Anyone else have the Emmanuelle dress from either this season or earlier? I ordered the navy with gold stars and sized up to a 12 as I was worried about the shoulder/upper arms fitting too tight But now worried it’ll be super loose on the body and make me look preggers

I have it @Luckylollies in the black and found it true to size. I am an 8/10 so ordered an 8 knowing that Hush often comes up large!

I have it in the 12 lucky and it is roomy but fine

I am worried about the wide neck jersey top now as I ordered small and looks like it's going to be too big. Honestly the sizing has no predictability at all. I am somewhere between a 10-12 on top and would never fit in an extra small anywhere else, I would usually go for medium. To me XS is a 6-8. It's total vanity sizing and completely hit and miss. Im starting to think I'll be sending the entire order back the moment it arrives 😟

Remus I ordered the peekaboo back in spring and sent it straight back. It clung in all the wrong places. I was a bit disappointed as I loved the low cut neck line.

My local John Lewis has Hush clothes now, but they only had one of the things I'm waiting to have delivered - the faded grey star t-shirt. It's really nice, but I was surprised not to see anything else that I loved.

Another one here who ordered the peek a boo previously and returned, the lace on mine was faulty and I couldn’t be bothered to reorder.
I’m a fairly standard 10 Ella and all my wide jersey tops are xs. They are pricey but actually very flattering for a plain top.

Is it worth me ordering an XS anyway? And just returning the small when it comes? Don't suppose you could put a picture on for me nearly?

Thanks redtulip12 I’m between 10-12 for Hush but find that for their dresses with not much give, they sometimes are a bit tight across the shoulders

ella, there is no way you will need an S. That’s what I’m wearing in my earlier pics, and I considered an XS but it had a slight pull across the bust.

AlsoElla my last order because it was so large ( ie 2 parkas) chunky knitwear etc came in 4 boxes but only 1 returns label. Thankfully I’ve got a couple of spares, so if you order xs and end up sending back the Parka and some of the other stuff you’ll at least have a 2nd returns label unless you already have spares.

Ella - yes: it's really nasty clingy fabric. It felt really cheap. I think I might try this as a possible alternative.

ella I had the XS in both the crew and v wide neck tops and think that the S would have been too big on me ( and I'm still 12 on top sometimes 14 )

Ive been wearing my jolly green linen boyfriend jumper ( possibly only for the 2nd time this summer ) today.. it s S and now is really oo big on me :(

That's gorgeous, Laska. I've got a similar White Company one (charity shop £15, so even better!). Merino, but with three quarter length kimono-esque sleeves. It's very cosy!
