How are their sandels fitting?

neveradullmoment99 · 01/06/2018 18:49

I have the red saltwaters. I really love them. Haven't worn them this year yet. They are still tucked away in my cupboard. I really could do with a neutral pair though. I am not spending atm though.

Looking good Dave have fun!

Whitesea · 01/06/2018 19:21

You look great Dave.

Saltwaters look great too. I’m always dithering about buying a pair as my calves are thick and flat sandals look quite dumpy on me but my child wears them and this year I think I will join in with the Saltie love.

ilovecherries · 01/06/2018 20:27

I'd love saltwaters, they are beautiful, but between my PF on one foot, my morton's neuroma on the other, and my gammy leg, I'm just going to content myself with the fact I can wear fit flops this year!

DavetheCat2001 · 01/06/2018 23:25

Thanks ella and whitesea.

Had a lovely evening, nice to get the odd night away from the chaos of children!

I bought a tan pair if SW recently which I also love but the red ones are my faves I think

Laska5772 · 02/06/2018 07:54

Those jeans look great on you laska. Really nice fit.

I'm contemplating ordering the pink nini dress, just to try on...Halo

I also like the royal blue Bay dress.. thoughts?

Talk me out if it.......?

Ellapaella · 02/06/2018 09:45

Dave talk you out of it? When has that ever happened on this thread Grin
For what it's worth I think the blue bay dress is lovely and if it was me choosing between the two I'd go for that one. The pink dress is very nice but so similar in style to your portabello.

Ellapaella · 02/06/2018 09:46

Ps never and Laska you both look fab, very summery. I got the tan saltwater sandals and am now wishing I'd got a more versatile colour as I'm not sure about tan with a lot of my outfits.

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2018 09:55

Haha ella! You're right, we all enable each other on this thread!

The thing about the Bay dress is it probably needs to be worn braless, which is fine for me as I am not nork-blessed, but could it look a bit 'nipply' do you think.. a look I don't like at all!

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2018 09:58

I have the tan SW's too and find them really versatile. The nice thing about the portobello dress is any colour of shoe can work really.

Which colour SW's would you choose? I really like the bright yellow ones!

Laska5772 · 02/06/2018 10:04

gold all the way (the pale gold) they go with everything ! Smile

Laska5772 · 02/06/2018 10:05

I love the shiny turquoise , but cant justify any more

Ellapaella · 02/06/2018 10:14

Yes I think gold or even yellow! I do love my tan though, they get enough wear so I'll have to wait until next summer before I get another pair.

mrtumblesmum · 02/06/2018 15:03

laska are stevies the jeans? Do they still do them? I love them on you! What size are they if you don't mind me asking? It's just what I'm after...

Laska5772 · 02/06/2018 15:12

mrtumbles Thanks! Smile Yes the jeans are the Stevies . I got them in winter sale so not current. But they may popup inthe summer sale at end of june. These are a 12 they are just right for my shape it seems so was lucky but I do know some people were not keen on the seams on the upper thigh front.. I reckon it will still worth looking to see if they are back in the sale again in a few week as Hush do tend to put previous seasons stuff in also. (These were last summers )

mrtumblesmum · 02/06/2018 16:27

Thanks Laska xx

Ellapaella · 02/06/2018 18:47

I'm wearing my boxy Carrie jumper today, I really love this jumper and would love the bright pink one but it's too expensive at the moment. This is just right for warmer days/evenings as its actually quite a light knit but hangs so well. Irritatingly I've pulled it slightly and a stitch has come loose so if any of you know how I might be able to fix it myself I'd be so grateful. If my Mum was nearby she'd do it for me but unfortunately she lives 280 miles away and I won't be seeing her until July!

What I would do is get a needle and carefully push the thread through. I find what works best is the non pointy end but you may need to gently nudge it through with the pointy bit. You only have to get a bit of the thread through to the inside and just gently pull it through so it is on the reverse. When that is done , pull it gently so that all the loose thread comes through to the reverse and it doesn't show on the correct side. Once you have it there, knot it carefully and cut off the excess.
