Leather leggings - still in fashion?

I haven’t seen anyone wearing them for a while now you come to mention it... that said I frequent a lot less bars than I used to so it’s highly probable I’m out of touch. Personally I think they’re a bit Kim K circa 2015 and that they’ve had their moment but what matters is whether you feel good in them!

I think leather skinny jeans are still in! Especially with an oversized white shirt, red lipstick and heeled shoes (boots or stilettos)

And I'm only 22 :) but then I like a bit of a fierce look so my leather jeans are staying firmly in my wardrobe.

I think during the day in A/W with a big chunky jumper or oversized shirt they are still ‘in’.

I wouldn’t wear them dressed up on a night out anymore but probably wouldn’t think twice if I saw someone doing so.

I haven’t worn mine since the early Spring because it’s been far too hot! But last winter there were many MN threads on leather leggings and there are already some in the shops for the A/W season.

I think they’re a staple classic. I have them in black and navy, and wear them with trainers and a jumper or shirt. I try to avoid the ‘KK circa 2015’ look that way!

I really like the idea of dressed down with a chunky jumper for Autumn! Might have to resurrect the pair in the back of my wardrobe.

@sirmione16 yes! I saw some the other day. I can't remember where though, I think it might have been seraphine. The other places I have been looking are H&M, new look and Debenhams so if not sereohine it's one of those.

I wore mine last night. Wore them with a long oversized top and some statement earrings.
Don't know if they're still considered 'in fashion' or not but I love mine. Also look great with a chunky knit and trainers so good for dressing up or down imo.

I am definitely no Kim Kardashian btw!

I agree with others they look more modern styled more casually. I wouldnt part with mine as there the warmest trousers i own.

This thread inspired me to wear mine today 😬. I LOVE THEM. So comfortable and flattering. I mostly wear them with slouchy oversized cashmere and trainers/boots. Best thing ever.

I like them too but worry that im giving off some kind of kinky vibe !!!

I took mine out to inspect for marks etc, and to see if they still fit. They're a bit loose around the waist now but still look ok. Fully intend to wear them, have bought a new knitted dress with splits up the side to wear with it, I think they look great

Plus can I just say - top tip time: put the smallest bit of oil on your hands and rub between the thighs to get rid of the awkward squeak/brushing sound when you walk. Or maybe it's just my thighs

I actually started this thread as I saw a pair of brand new with tags Wolford ones in charity shop and wondered whether to buy them. They are still expensive. Also they are navy not black
