Laska Its meant to be very cold in the morning and warm up. When are you going? I think you should be fine. Just sling a little cardi or jacket on and you will be good to go.

Anyone tried the Layla Dress? somehow Ive only just noticed it!

Also having not looked before at the nightwear I think i like the striped culotte PJs however I will only get those if they are in the sale. ..also the monstera cotton PJs .. ( but something else i dont need - see above, another advantage to the hush silk ones is that they dont need ironing as they are a textured silkGrin)

V back is also nice, wish they had it in red... I love then look of the red lace back dress from the front,., but not the lace back which would be no good for me with the industrial sized bras I have to wear .

Laska5772 · 19/05/2018 08:25

Its a party upstairs in a pub Never lots of dancing as friend is a local band and lots of her musician friends will be there .
Hopefully the fog will burn off..sea fog ..you can never tell.

Btw the way I am sure that you'll be excited to hear that yesterday I went on the floating bridge ! That's the full range of Island water transport in a week! ( except car ferry) Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 08:39

I haven't but have dresses from hush with that shape. It looks pretty. I think you would really suit it laska. The colour would look great on you.

I am SO going to the sample sale next year.

I did send for the crop harems but I looked liked I was wearing a pair of ABBA knickerbockers. They were back in the PO 30 mins after they were delivered.

I've not got any hush on today. Indigo linen/cotton Lola Whistles dress, Alex Monroe necklace, tan fitflop lulu sandals.

DavetheCat2001 · 19/05/2018 09:01

Hot and sunny already here in London.

Waiting outside the PO for it to open to send my size 10 Porto dress back, then off to work for a couple of hours.

Wearing Hush star jeans and yelliw sloppy j today, and Porto dress later when I meet my friend Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 09:07

Well I am wearing my hush denim pencil skirt. Bought I last year. My hush star tee in blush and red. Had to stick a longline tee under it for now as I feel a bit self conscious that it is a bit see through on me. Clarks flat slides currently. Its very sunny with a bit of cloud now and again. I am off to the post office. Have to send a few parcels for ebay and pick up a doll for my dd's birthday on Thursday. She will be 7 :) She is so into Barbie.

Laska I’ve got the Layla dress, I really like it. It’s a nicely weighted fabric and doesn’t crease. I was unsure as it’s 100% polyester. I imagine though for those large of nork it could be a bit tight across the front.

ilovecherries · 19/05/2018 09:36

Aw, the barbie days, I miss them. Had my last baby at 40 so was very out of step with my peers, most of whom were approaching the exam years, while I was enjoying Barnie again.

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 09:39

Well Cherries I had my children at - 19, 21, 39, 40, 43!
I have done this as a young mum and as an older one! I actually prefer having my children older. Always felt I was missing out when I had my older children. I have older sons and now I have the pleasure of having two young dd's. It is a novelty! I also now have one grandson.

Its kind of like having two families. Like two generations. My older ds are nearly 31!!!!

We’ve finished the barbie days - still into Lego elves though😂😂. Had Ds at 21 and Dd at 35 , must be a Hushita trend !

duckling84 · 19/05/2018 10:47

Does anyone have the Marissa dress? I keep looking at it and thinking it is beautiful on the model but not sure it will suit my 5'5" size 12/14 frame.
I had my babies at 19, 24, 27 and 31. My friends are only just starting their families in their mid 30s and I am very much done. But it is strange thinking my eldest will have finished her gcses before my youngest starts school.

Ellapaella · 19/05/2018 12:20

I had my first children at 22, 30 and 35! So just as one finishes a school another one starts! I love the big age gaps although sometimes I feel I'm stuck on Groundhog Day with Thomas the Tank Engine 😁
My youngest will be 4 this year. Someone posted a pic of the Layla dress a couple of threads back, it looked lovely.

Ellapaella · 19/05/2018 12:22

My eldest doing his GCSE's now and youngest won't start formal school until next September. It all flies by so quickly though.

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 12:23

I love the marissa dress. I keep looking at it too but in the picture where she is wearing the green, it looks a bit low cut? Fine if that doesn't bother you. Also there is lace at the top which coupled with the low cut might just be a bit too much for me and because of the style of the dress, I doubt you would be comfy wearing a cami under it. You could wear a crop top kind of thing under it I suppose.
I have now changed into my hush denim shorts :)

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 12:25

There are so many of us on here with a big age gap! Mine however is 18 years between my ds and my dd!!! [ who is 11 now going on 17!]

I have just go the one - he is 28 in a couple of weeks. Dh also has one.. she is 30 now ,we met at uni as older single parents and have been together 25 yrs now but we have 3 DGcs 5,3,and 2.

Nearly yes I reckon the layla will look a bit 'shelfy' on me

Laska5772 · 19/05/2018 12:51

Still v misty here sadly, the sun keeps having a go though.

I do like the Marissa in Green , I saw the top n JL and its a lovely colour but it may be a bit young on me..

neveradullmoment99 · 19/05/2018 13:14

That's a shame its so misty. I guess by what you said its quite typical of the IOW. Hope the sun pops out before you go. The marissa top isn't too young for you Laska I think it would flatter all ages.
