Hi all! Room for one more?

I'm a very recent Hush convert - I only have harems at the moment but lusting after lots of things. I absolutely love my harems and wear them at every opportunity. The first time I wore them though, my husband asked why I was still wearing my pyjamas five minutes before we were due to go out...

Looking at the hush PR shots there looks like numerous things not on the website yet. Infact Dave There is a dress very similar to the black Portobello one but in lilac. I wonder if they are leaving these for 'High summer' Do they even do high summer? I know Toast do.

Sadly that top was in the A/W for xmas. I ordered it but didn't keep it. It was beautiful and not that expensive for hush. I don't know why it is in with S/S tbh.
The leopard print tee is great. I have already worn mine.

ooh do you recommend it then never? Is it nice material?

OK...box number 1 contained 4 items.

Canterbury dress. SO disappointed. I swear it looks and feels like the lining of a layered dress. I was expecting more of a cheesecloth fabric. The neckline was weird; apparently it is adjustable but it just looked awful. Going back, very quickly.

Cropped harems. Not 100% convinced but I love the regular ones so much and I feel these will be fab in warmer weather. I am not used to such a cropped length on me (not in the last 20 years anyway) but I think I will keep.

Black denim mini in 14. Happily, it is too big on me. I have a 12 on the way so this one will go back. However it is very short (I am 5', 6.5") and so it would be relegated to high summer only (with tanned legs,
and avoiding need to bend over at any time)

Frayed Star jeans. I should have opted for the 14 to try as well. The 12 is just a liiiiiitle tight on my thighs and tum. I know denim relaxes a bit over time AND I am on a weight loss mission so I may keep them. They are not as relaxed as other boyfriend style jeans I have from GAP and they definitely have no stretch in them compared to the Holly jeans. If I keep them I will have to hang them up on the fridge door as an incentive.

I think by Sunday/Monday I should have the other order with denim mini in 12, Portobello in 14 (12 also on the way as it was not available in the first order) and blue slub T. I will be happy enough if I keep no more than 4 items from all the hauls.

Its slightly better material than the cotton slub. Its the same shape as the slub. I love it with black. I think Soyo posted a pic back on the other thread. So did I. Yes, I would recommend it. Its pretty unusual to get a tee with leopard print on it. Did you miss the pictures?

I think I saw someone had posted a pic but can't remember who it was..my brain is a bit fried this week!

miffy so disappointing to read the canterbury dress isn't up to scratch. Hope your Portobello dress doesn't cause you the same grief mine has!

I was thrilled with the Hush star PJs when I opened that pressie. Dh is a Good'Un alright! I only wear them for lounging in though. cant sleep in PJs . unless its really cold . The thing with silk though its expensive its remarkably resilient. these Hush ones although coming up for 2 years old and have been worn and washed a lot, still look as good as new!. I wash them at 30deg in Ecover .

I have another pair of silk Pjs that are about 8 years old and which still look good.

Very late to the party I know, but can owners of the cropped harem trousers talk to me...

Are you they super comfy and can they really be dressed up a bit or are they more for lounging in?

I like the look of the charcoal grey ones the best but they are ops in most sizes, so the black would be my next choice.

Theres a couple of white graduating to orange dresses also that haven appeared ,. one looks like an Alanis. I seem to think that when i bough my aqua kaftan last year or the one before (which I have decided I am not going to ebay now) that was a late addition to the summer range so maybe some more will pop up n June.. we always go away in June and I had it for my holiday then..

Dave The dress looks great.. just keep it , its annoying but sometimes its just best ,esp as its the dress you really wanted.. .
its darn cold and foggy here! Maybe too cold for the leopard maxi and little silky top i was planning on wearing to party this evening . have fake tanned my legs esp for it

dave sorry, ive never taken to the idea of cropped harems so cant give advice on those..

Place marking - although not buying at present, still enjoying everyone else's pics etc.

Well I wear mine for lounging around but I have seen them styled with strappy sandals and a tee.

The ones below obv are the long ones. I think they look good.

I think when I start wearing things for lounging around in, I cant seem to get my head around them styled smart iykwim. Its like wearing a tee to bed and then wearing it for going out! Not sure if that makes sense but it does to me.
