How old do you think I am?

Went back to really dark hair after years of lighter or crazy colours. A friend of mine always said how ageing black is,but as I was quite young I didn't care or mind. I'm less sure of myself now... So have it Mumsnet jury.

I would have said 35. I love healthy black hair. You really can't beat. Much better then the dry, brittle constantly 'dyed to death' blonde hair

I really appreciate the comments about lovely/healthy/shiny hair especially since it's normally so awful due to bleaching and the various things I do to it.

I would have said mid 40s but I don't think rainbow colour hair would have made me think differently.

Honestly anyone who said you were mid forties did so as they are annoyed at these 'how old do I look' threads or they are just been mean. No way do you look forties, I would have said around 28-31 age. The dark hair suits you, yes it very black now but after a few washes it will tone down.

I think you look lovely & your skin is just great. You've got a v friendly face. If it were me I'd go brown instead (brown hair is fab honestly!) and I agree with the pp who said you looked younger with the red hair.

I would have believed anything from 25 - 45, but would have guessed about 35. I totally agreed with the "you look welsh" comment though!

@ShirleyPhallus I normally do but I wanted a no "tricks" pic for honest opinions hence straight on,no makeup , filters etc. Haven't even covered the spots and hair dye stains.

Nope nothing done to lips or anything else. Hair is the only thing I mess about with.

Like a pp said you have eggless looks I think you’ll always look fab and be hard to pin an age on. I actually like the black I did look at the pics before I read your post and instantly guessed it would be about the black hair and ageing you but I actually think it suits you.
If you are paler in the winter though it might be a bit stark I’m just wondering if you have a bit of a tan just now? Suits your current colouring well.

Well, I thought late 20s or early 30s. I don't think the colour is great, but you do have a lovely smile and amazing skin so you can carry it off.

@LooksBetterWithAFilter yup I've got a tan on and freckles galore. I do go quite pale in the winter,but that's months away and who knows what I'll pick by then,not that I minded pale and black when I had it before.(late teens early 20's)

I think you're naturally pretty with great skin.

Your hair also looks in lovely condition, but I think it's a bit harsh/one tone , you'd maybe suit a warmer chestnut colour more. We normally do suit our natural hair colour better...😁
