I quite like it

The stripes are too wide and it fits the model like a dressing gown. Not good.

ToManderleyAgain · 23/05/2018 20:17

I’m not keen, much prefer this: www.baukjen.com/uk/m/shop/baukjen/dresses/marley-shirt-dress-blue-with-white-stripe.htm

macnab · 23/05/2018 20:25

My god Shock It's like an adult Andy Pandy costume.

goose1964 · 23/05/2018 21:50

It might look better on

amymel2016 · 23/05/2018 21:53

I love it, it never crossed my mind about being like a dressing gown. I think it's perfect for summer.

EdWinchester · 23/05/2018 21:55

This

Maybeicanhelp · 23/05/2018 21:58

It's shite.

HTH Grin.

laramara · 23/05/2018 22:02

Yet more evidence of M&S poor designs, sorry!

Bluntness100 · 23/05/2018 22:25

It might look better on

This sentence is incomplete? Did you post too soon?

It might look better on After you have your bath and are ready for bed?
It might look better on Over your pyjamas?
It might look better on Andy pandy?

🤣

Wildlingofthewest · 23/05/2018 22:26

It looks like my husbands old dressing gown that I throw on in the morning to make coffee........

QuoadUltra · 23/05/2018 22:32

That dress was on a woman photo’d for the bbc coverage of the Chelsea flower show. I’ll try to find it

Bluntness100 · 23/05/2018 22:34

Oh god. It's this years pink dress 🤣🤣🤣

QuoadUltra · 23/05/2018 22:34

Here’s the photo. It looks fine if it is the same dress.

Bluntness100 · 23/05/2018 22:38

It looks like she's sitting there in her dressing gown, Confused

JustbackfromBangkok · 23/05/2018 22:39

Makes me think of deck chairs and old fashioned men's pyjamas.

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 23/05/2018 22:45

I thought deck chair too!

Bagadverts · 23/05/2018 22:45

I think it's a take on this one from wiggykit. I saw in The Times as a recommendation

www.wiggykit.com/new-products/market-dress

Nakedavenger74 · 24/05/2018 10:18

Wouldn't look so dressing gowny if it was tied at the back rather than the front and with a less matchy belt.

The pic of the model sitting down looks like she's just out of the bath.

LIZS · 24/05/2018 10:29

Agree, bathrobey. There is an article in the dm (sorry! ) today demobstrating that it looks good on no-one of whatever size.

RatherBeRiding · 24/05/2018 11:22

It really does look like a dressing gown - and a badly fitting one at that. If the stripes were a lot thinner and the cut more tailored it could look quite nice. Maybe.

LIZS · 24/05/2018 11:24

They've used similar fabric on other styles, the sundress looks more tailored and flattering.

Fabellini · 24/05/2018 11:25

Disagreeing with the majority, I think it’s nice. I also think it probably looks better in real life when you can see the fabric properly.
Quite fancy it for my holidays!

nipersvest · 24/05/2018 11:27

it's rather billowy, as in a lot of fabric for a wrap dress, might look better sized down so it skims a bit better. Zara are good for dresses at the moment.

Lokisglowstickofdestiny · 24/05/2018 11:27

It's a bathrobe. This is why they are shutting stores down.
