Bought this. This is my only grownup bag.

I like nylon tote bags like the Ralph Lauren ones. Aren’t the Mulberry bags a bit of a cliché, by the way? I could afford one but have never felt drawn to that sort of bag.

Simple, leather, not with lots of fussy hardware or over blingy. Well looked after not scuffed or dirty.

I have two mulberrys and although I love them they are so bloody heavy I often can't be bothered to use them.
I bought a few bags from an etsy seller called ' ginger and brown bags' and they are a fraction of the price of a mulberry and just lovely.
I have two cross body bags a silver with a brown strap and a black that I use every single day one for winder and the silver for summer. They are really well made and light.
I'm just about to invest in a larger one.
I'd definitely have a look- the seller has an Instagram page too.

I’ve also got a Mulberry Bayswater. I love it but is it exceptionally heavy once filled with all my stuff!

Excuse the Christmas stuff in the picture. I'm quite pleased with this bag which is a prototype so a bit rough and ready and knocked up in rubbish leather. Hoping it will work well when I make it properly eventually in some decent quality stuff.

Aiming for something simple and hopefully fairly classic.

It's around my price point for a bag too so I have a few radley ones; some of the shapes are lovely and the leather is good quality, the nicer ones have more subtle or easily to hide branding too. I'll find you an example.

Something timeless, no blatant logo, excellent leather/fabric, well made, and versatile...like the Hermes Kelly bag (not my photo).

I agree with mulberry, I have three of the Bayswater's!

Also love the Chanel quilted bags which I have a few of and the celine box bags are lovely but I don't have any of those!
