That leather skirt has got to be over 12 years old I reckon . I've worn it about 3 times! ( due to yoyo weight) ,its been too big as much as being too small! A shame because its lovely soft leather and a classic shape

"when I started working with Hush" etc.etc.. so how do real people like us (who I reckon do as much to promote their brand but ruddy pay for it all ) get free clothes like that blogger then? --sour grapes-

I may be about to tell Hush that ‘it’s not me, it’s you’ before I comprehensively chuck them. I wore my Kensington today for the first time (had to take the label off) and it has two holes in it. One at a seam and one in the shirring where the fabric just seems to have given way.

This is the response I got from Hush today re my A/W Kensington which arrived without button holes cut out. Which I think is a bit shit 🤷🏻‍♀️
What are JL going to do about it

I have the hush leather A-line skirt from last season, it's lovely and I wore it loads last year. Need to cut down on the gin and chocolate though as I bet it's a bit snug now!

Well I am also a bit peeved. Have worn my zebra skirt 3 times. It is fraying at the bottom! Pretty pissed off. Really NOT on! I really think their quality is bloody shocking.
Oh and @Laska my blouse was the kerala blouse. Yes, its the hush pale blue one. I really like and think I suit the colour.

Oh and I love the combinations of clothes Laska. Very smart. Love the yellow jumper but £££ Still, I love love love cashmere!
I also have last seasons leather skirt. Havent worn mine that much. May wear it to work tomorrow.

Its really a truly shit unhelpful response @Gin. Its not really anything to do with JL!!! Its a hush item!

I know, very disappointing. Not much JL can do about it is there? Grrrrr. However, I'm still going to email them and forward on hush's response.

@Gin that’s a crap response. JL will give you a refund but that’s not the point. Hush could have been more helpful. I love Hush clothes and styling but their quality and customer service appears to be lacking!

@never you should take your zebra skirt back. I expect primark items to last longer than that (and they do!) I don’t know what’s up with Hush quality.

The quality does seem to have significantly deteriorated recently in some items . Perhaps due to expansion of thier business? Prices haven't!

A bit concerned about the comments on the zebra skirt and Kensington dress (I have both but not worn skirt yet and dress only once) will follow with interest. Such a shame it’s all become hit/miss quality and still bloody expensive! I vote for the next thread name being Out of Love with the Hush or something along those lines...

zippyswife you’re welcome I hope you like the ASOS boots and if you have std width feet thar they’re okay as they are very roomy (good for thick socks/tights) and I have E width feet and they fitted me perfectly in my usual size 5. Just thought I’d mention in case you have very narrow feet.

lkbennett have some plain pale pink & grey cashmere crew neck jumpers on sale, at the moment about £70.00.

If that’s the case, never, I’m going to ask my dd to send the zebra skirt back for me, I’m just not risking it after my Kensington falling apart. Once I took it off last night and realised the shirring had undone inn several places and button holes unravelling. It is actually falling apart after one gentle wear. And I’ve lost another half stone since I bought it, so it’s loose - ie not me putting a strain on it. Re Hush/JL that’s legally correct, your contract is with the retailer and it says somewhere in their T&Cs that they can’t deal with issues arising from items purchased in JL.

About to checkout from JL with a couple of hush items and suddenly wondered if anybody has a code for hush website to make it cheaper? I threw away my catalogue but I bet there was one in that!

Wore the M&S dupe leopard leggings today- 3 people complimented me on them just on the school run! Wore with an oversize sweater and trainers. So thanks for the link!
@ella I’ve just got your snuggly long black cardi from Tesco’s (went in for bread🤷🏻‍♀️). It’s lovely- how does it wash?

I was in M&as at the weekend, they actually have some good stuff in at the moment, some of the shoe boots are lovely, they had a check skirt very like the hush one & some skater dresses in plain & floral prints for 29.00 which were a good weight & hung nicely(its on the must have bit on website) also some really good pleated skirts, quite a bit of leopard print stuff as well.
