I quite like it

OP posts:
IWouldBeSuperb · 23/05/2018 17:47

It looks a bit too dressing gowny to me - even on the model!

Twofishfingers · 23/05/2018 17:49

It's awful! Who buys this stuff? As it, who makes the business decision to buy this dress to sell in M&S? They should be sacked without notice.

SoleBizzz · 23/05/2018 17:50

I'm 50/50.

Sametimetomorrow · 23/05/2018 17:51

I’ve got one like that I put on after I’ve been in the bath.

TSSDNCOP · 23/05/2018 17:55

Nope, even the model looks as though she’s wearing a bath robe in the sitting down shot. I would look as though I was awarding prizes to the winner of the largest vegetable at the village fair.

Try Whistles, they’ve got some nice stripy bits and 20% off.

kathhere · 23/05/2018 17:56

Definitely dressing gown - why make the stripes so wide, could have looked so much better with different stripes!

Paintbox · 23/05/2018 17:56

I want to love it but the top part seems too baggy and makes it look like a dressing gown. If it was more fitted and maybe with narrower stripes it would work better.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/05/2018 17:57

Nice cut but it does look like a bath robe!

Sonder · 23/05/2018 18:40

I like it Blush I like the loose fit but I do agree narrower stripes might have worked better.

Bluntness100 · 23/05/2018 18:43

It's been mislabelled and mis shot. Thats defintely a dressing gown. I know as I had one just like it as a kid.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/05/2018 18:46

So did the little boy in The Snowman.

Hoppinggreen · 23/05/2018 18:48

No, just no

GinIsIn · 23/05/2018 18:50

I want to love it, but it’s clearly a dressing gown

annandale · 23/05/2018 18:52

I would like it as a tunic top but the skirt is awful IMO.

averylongtimeasspartacus · 23/05/2018 18:54

That dress encapsulates why M&S is going down the pan.

RavenLG · 23/05/2018 18:55

It looks a bit too dressing gowny to me - even on the model!
This

I think if the stripes we're skinnier it would be better (maybe)

halfwitpicker · 23/05/2018 18:56

Snowman Grin

Seriously op don't waste your money honey

codswallopandbalderdash · 23/05/2018 18:57

OMG its grim

Anotherdayanothernight · 23/05/2018 19:38

Is it a dressing gown?

GlassSuppers · 23/05/2018 19:42

Bananas in pyjamas,
Are coming down the stairs...

Atalune · 23/05/2018 20:05

I love it.

TERFragetteCity · 23/05/2018 20:07

She's even got slippers on.

Good for evening time and cocoa though. Not so good for daytime and meeting other humans.

scattercushion · 23/05/2018 20:09

If a beautiful model looks like a sack of spuds...

user1457017537 · 23/05/2018 20:11

It looks like a deckchair. I would put it on to take the rubbish out.

Bagadverts · 23/05/2018 20:11

First impression dressing gown so I wouldn't normally have clicked further. It looks just about OK in last photo with model obviously in outdoor shoes and with a bag.
