For £900 - Mulberry Medium Lily

Can you not up your budget?

ShirleyPhallus · 15/08/2018 19:05

I’d buy a bench Wink

Mulberry for me too - a Bayswater if you could stretch to the extra now they’ve gone up in price

CatherineMaitland · 15/08/2018 19:08

I'd buy 3 from somewhere like M Hulot. Well, not all from there, but something like that, beautifully made bags but without a big label and the price tag to match, and slightly unusual.

ThisIsNotARealAvo · 15/08/2018 19:16

I'd get one from see by Chloe. I'm liking a grey one atm.

Nebularin · 15/08/2018 19:20

I'd buy a Bayswater, too. A small Bayswater, it has a cross body strap, and you'll still have change from £900.

papersmile · 15/08/2018 19:27

Have a look at Mimi Berry

sexnotgender · 15/08/2018 19:30

If you can get your hands on a Mulberry Darla satchel they are fantastic bags. I’ve used my pheasant green one virtually every day for about 5 years.

sexnotgender · 15/08/2018 19:30

Daria not Darla! Bloody autocorrect.

practicallyperfectmummy · 15/08/2018 21:02

Mulberry have a great sale in December wait until then and get more bag for your money!

Summerisdone · 15/08/2018 21:08

My personal favourites for both quality and also design are Kate Spade, Lulu Guinness and Coach. For the size you're after you'd be able to get 2-3 bags from any of these designers too, or maybe one and put the rest of the money towards something else.

Cauliflowershower · 15/08/2018 21:09

I came on to see if anyone had mentioned benchesWink
I still love the mulberry Alexa but they don’t make them any more

newsfromnowhere · 15/08/2018 21:25

Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 Bandouliere (i.e. with cross body strap). Classic, lightweight, won't go out of fashion, holds loads, wipes clean, great for travel, fairly indestructible.

heattreated · 15/08/2018 21:55

I'd buy a Speedy with strap in 25 or a 30 too.

SophieSellerman · 15/08/2018 21:58

Another vote for Mulberry. I have one in oxblood, but can't remember the model. It had to accommodate an iPad!

heattreated · 15/08/2018 22:15

i think i'd also like the larger mulberry lily bag or even the small one as still roomy enough.

Whwhywhy · 15/08/2018 22:37

I’ll look these up. I have a Bayswater (which I bought for for £600 years ago). Cos they are dearer now I wondered if there is any other brand to try.

I really don’t want two or 3 bags. I’ve bought a couple of £400 bags before which aren’t half as good value as my mulberry in terms of lasting if you see what I mean.

I've used my LV neverfull practically every day for over 4 years and it's still in perfect condition Smile I love it

SealSong · 15/08/2018 22:43

I'd spend £50 on a bag and save the rest towards a holiday or better still give it to charity.

Ollivander84 · 15/08/2018 22:44

Charity
Holiday
BINGO!

SealSong · 15/08/2018 22:45

Haha! Grin. Busted.

Whwhywhy · 15/08/2018 22:45

Those mimi berry ones are nice but I do think I want something really special. I think the lily and the Chloe bags are lovely but a bit too bling for me.

Maybe I’d need to see them in the flesh?

Thank you for all your suggestions

I got the money selling crystal meth to pre schoolers so I don’t think it would be right to give it to charity.

I’d spend 10p on a Tesco carrier bag and make the rest in to a life size monument of myself crowing all over the mugs who spend any money at all on themselves

StylishMummy · 15/08/2018 22:49

LV Neverfull MM

Mulberry Bayswater with strap

Mulberry medium Lily

Chloe Marcie

wegotthis · 15/08/2018 22:51

I have a LV neverfull, probably a bit big for what you want but so practical. Also have a Gucci cross-body marmont which is v useful... next on the (wish) list is a slightly bigger one of these.
I had a mulberry bayswater but got rid of it as didn't find it very easy to use
