Uh huh.. Ok.. so I did sneak a look at the Boden sale after all ....have ordered these trainer/loafers in navy to try out and yet another Breton to add to my collection, but that was only £16

Im ok with black and may order it cause its so lovely. Im not pale so that honestly helps.

If I were a betting person, I'd say scarves were unlikely to go in the sale as it's been mild so far.
You could get it at 10% off and don't wear it/keep tags on until the sale launches then you can send it back if it's cheaper?

I could wear that blazer with my next PU leggings, biker boots for a similar look wishful thinking

Looking back at my order history, I bought a skirt in the sale on 26th October last year. Can’t remember if that was the begining or end of sale though.

I have kept the tiger scarf. It was too unsual to pass up. I agree. Its too soon for scarves to be in any type of sale except the January sales. I think that scarf may do well for xmas gifts. It could look pretty good with the blazer...

How does one wear skinny scarves? I had a bit of a rush of blood to the brain and bought the lightning bolt scarf on the last day of the Xmas sale, but not sure how to actually wear it. It still has its tag so if I can’t get it right it may end up as a Xmas present.

cherries I have a plain black skinny scarf that i wear just looped around ( sort of if it were a necklace one loop both ends dangle down at front ). it works well with shirts with collars and also the Ivys I find .

I have a lovely leopard print skinny scarf from about 5 years ago (so leopard print is definitely not new!). I fold mine in half then loop round my neck and pull through so a triangle shape hangs at the front with the two ends dangling either side. I'll have to post a pic at some point to show you what I mean @ilovecherries. Maybe tomorrow (just settling down to watch the Bodyguard).
Fudge I really love that blazer on you. It looks really good. Love it with what you have on in the photo, the necklace is a lovely finishing touch. If I had unlimited funds I'd definitely be getting that myself. I hope you keep it.

Like Laska I wear skinny scarves like a sort of choker with the ends hanging down in front. I have several (including the star version of the lightning bolt one) and they go with tons of things. If you think of stuff that you’d wear a long pendant type necklace with then add the scarf instead of the pendant (or as well as in some cases).

I wear it in that way too. I also have the star version of the lightning bolt scarf. I usually wear it with my plain black fine knit crew neck jumper just basically looped around my neck with the two ends dangling down at the front. Sometimes I wear it knotted at the front by just taking the ends and tying the in a knot midway. it resembles a kind of tie that is further down iykwim.

Leather skirt, oasis zebra skirt (£3 with tags!) and a cheap pull on jersey skirt from M&S as I wanted to try out checks, which I’ve never worn before. Have also never worn zebra or leather, mind you! All worn with a Whistles jumper I bought in the JL promotion, but I think even for slouchy it’s too big so will see if I can swap for a small. The leather and the M&S are 12s, the zebra is a 14 and at the least I’m going to have to sew the pockets down as they are sagging forward. The A line on the leather is quite pronounced at the moment, as the woman in the shop put card inside it, then sealed it between another two sheets of card for travelling, but I think it will soften off.

It’s nice for 15 quid, isn’t it, laska. I just wanted to dip my toe into checks without spending a fortune, so I’m really pleased with it. Super-comfy as well.

I’ve also lost so much weight off my feet (?!?!) that I can now fit my orthotics into two pairs of brand new brogues that I’d planned to ebay. I’m just wearing them round the house today to make sure they are ok, but I think they are a go-er.

never I’ll investigate your scarf as I could do with a cheerful red one, like you I’m trying not to spend too much as I always go nuts at Hush sale time and end up thinking why did I buying so much before?

Re Zara tbh the only time I go into Zara is when I’m in Spain. And even here I just tend to go for my favourite biker skinny jeans and this time I spotted amazing pleated culottes but you have to hunt for the diamond amongst the rough and unless I’m on hols I have no time for that! I also saw a great leopard fur coat for 89Eu and tried it on but was underwhelmed with how it looked on so wasn’t tempted to keep. They also had some original looking shirts in lovely print mixes but again really nasty polyester rough to the touch so that put me off even trying on...

Oh yeah I was going to suggest if you’re planning on selling Hush stuff on eBay also consider the FB Page for Hush/Mint Velvet. People seem to pay silly prices for quite worn out clothes ...I spotted today someone selling a Stella jumper which was wrinkly, I think quite worn out and I think shrunk for £28! and it sold! I would have been embarrassed to pass on to charity based on how it looked online...
