..so unless you are really 'in love' with something I would say hold off..

Ellapaella · 29/05/2018 18:57

Redtulip thanks Smile Ive never measured my leg but I think around 30 inches - back in the old days when we all used to wear bootcut trousers and jeans I'd buy a 32inch leg to guarantee the bottom of the jean covered my ankles. Skinny jeans I buy a 30 inch leg which leaves a bit of ankle uncovered.

ilovecherries · 29/05/2018 19:25

Yeah, I'm the same never, there isn't much point of having a mass of holiday-type clothes. In the end, I returned the Bloomsbury dress, the orange panel maxi and the Kerala blouse. Refunds were rapid this time, so there is a nice wodge in paypal for the next time I see something nice. I may yet re-buy the Bloomsbury but I need to be clearer how I round wear it. Also exchanged the leopard t shirt for a small, it had a lot of loose fabric. VBD isn't dry yet, so can't assess if it's stretched out.

duckling84 · 29/05/2018 20:34

How much do things usually get reduced by in the sale? I love the Grecian in the mini geo print. I have a £10 voucher so am wondering if I'm better off buying now or waiting for the sale as it will be for August.

EachandEveryone · 29/05/2018 22:51

Are there any discount codes for first orders? Has the offer with the £10 off finished? I’m just waiting for pay day at midnight!

redtulip12 · 30/05/2018 00:16

@EachandEveryone I have a £10 off first order referral code I can email you if you pm me your email address

EachandEveryone · 30/05/2018 00:53

Thanks ive sent you a message

Laska5772 · 30/05/2018 07:59

The new stuff is on John Lewis website now .and probably in the shops .. so now i'm tempted try the ombre dress at after all.

but it is too expensive for what its is I know that ..

DavetheCat2001 · 30/05/2018 08:31

I wish there was a JL nearer me. Despite being in London, the nearest one is in Kingston I think which is a right schlep for me to get to.

Plus it's half term so I am trapped by small children this week...I'm done in already!

Whitesea · 30/05/2018 08:47

There is a top similar to the Finsbury on the Monsoon website. The Monsoon one is cheaper and imo looks more expensive. I can’t link it as am on phone but it should be easy enough to find x

missfliss · 30/05/2018 08:57

Can't be doing with the wait for the Leopard maxi to be available, so I bought this one from never fully dressed instead.

The print is much bigger and it's a silky wrap style but I love it actually!

So just posting in case is useful to anyone else

Thats really nice fliss i reckon once the hush ones come in it will be so late in the season that they will go straight in the sale!( but i suppose depends on the waiting list)
I was just lucky to find an odd one - probably a return- in JL

Pigeonpost · 30/05/2018 11:45

What is the sizing like on the boyfriend jeans please? I'm a 14-16 really but have to have a M in the harems and Amies as L won't stay up!

duckling84 · 30/05/2018 11:53

Lovely delivery today. S/S ivy in black in xs, Marissa dress in the 10, tattoo heart t in small and the orange Stella t in small.

All look lovely duckling. Do you prefer the smaller dress?

DavetheCat2001 · 30/05/2018 15:03

Love the Marissa dress!

ella has yours arrived yet?

duckling84 · 30/05/2018 15:27

Definitely prefer the smaller dress ella which means I will have to return the 12. Will probably post tomorrow so if anyone is after one keep checking the site

ilovecherries · 30/05/2018 16:07

Pigeon, if the jeans you fancy don't have Lycra, I'd try the 16 first. Jeans are the one Hush thing that just doesn't fit me though - they are all huge on the hips and thighs, giving me unattractive crotch business, and too tight on the waist, giving me muffin top.

missfliss, LOVE that skirt.

duckling, you look lovely in everything. Marissa looks especially good, and the Stella tee.

Ellapaella · 30/05/2018 16:54

Dave yes but I've sent it back today - didn't even try on as it was quite thin and I'm trying to be sensible, i wouldn't get much wear out if it up here in the North East and I didn't want to love it so I just popped it straight back with the £45 trousers (my £35 pairs arrived).
I'm going on a mini break with DS 1 in two weeks when he's finished his exams so I'm being sensible and trying not to spend too much on myself this month.

SoyYo · 30/05/2018 20:01

ella Love love how everything fits you and you’ve given me ideas on how to style the printed trousers

Too many other posts to comment on but to say everything looks fab on you all, duckling I like the Marissa and Stella T specially.

Today still slogging in Paris, didn’t get back to hotel till 8.30 and for a change I don’t have to go out to dinner with colleagues which I always enjoy but when it’s week after week I find myself hankering for a quiet night in with room service which is what I’m enjoying tonight!
Wearing Kensington shirt dress with Fitzgerald jacket which seems to go with everything in my work wardrobe!

Sorry I’m so boring and no fashion news to share, on the plus side all this dull work and travel is preventing me from pondering Hush website so good for my wallet! Smile
Getting my Hush kick from your purchases and photos instead!

Laska5772 · 30/05/2018 21:32

I meant to say that the Washed scoop neck tee has arrived I kept the M.its really nice good thick fabric, but does smell stongly of dye..
I am going to wash it before wearing (but on its own JIC!)

I got it in the £10 off offer..I reckon its worth it.
I may post photo tomorrow if I can,but I have DGS ( 5) here for the next few days so may not get time
I bought these next crops today in yellow , a bit of a departure for me as I usually stick to nice safe denim, navy or black (gone colour mad since I got the flowery Hush ones) .. I really love them . I also got the duck egg blue.

Am losing weight ( about 21lbs all told now since Feb Smile.. and want to lose more - another stone would be nice - am on cherries regime now..so hopefully will .. anyway if they do me one summer that will be great)

Ellapaella · 30/05/2018 21:55

Those are lovely @Laska5772 love the colour

Laska5772 · 30/05/2018 22:02

Thanks ella ..I had a bit of a jeans try on this morning and my Hush Stevie jeans are a bit big now (still ok at the mo though as they are a loose style) . They were quite tight when i got them

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 09:27

Well wearing my new hush floral trousers [mumsnet Hush S&B uniform!!] Arrived in both the 10 and the 8 and the 8 is definitely the best fit wise. Have been wearing a while now and have got baggier in the leg for sure! So glad I didn't keep the 10's as they seemed very baggy in the hips for me. I have had to go down two sizes from my normal size! Having a relaxing day doing nothing much. Day is a bit overcast today and have my kids school sports day tomorrow afternoon but the weather looks stormy so perhaps not going ahead here's hoping I hate sports day!
