Yes, the Baukjen dress is lovely. This, on the other hand, is not.

The pics on the M & S site are really shockingly bad - and that's where you'd expect the dress to be shown at its absolute best. So if it looks so dreadful there, it'll probably look significantly more creased, saggy, over-large, shapeless and sack-like in RL.

Way to go, M & S Hmm

Looks like a beach wrap

EnriqueTheRingBearingLizard · 25/05/2018 08:34

It’s not even a wrap dress and can’t be adjusted to fit when on. The reviews are awful.

carterfyne · 25/05/2018 09:15

it's hugely unflattering.... even in the photos!

Butcher boy bathrobe? It's hideous.

I came across this dress on their website when browsing for their linen shift dresses, which I do like - immediate thought, dressing gown or bath wrap.

Saw the title of this thread and so not surprised it's come up here. I'm the least fashion conscious Mum here, so quite pleased it's universally disliked, it boosts my confidence. That doesn't say much when it comes to M&S these days though. Hideous. How do they continually get it so wrong when public opinion gives them so many clues. Reviews are quite revealing - as indeed is the top of the dress it would seem.

Shame really. M&S is heading in the wrong direction fast.

On reflection it would probably swamp me , I would take a 6 so would be hidden in the vast swathes of fabric.
