That top looks good with the piquante Santana also .. soy
I must go and pack for weekend ..

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 15:07

Just to say (although I'm sure you all already know this) that REVIEW18 gets free delivery, presumably all year.
Never I love your outfit today. The shoes are fab.

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 15:10

Laska can you report back on the Richmond's as they are a Boden classic and would be nice to see them in real life!
Boden have give me 3 £10 vouchers already this year! If you put something in your basket and don't check out for a while you often find they send a voucher after a while - little tip. I buy a lot of my DC clothes from Boden as the quality is excellent and it can all be sold on very easily in FB selling sites.

ilovecherries · 07/06/2018 15:20

I love the Richmonds. They wash and wear beautifully. I had them in every size from a 22 to a 14 (did I mention before that I’m now a 12 - you may not have heard GrinGrin), and I got around the £40 mark per pair on eBay when I sold them.

neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 15:35

I had my eye on the Richmond trousers in pollen Laska but they have always been OOS. I don't really like the other colours/patterns.

Btw Laska that vest is excellent value. I was tempted to buy the fringed one on the Hush website but that it so similar and of course SO much cheaper. You could have one in every colour. I think I will purchase one and see how I get on.
Ella Thanks. I took no care in getting myself dressed today. Just slung on whatever was clean and then the sandals arrived and popped them on. The cardigan is from Zara and I picked it up from the charity shop for £4.50. I wear it all the time!

neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 15:48

I quite like the greek blue daisy chain and the red sunglasses [they are also sold out] but I like the pollen ones the best and so do most people by the looks of it!

Laska5772 · 07/06/2018 16:04

No ... I dot think you did mention that Cherries how did that happen then? Grin

Never a 12 and 14 were in earlier but I'm afraid I grabbed them both to try.. I have red Richmonds in 12 from when i was last 'thin' and they are only v.v slightly too tight now, so I am hoping the 12s will be ok in these. They wash really well I've found

Ella thats good tip.. I rarely get the vouchers from them . Ill go put something in the basket now.

OK so for the weekend I am taking the green Santana and that Boden top. We have family 60th party but may not be warm enough to wear that at a bbq..
Also the Next crops, Hush Stevies , Hush Liberty shirt ( have I mentioned just how wonderful I think this is WinkGrin?). Yellow love sweat , green linen boyfriend jumper , hibiscus faded T and coral Linen T. and a Joules pink/blue ombre T

Ill have to wear saltwaters though even if it rains because of toe.. Sad
.I had been planning to wear the print trousers and silky top to bbq but the coral flats i bought to wear with them from Boden wont go over sore toe comfortably.. and I dont really have anything else apart from saltwaters that are ok to wear at the moment

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 16:14

I can't wait for my skirt to arrive now. But I have to say I won't be wearing it the way it's styled in the website.. what are they thinking putting it with a dark pink top? It looks bizarre! Really can't see how that entices anyone to buy it to be honest.

Laska5772 · 07/06/2018 16:18

ella I like it with my Guava raw edge T! here Style faux pas do you think?

Laska5772 · 07/06/2018 16:19

oh look at the guava Ton that link and you'll see what i mean..

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 16:28

Oops sorry Laska! I'm embarrassed now.. I didn't mean that too but the pink one with the diamond on that it's styled with on the website (scurries away to hide from Laska) Blush

Laska5772 · 07/06/2018 16:29

its ok.... I did it deliberately ( hehehehehe ).. although I have tried it o with the guava..

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 16:31

Not a style faux pas at all.. I am certainly no style guru and am known to be very conservative (boring) in my tastes.. hope I haven't offended you WineThanks

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 16:32

Grin I do have a guava pink tee from white stuff, maybe I should break out of my comfort zone and give the two a try together.

ilovecherries · 07/06/2018 16:38

I need to be back in full time employment - not to afford new clothes but have opportunities to wear them!

Ellapaella · 07/06/2018 16:46

I have more lovely clothes now than opportunities to wear them! So after my skirt arrives the only thing I really want is the star pendant (the long one that you and Laska have). I'm going to try and be sensible and start putting money aside for the Autumn/Winter collection (my favourite season!).

neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 16:47

Well ironed the trousers and they are definitely shorter. Looking back on the photo in the previous thread [ I had to go back about 3] they were coming over my shoes. Now they aren't :( Annoying. They are just below my ankle now. Will still wear but not as elegant tbh.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 16:52

Personally speaking I don't like the tee and the skirt together either but maybe its ok in RL?
I think they have some very odd combinations sometimes Ella
Laska Maybe the guava looks better because it is linen to finer material? I don't like the colour of the piquante [ no offence intended to anyone] . Its just not a colour I gravitate too. I think its just too orange for me.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 16:53

Ive never liked the colour terracotta and never worn it.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 16:54
  • and the piquante to me is terracotta. Then again, I haven't seen it in RL so maybe its a bit darker?
OP posts:
ilovecherries · 07/06/2018 17:01

Nooooo! They will certainly be too short for me if they shrink. Has the stripe shrunk the same amount not as the trouser, or is it puckering along the stripe as well, never. I wonder how much longer I can safely get away with being a minger?

Laska5772 · 07/06/2018 17:04

of course you haven't Ella we all like different things . I haven't actually worn them together yet! and may not , but i have tried them on and quite liked it.

I dont have the Hush pendant btw. This is mine not so shiny as the Hush one .. but thats why I like it more .

Never Yes, but 'd say a more 'golden' terracotta ( not so red IYKWIM)
Paprika i reckon.. definitely on the same spectrum as terracotta though . Are you going to complain about the trousers, it shouldn't happen , should it? terracotta though . Are you going to complain about the trousers? ( or are they marked dry clean only? )

neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 17:08

Im going to return them [ the side stripe trousers].
Bit annoyed. They are saying on the website to wash them on a cool wash then iron whilst damp. No mention of it on the label. Not on. I washed them as per instruction on the label. I am going to email them at some point. I'm actually doing it out of principle. They have clearly put that on the website to cover themselves.

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 07/06/2018 17:10

Cherries They have shrunk equally. No puckering. They look the same, just shorter.
If you are washing yours, just hand wash cold and then once damp, iron then to stretch. They definitely stretched more after ironing. They are not the same length though.
