thing is that leopard is so popular now that it will probably over by the end of the winter) what is the quality like?

They are XTi!!!! How did you know? I have never heard of them. I love them. Do you know where I can buy more from? I would like them in different colours!!!! They pewter is fantastic. Seriously goes with everything.

My second meeting has just been cancelled as the guy’s child has been sent home from school with chicken pox. Oh, I don’t miss those days! So I can a) buy another ticket for an earlier train or b) go shopping. It’s a tough choice.

Its similar to hush's other star jumpers. A mix of cotton, bamboo and wool. It is thin but soft. I am not sure it would wear particularly well. If only I could find something similar. It is absolutely beautiful because of the contrast between the red and leopard print. Quite funky. I don't really care about fashion. I like it, cause I like it. I am not a follower. We all had animal print on here before it became a thing.

Oh and my brand alley stuff came. What are brand alley like for returns? I do like the pale blue starbright jumper [ I love the red one way more!] and the jeans are a good fit. Just thinking about everything adding up!!!

You all look great in your pictures, hmm the velour stuff sounds a bit pants quality wise, must admit I like the look of velour/velvet but can’t bear the feel of it, makes my tummy go funny😂
I haven’t ordered any thing remotely sensible, got three pairs of Richmond shorts from boden in the sale were a bargain, & a couple of linen tops from monsoon that were half price, could wear them today though it’s a beautiful day here in London.

Ive sent for those Ash trainers i linked to . had a £20 code and there was a hush yellow star T in my size.. so £69 for the lot. hopefully they will be ok

Filled soda which Clarks boots are those? .I have just had to tale back a pair of the Orinoco Spice because they rubbed my feet so ( had bought two pairs so am hoping the grey ones i have left will break in ok, they are not so bad now , but wasn't risking the black pair , )
