Never I'm wearing mine out tonight for a meal with friends - looking forward to wearing them. I got an 8 too, didn't bother with a 10 as on the website reviews lots seem to say they come up a bit loose. It's overcast here but much warmer than yesterday. I hope the sunshine comes back soon, I have lots of nice summer clothes I want to wear now! Been in ugg boots and jumpers the last few days.

FizzPopping · 31/05/2018 10:17

Hi all,

Just been reading through all your recent buys and really tempted by the floral trousers but annoyed I've decided that after the £10 off has finished!

Has anyone ordered the Greenwich top, seems expensive but like the style if its not too fussy.

I'm going to need to contact Hush today, I've worn my Kensington shirt dress once and its looking a bit frayed near the elastic waistband. Also loads of loose threads which i was a bit disappointed by. I'll try and take a photo. Has anyone else had any problems?

FizzPopping · 31/05/2018 10:23

Photo of the dress, it might be a bit of the daisy print that makes it look worse but still not great!

A few years back i bought the Florence dress. Stitching looked fine on the outside. When washing i hung it on a hanger inside out. I looked at the stitching and it was honestly awful. Stitching was all over the place and worse still - missed bits. What the hell. However it did withstand quite a few wears before i flogged it on ebay.

Your dress doesnt look great but hard to see because of the print. However for the price it should be perfect.
I returned a dress that literally fell apart after one wear under the arm. Still waiting a refund.

Looks like they have refunded me :)

Was watching a mumsnet link for hiding the veg shepherds pie and I recognised the ladies trousers. Yes, they are our floral Hush ones!!!

I seem to have gone from not knowing about Hush at all, to being a complete hash addict within the space of a couple of months! Had a bit of a spending spree in London on Tuesday, (thankfully had sold some things on eBay to offset the cost!)
I bought the Aries top, and the short-sleeved sloppy Joe. I had already ordered the Bristol Devore top when it was on offer the other day, and that has just arrived. It is a size 14, I'm between a size 12 and 14 usually. The thing is, it feels quite snug at the cuffs and the hemline, but there is an awful lot of material to it and I wonder whether it is too baggy elsewhere, any opinions?

Hash addict Grin
It looks good on you. I tried it on last year and it looked terrible on me. No idea if they have changed the shape of it. It looks baggy at the front but maybe its meant to be? Looks perfect otherwise.

Haha, pass the hash, you addict :). I actually just had that top delivered two minutes ago. I ordered a 12, but I'm sure I'm much bigger than you, so have perhaps been horribly optimistic. Give me 10 minutes and I will go and try it on. Back soon!

AFingerofFudge · 31/05/2018 12:54

lol Hush not hash obviously Grin

Well, standing in the post office queue with it wrapped back up to return!! Just decided the combination of the excess material, price AND it's handwash only means I'm just not sure enough! Am going to swap it for the Tabitha top (anyone have it?) and see. Annoyingly there doesn't seem to be a facility to exchange, just swap for a different size, so have requested a refund and will order the Tabitha top separately (SUM18 still works for free postage and returns)

AFingerofFudge · 31/05/2018 12:56

I may of course re-order the Devore top if it goes in the saleBlush

Confession time.. I also have the Santana skirt in jolly green colour arriving any day ......

ilovecherries · 31/05/2018 12:57

Well, here it is. I don't think it's for me, I think I'm too buxom for it, and it's quite sheer. This is a 12, and it still feels very loose on me, if it weren't for my 32Ks it would be vast. I wonder if one of them has been mislabelled? My trousers are too big as I'm working at home today, plus my socks and slippers aren't setting the entire thing off, but you get the idea! It suits you a lot better, Fudge.

Oh! I liked it on you fudge x

FlindersKeepers · 31/05/2018 13:21

Can someone buy this and tell me what the sizing is like? Shirred off the shoulder dress
Because spangly. Glitterball

AFingerofFudge · 31/05/2018 13:27

Oh I did like it, just not enough!

Wearing my Aries top today, it's beautifully soft!

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 13:50

Its nice on you cherries but I remember the bit under the arms and that's what I disliked about it. I think it adds too much volume esp at the sleeve. It was all wrong for my shape personally. For the price, you really have to love it. I think I have seen you in better to be truthful.

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 13:51

FlindersKeepers If you like it, why don't you buy it and tell us about it Grin

ilovecherries · 31/05/2018 13:52

It’s sitting at the door in its box. I sent the Bloomsbury dress back, and it had more potential for me, I think. Nice to try it as hadn’t seen it in JL, but it’s not shouting my name.

FlindersKeepers · 31/05/2018 13:53

International shipping, that's why! Grin I do really like it though...

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 13:58

FlindersKeepers Someone may just buy it esp when the sale comes up. Bummer about your international postage. Bit of a pain cost wise.

I liked you both in the top. I've just got back from the airport where I saw someone wearing the Santana skirt. I got very excited because she looked really good and so of course off I go now to look at it for the next few days before I give in and order it!
I tried it on before and liked it - not sure why I didn't get it before, think I got distracted by my shorts purchase!

Ellapaella · 31/05/2018 14:37

Except now I can't because it's all out of stock. Which is probably a good thing as I can't really afford it this month.

neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 14:45

What colour did she have it in Ella?

OP posts:
neveradullmoment99 · 31/05/2018 14:47

I do like it in the green but i dont have good history with long skirts as i wore them all the time in my teens (hippy type) and never choose to wear them now. I do suit them though. Strange!
