It looks like the pull is on the reverse already? If that is the case, just knot it. If you want you can cut the excess of after the knot. Make sure it is tightly knotted before doing it.

Thank you never - I'll give that a go

Try this

Longtime Hush fan/lurker but finally have a reason to come out of the closet!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/06/2018 21:23

Similar to the way that I do it but I just pull it through the back and knot.

@jilliwilliwoo thanks!

And welcome to the thread

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2018 22:39

I've ordered the Nine dress..it was out of stock in 8 already on the Hush website, so got it from JL. I fully intend to send it back if it's not fabulous.

I did consider the Bay dress too, but I'm a bit conscious that it needs to be worn bra-less.

Ella hope you manage to fix up your jumper..so annoying when stuff like that happens.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/06/2018 23:27

Ooooh do show us a picture of it when it arrives.

I have, it does look lovely, just hoping it's not a bit young for me, but we shall see!

AFingerofFudge · 03/06/2018 09:40

So today I have the Aries top on. It is fabulous, I love it! The cotton is so soft. Excuse the slippers!Grin

Fudge love the tshirt! (And the slippers!)
Nearly it's nice - what will you wear it with shoe-wise? Are you pleased with it?

neveradullmoment99 · 03/06/2018 13:47

Ella How did you get on with your jumper?'
I am wearing my red V-neck t-shirt, Hush bf jeans in dark wash and my red saltwaters are getting their first airing since last year :) The sun however has packed up and gone away today. Its very humid though. My AF came on today. Thought that was me, menopausal. Bit pissed off!!! I had stopped for around 7 months.

Sorry to be so personal Blush

Ella not really sure - the models wearing it with Birkenstock type sandles. I could imagine wearing with thick tights and boots in the autumn so possibly wrong season for me to buy. I just think it might be a bit frumpy albeit nice fabric and comfortable.

You know when you like something but just think you could do better! I think probably I'm not tall enough for it 5'4

Ellapaella · 03/06/2018 14:04

I think it would be lovely in winter with tights and black boots (Chelsea boots or even DM's) but equally you could dress it right up for summer evenings out with a black heel and nice earrings. Thin strap silver sandals would work too for day wear. It's nice.
Never I've been painting with the DC this am and just about to go and pick eldest son up from airport so will have a go at the jumper when I get back. I'll let you know if it goes ok.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/06/2018 19:32

I think it looks ok. Not that fussed for the print especially. The shape looks ok on you. I just don't love it. I think I its the length. You need to be careful to wear something funky like chunky wedges to stop the frump factor. I agree with Ella Tights and boots in winter would be a winner.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/06/2018 19:34

I am 5ft 5 and its a similar length on me. I have had a few of these dresses and have felt like you and flogged them on ebay after wearing a few times.

First day of semi-retirement for me! I have celebrated by doing precisely nothing ! (except reading a book - a luxury) .
also wearing m y Hush Valerie dress from last summer.
this is the first time I have worn it !

I bought it for my hols but wasn't thin enough to wear it when the time came..(id had an accident in the spring and then comfort ate my way through several months of the resulting sciatica, and for the rest of the year..)

But I am thin enough now!! Grin

Nearlyadoctor · 04/06/2018 17:04

Boxed up and sent back Never exactly what you predicted I think would have happened, worn once possibly twice and then ebayed.

SoyYo · 04/06/2018 17:47

nearly sorry I’m late replying (having difficulty keeping up with thread lately) but I did order that dress and returned, partly because there was a small gap at bust level due the my 34FF and already it was enourmous elsewhere and just wrong for my shape, even though I liked the fabric very much it just didn’t flatter me...

Laska Congrats on your semi retirement!

SoyYo · 04/06/2018 17:58

Having said all that nearly I thought the style looked good on you in the photo, but if you didn’t feel good in it then agree best to send back...there’ll always be others to try Grin

duckling84 · 04/06/2018 18:03

Congrats on your semi retirement laska enjoy it!

I've decided to order a new pair of saltwaters this evening as I can get a very good deal on them but the question is - should I go for yellow or rose gold? I already have tan, worried the rose gold will be quite similar but will also go with more then the yellow. But I love yellow. Oh I hate making decisions
